Decent food. Great margs! Also close to other bars in the area. Not pricey either.

It' s been a while since I have been here. It was delicious! I had the mini taco and tamale. Both were delicious and moist!

Drinks and service was wonderful! Would come back for drinks and chips, food was decent but nothing special.

I thought it was overpriced for the food/drinks and service we received. Fine for our group and no issues but would not return.

This place was amazing but really loud service was good and staff tried really hard to make it a wonderful experience.

Dined plenty of times always a great time. This time there were kids running around like kids tend to do but it shouldn't be allowed when people are carrying food and glassware. We had to ask our waiter 3 times to get a manager and speak with the adults in the group. The kids eventually sat down and we went back to trying to enjoy ourselves.

Good food, fun environment. The drinks and happy hour was fantastic. The service was decent, it was a little slow to start but redeemed in the end. I would recommend!

We went here for a casual dinner celebrating my friend’s birthday. The waitress was very helpful giving recommendations - I’m a really picky eater and I prefer vegetarian entrees. Luckily, this place has many dishes where you can substitute or opt for veggies. If you’re looking for a drink, I highly recommend the hibiscus margarita!

The Blue Agave had a great atmosphere and our table was great sitting by the windows and being able to look out into the city! The bar area looked fun as we could see it from upstairs. Good drinks too!

My wife and I had a joint bachelor/bachelorette party at Blue Agave, and everything was perfect. Our table for 20 was set up when we walked in, and our waiter with two assistant waiters kept our glasses and chip baskets full. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

Would recommed with reservations. Food was fine, but as previous reviews have mentioned, service was lacking. Pleasant enough waiter took the order for our party of 9 adults and 2 toddlers, delivered the food and then disappeared. Would have ordered another round of drinks had he showed up. Margaritas were ok... NOT great. A bit watered down. We wanted a Mexican place which would be noisy and thus good for the young kids. This fit the bill, but wouldn't rush back. Management: Please note These criticisms easily fixed. You've got a great location and pretty decent food....get with it before you loose your business.

I had great service at Blue Agave and equally great food, not to mention good, strong coffee and an inventive (and strong) margarita. I had shrimp fajita quesadillas, served with cilantro lime rice and borracho beans. The meal was an abundance of food...even without eating the gigantic tortilla in which my shrimp fajita quesadillas were served, I had enough leftovers for a second meal.

Good Mexican, good drinks. Somewhat basic and nothing out of the box. Margarita menu can be a bit confusing...I think they r trying to impress with copious tequila options but it just ends up being confusing

Servers were good, but it took a very long time for our drinks and food to get to us. Food was ok --nothing impressive.

I got the coconut shrimp and loved it! The margaritas were yummy, and our waitress knew a lot about their tequila list to help us choose something special for a shot.

Disappointing experience. Our server accidentally caused a drink to spill into my soup, but didn't offer to replace either. And, I was overcharged for an entree.

Food was good, chips homemade.
Nice authentic tasting Mexican food
Noisy inside - outside seating ok but not a lot of ambiance.

I've been here several times. The food is consistently good, and it's a great spot to kick off the evening with friends before going out to the surrounding bars and clubs

Blue Agave provided a very nice dining experience for us. The margaritas were good, the food was fresh and tasty, and our waitress was attentive. The menu is also extensive, something that is hard to find at Mexican restaurants. All that being said, it didn't stick out in my mind as anything mind-blowing. There isn't anything specific that I didn't like about it, but it didn't overly impress me to the point of returning.

We went to Blue Agave for a birthday celebration. The "skinny" margaritas were good. The wait staff was friendly. The food was very good.

We have come here for the last 5 years, but our experience this time was not very good. The food is still great, but we had to wait almost 10 minutes for service or even to be acknowledged by a waiter after being seated. It wasn't hard to find us since there was only one other table of patrons. Two waiters stood talking to each other but we weren't their concern.
We have our doubts about going back. We always give a place a second chance, and probably will.
However, in this economy we really expect to receive better than mediocre service when spending.

Loved the food and ambiance, our server was missing in action. They have awesome margaritas; I would have had another one if our waitress would have been doing her work... By the way, we think their margaritas are overpriced, we ordered ours with Silver Patron and Cointreau $17+each- for two perhaps better order a bottle of wine.

First timer here for this place! Food was very good overall - table side chips and salsa was very good, although the guacamole app needed some salt and spice. Great neighborhood joint when you want to kick back and have a few margaritas; not a place for a romantic dinner for 2. Place seems to mimic a Chevy's restuarant atmosphere with better food. So dress casual and do worry about dressing to impress as you'll look out of place there. I will be going back!
