Our dinner was delicious and the service was wonderful. The waitress sensed my husband wasn't loving the raw or lightly cooked fish options on the prix fix menu, and happily made substitutions and made sure his courses were fully cooked. Sophisticated atmosphere.
One of the best restaurants I have been to anywhere and I have been to Le Bernardin.The food was outstanding and the service even better.The pasta with Iberian ham was my fav among many!
Seven course pre fix dinner with wine pairing was excellent. Seafood is obviously his specialty and each dish was prepared to perfection with great service and wine pairing.
The food at this restaurant is other-worldly! Service was excellent as well. However, it was VERY expensive—over $400 USD per person. A one-time treat if you can afford it.

As others have said this is a very pricey restaurant but the service we had was outstanding and the food very good. I expected to really be blown away by the food, but I wasn’t. Cool experience but having dined at other Michelin rated restaurants I didn’t feel this deserved a 5 star rating.
For people like us, it is a special occasion place, for foodies who like to consider the nuances and intricacies of their food, who like to enjoy the moment, who like to admire how the chef and his people can put together such a beautiful presentation backed by a perfect blend of flavors. I did not understand those who brought young children.....our young children would have been bored stiff and ruined the dinner for us (it takes a long time). In our opinion, everything was delivered as expected - delicious, fresh, flavorful, and stunning to look at. We would do it again. Go for it!

Blue was amazing! The food was delectable, innovative and beautifully presented!!! The ambience was relaxing and absolutely wonderful! Definitely our best dining experience! Looking forward to returning once covid is gone and travel restrictions are lifted!
Food was good, wine pairing were interesting and thought provoking. Restaurants on GC are expensive and this one fits in. Overall, for me, the value was not there.

Every dish was so rich and overwhelming. Lots of butter and cream...to much for three courses one after the other. Some lighter fare interspersed with one rich dish would have been more satisfying.
Very good service but they did the extra bottle of water scam at the end of the meal when we were finished. As if we weren't spending enough already!

Did the tasting menu “Eric Ripert” with wine pairings. Pricy but delicious. Miguel and Pedro provided excellent service along with the rest of the staff. Lobster and polenta and Chocolate Egg were highlights of the food, along with Jerk Halibut. All was great

Definitely a unique experience. The food was good, but not for the less adventurous. I know it’s a seafood place, but they should have a couple of staple beef or chicken options.
Although the ambiance of the restaurant was nice and roomy. The food was not up to the standard for this kind of high priced restaurant. I understand nuovelle cuisine, but some of the dishes were only one mouthful for the price. Will not return again but the service was great and people were upscale.

Good ambience and excellent service. Gabby did a great job of orchestrating the service. Noise level was low and we enjoyed a wonderful evening. However, the food quality was not what we were expecting. The presentation was top notch, but the four course menu was all fish, except for one beef offering. The fish was all raw or nearly raw. We are old fashioned and were hoping for at least a couple fully cooked options. It was quite expensive for the food we didn’t care for. We did not like the cobia and my lobster was mushy, chewy and mealy.
We were looking forward to a meal at Blue.
Sadly, the food choice was very poor and the flavours in each dish were bizarre ( crab with a mushroom broth was akin to fish paste with marmite). My order with lobster was pretty - but the amount of lobster was microscopic.
We saw another table where a lady simply put down her fork and could not eat what she was served.
The snapper served to me was overcooked and served as a slab- frankly the presentation was very poor indeed. A person present commented that one could get similar - and probably better in any restaurant on the island.
The atmosphere was cold- ambience has clearly not been considered at all. It felt like a room adjacent to an hotel conference room.
We agreed that it was the worst meal we have had in recent memory.
The wine list was a veritable catalogue - far too long and badly set out.
Ritz Carlton - you can do much, much better.
It was a very nice experience but it is overrated for the price. The staff was great as well as the ambiance, but would only recommend it for a very special occasion when money is not a concern.
It was wonderful to have my son try the Beluga, since it’s not available in the US. I highly recommend the tasting menu. The food is amazing, eclectic and the wine pairing is perfect. Mikail, our waiter, had also been to the owners restaurant in NYC and was able to give me some recommendations to try the next time I go! This was a wonderful treat!!!
Best dinner I’ve ever had. The butter poached scallops were the most decadent and luxurious preparation of scallops. Everything was truly amazing, from the service to the cocktails, wine, and each dish.
As a local food blogger (@island_epicurean) I can’t recommend Blue enough! It is rare to find a restaurant of this level anywhere in the Caribbean. Their services is outstanding, the wine pairings are precise and the food is innovative while also using local ingredients. Their cocktails are also the best you’ll find on island and worth trying to kickstart the night. It’s usually a special occasion restaurant worthy of a splurge, but this summer they launched the “Out of the Blue” bar menu - a more affordable version that gives you a taste of Blue. It is a must visit restaurant for foodies!
Excellent food and service. Certainly did not expect to have a meal of this quality in the Cayman Islands. Expensive but worth the price. Fresh fish bought in every morning. Perfect for a special occasion or if you’re ever in Grand Cayman. An experience. Not to be missed.
I’m not sure it gets any better. The service was impeccable they just can’t do enough. The presentation and quality of food is probably a standard the worlds finest restaurants should use as the level to achieve. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing food and cocktails. Didn’t think it was possible to get high end NYC quality food in Cayman. The Eric Ripert tasting is definitely the way to go. My Devlin cocktail was a great way to start and finish the night. Will definitely come back!
