For the money and the pedigree of the celebrity chef, at The Ritz-Carlton we were incredibly disappointed but mediocre food and distant but generic service. If you’ve dined at Le Bernadin or other 3 star Michelin restaurants this is not for you. The food was bland, uninspired and overwrought on many ways. For food only exceeding $850 (for two and did not include wine) you expect fireworks but when all you get is a sparkler the only thing you have left is bitter pill of an experience that didn’t love love up to expectations and a credit card bill as a memento. After sharing my experience with several of the ladies and gentlemen I expected someone to care. Alas my feedback seems to have been received and dismissed. If you are staying at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman every restaurant on property was better than Blue.

Great night. We did the 4-course Summer by Blue menu with wine pairings. Everything was great except the final wine pairing but that might be because we detest sweet desert wine. Erjon (sp?) our main waiter was a great guy. Very professional and friendly and we enjoyed listening to him and the team about the food and wine pairing reasons. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten

Highly recommend this place to any food connoisseurs! We did a four course tasting menu. There are two routes you can go on a four course meal. My husband and I decided to pick the opposite of each other so we can taste both options. Every dish was a refined take on familiar meal. The presentation and service were spectacular. Our waiter was Marvin and the team. Both waiters worked in sync… it was like a broadway show with the explosion of taste buds!!! Worth every penny if you love food.

We love Le Bernardin in NYC and we looked forward to our meal at Blue. Everything was exceptional. The sauces are so delicious. We will be back on our next visit to Grand Cayman!

From the minute that we walked in to the minute that we left, the entire 3 hours was a life time experience. The service was exquisite and the food was incredible.
