Blue Agave Club, in Pleasanton, California, offers a vast assortment of outstanding Mexican food. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a high-end dining establishment and Blue Agave Club fits that bill. The restaurant is known for our award-winning 100% blue agave tequila margaritas, as well as our secret homemade sweet and sour mix.

Some of the most popular entrees at Blue Agave Club are sauteed shrimp, grilled salmon and New York Steak, served with a variety of sauces...from mild to spicy. We are known for our house made sauces including mole poblano, diabla, chile guajillo, and enjococado, which is our 100-year-old family recipe. Many dishes are vegetarian or can be made that way, including fire roasted chile rellenos, enchiladas and our Blue Agave Bowl.

Shouldn't allow kids by them selves around the food when doing a buffet. Have a parend or guardian with them. More than once yesterday I had to stumble over kids who were goofing off around the food with no parents nearby. These kids were little -they were probably at least 10-12 years so they should know better I would hope.

The review is specifically about the holiday brunch experience on Easter 2023. We do this every year, because its just that great. Good selection of well-prepared Mexican classics like chilaquiles and carne adobo. Awesome outdoor patio venue for a Springtime buffet meal. Great service from pleasant, engaging staff. Overall, a great value for dollar proposition, especially considering the bottomless mimosas. We eat here fairly regularly and year-round this place is a Pleasanton gem and a good reason to drive out of your way. Oh, and did I mention live music? The guitarist is great too! This place is a true favorite for our family.

This place is consistently excellent! I’ve eaten quite a few times over the years and have always had great experiences. The crab enchiladas are one of my favorites.

I meet up with my daughter and her gf once a month. We often dine in Pleasanton since it’s the “halfway” point between our houses. I looked up a nice casual/fun restaurant to dine in and Blue Agave popped up. We were not disappointed. From start to finish service was amazing. We were greeted, seated and served in a timely fashion. We had reservations so there was no wait time. The food was amazing as well! We ordered “Camerones Oficinados” and Enchiladas. Very nice meal and service. Thank you for everything! We highly recommend. FYI, the raspberry margaritas were there favorite and I had the patron one. 😌

Love the decor and the service but the food was expensive and not worth it. The shrimp enchiladas had tasty sauce and good shrimp but the corn tortillas were tough and had no flavor. This is a dish that needs flour tortillas that wrap well and are easy to cut with a fork.

We loved everything about our dinner. Food and drinks were amazing. Service was excellent and ambiance was fun and inviting. We can’t wait to go back!
