The fish--snapper and grouper--were outstanding with perfect preparation. Ambiance was a bit dark and funky on a late evening dinner.

First we were seated outside, but had to move back inside due to noise level of a visiting live band. Second there were so many young people outside drinking heavily, while eating, we watched a young lady getting sick in front of our window. Food was good, not enough for the price. This would be a great place if it weren't part of a hotel which changes the environment.

My family dined at the highest rated restaurants in Charleston over a period of one week. I felt the food was better than average as well as the service. The ambiance was extremely casual and overall would be considered at the bottom of the list of restaurants we enjoyed over that week.

Outside seating is a must. You get great views if you can fight off the seagulls. :) The food is good and a nice variety of drinks to choose from. The shrimp is great & chips! Parking isn't easy if you aren't a hotel guest. But depending on your preference, a few blocks walk at sunset isn't a bad trade. The ONLY disappointment I had was being told there was no happy hour after we pretty much came to enjoy the specials and the view. The host mumbled there was no longer a happy hour...yet it was on the menu outside the restaurant.

Gorgeous view - especially at sunset. Option to sit outside overlooking ocean. Food was good. Service was exceptional.

My anniversary date. Ordered BASS..CAUSE NEVER TRIED IT. IT WAS SERVED TO ME IN 10 MINUTES..STILL FROZEN AND RAW INSIDE. IT REALLY BLEW MY NIGHT.

This was my 3rd visit here and have always referred it to my friends. The level of experience we received was below a 1 star. We were told there was no longer a buffet after 11am and it was being broken down. I watched numerous guests, who sat after us, help themselves to the buffet. The manager said they just helped themselves. If that is so, and they kept the buffet open for others, why could I not do the same? The waitress never checked on our table. I had to go to the bar to get refills for my husband and children. Asked once how the food was and that was it. We waited patiently for her to come back with the check. It took along time. It also took over 40 minutes to get our French toast and 4 Steak and Eggs medium rare. We were in a time crunch which is why I wanted to have the buffet. The restaurant is great, the bartenders are great, the server not so much.
