Blue Agave Club, in Pleasanton, California, offers a vast assortment of outstanding Mexican food. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a high-end dining establishment and Blue Agave Club fits that bill. The restaurant is known for our award-winning 100% blue agave tequila margaritas, as well as our secret homemade sweet and sour mix.

Some of the most popular entrees at Blue Agave Club are sauteed shrimp, grilled salmon and New York Steak, served with a variety of sauces...from mild to spicy. We are known for our house made sauces including mole poblano, diabla, chile guajillo, and enjococado, which is our 100-year-old family recipe. Many dishes are vegetarian or can be made that way, including fire roasted chile rellenos, enchiladas and our Blue Agave Bowl.

The food and service was awful. The server was slow to show up and was really rude when any questions were asked. Also he refused to give extra salsa and wanted to charge for it. When the soup showed up, it was totally cold and flavor less. So we had to wait while they took it back and reheated it. Similarly when fajitas showed up, there was no accompanying cheese, sour cream, or even salsa. Any and all requests were met with condescending glares from a horribly rude waiter, who was also the manager Stay away from this place! Worse than a Taco Bell.

We have always enjoyed our dining experience at Blue Agave Club. The service is very good and the food is excellent. The outdoor patio area is wonderful during nice weather too!

Food continues to be very good, menu is very good, and its all good value per dollar. Service is great, the servers are all super nice, and super helpful. Ambience remains one of the best alfresco dining opportunities in the Bay Area. We'll keep coming back! Side note...the live music has been hit and miss over last couple of years. Most recent performer is vocalist, not instrumentalist. While different, we found it to be a step in a better direction.

Disappointed they were out of few items on menu, given it was Valentines day, better planning should be executed. Service was awful! We’ve eaten here many times, this experience will not have us returning anytime soon unfortunately.
