We had a awesome Server name Damian Diaz , he did amazing job and always check to make sure we were doing good and we didn't feel rush. I will definitely recommend everyone to go.
Service was excellent as with the food. However, there was a rowdy table. Not sure if this is the norm at this location but when you’re trying to have conversation and all you hear is people yelling “yoooooooooo” it becomes a bit of a turn off for the overall experience. It’s a small space so you can imagine how quickly the yelling becomes annoying.
My duck entree I had was Ok, nothing to brag about at all. My server, I believe his name was Henry as I am writing this 3day later was super cool, professional and attentive. If it weren't for magical dining I would be livid. Being that we only spent $90 on dinner and a couple of drinks I'm not so mad but I would understand if others would be. Not sure of I'll be back bc it was nothing special about this place at all. We had reservations for outside and they were trying to seat us at some little table next to a high top where the other table would have been sitting above us about 2ft away🤦🏾♂️ I said absolutely not so we had to take a table for 6 when it was just us 2...
Service was very slow but food was good. It was my nieces’ birthday so the waiter wished her a nice bday but I expected him to at least add a candle or special note on her dessert to mark the occasion. Service was definitely a bit disappointing.
Ordered from the Magical Dining menu which had 3 options for entree (salmon, sword fish or duck). My partner had the sword fish & I ordered the duck. We were both disappointed. The rest of the meal was just fair. Since there are so many good restaurants in the area to choose from, we are not likely to return.
Great service and great food. We will be back
Jeff was an excellent attentive waiter, set the tone with great suggestions and knowledge. Had a great night.
We dined out to celebrate my cousin’s 40th birthday. They offered us magical dinner option when we arrived. We had several appetizers before we decided and all were delicious. Most of the ladies ordered magical options. Everything was delicious until the main course. My friend who order the sea scallops her risotto on the entree was extremely salty. Could not eat the risotto at all. Everyone that received the potato side dish also could not eat because of the leave of salt. We mentioned to the server and he did not offer a replacement no did a manager come and talk to us.
No one really made a big deal because we did not want to ruin the vibe for the birthday girl.
Very disappointed that all my guest did not get to enjoy their meal.
Lindsey's service was great, food was great and great ambiance
Great food and outstanding service. Fair amount of food for price as well.
The food was good and the $37 3 course meal was a good bargain for the Magic of Disney promotion. The disappointing part was the bottle of red wine was very warm. I asked the waiter to put it in a chilled container. He put it in a container but it was not chilled so it didn’t do any thing to drop the temperature.
The main course was served long before we were finished with our first course. That meant that our table was very crowded with too many plates, and we felt rushed
There was no one waiting to be seated so it’s not like they had to hurry us along.
Food portion is better than expected a great place to treat yourself
We came for Orlando Magical Dining and had never been here before. We were seated next to a wall in the middle of the restaurant, so no view/ambiance. We could have been sitting in a subway for all the character this place had. The front door was open- when questioned about it, as it was a bit warm & humid inside, we were told that the door had to remain open as customers were seated outside?? Strange, because FL State law requires that doors must remain closed to the elements and for BUGS. They may want to check on this, as I'm positive a lot of bugs entered while we were here for 2 hours, let alone after dark!!
Anyways, the service was the best part of our experience. We had Jeff who was on top of it, timing was good, very friendly & professional.
Both my husband it was good, not very spicy, nothing fabulous. My husband had the 1/2 duck for the entre, which he enjoyed once he got past the overwhelming kimchi sauce (we like kimchi, but couldn't taste the duck.). Also, 1/2 duck means 2 small legs here. I had the salmon & I can honestly say that I've Never had salmon that tasted like Nothing!! We both had the small key lime pie for dessert & it was enough for us & flavorful.
I would not recommend blu on the avenue, especially for Magical Dining. Perhaps other items on the menu are better, we don't know, but we can certainly find a better place to have dinner for $120.00 (That's with 2 drinks & the tip.)
The food was amazing. Our waitress Lindsey kept us laughing the entire time. Great service!
The offerings on the Magical Dining menu were not very good.
Service friendly and welcoming, good drinks, food seemed fresh and nicely presented but unfortunately flavors were not our cup of tea.
Excellent service. Lobster grilled cheese very good. Carrot cake was very dry and tasted old. Overall experience was good. Tina the server was the best part and delivered superior service.
Fondue w/ Lobster was unbelievably great. Lobster roll, sushi, swordfish were all excellent. Desserts and champagne topped off the experience. Great outdoor dining options.
loved it. it was great. the guy behind us was rude but it was fune
I believe our waiter's name was Peter. He was an excellent server with great recommendations and was very knowlegable about the menu. Great sense of humor.
We were celebrating my birthday and it was a wonderful evening. Love the lobster salad and beautiful presentation! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fish tacos! Would highly recommend!
The duck wasn't very good felt the sauce took from the duck. It says half a duck didn't realize that meant two legs. Swordfish was good. Will not be back wasn't for me.
Excellent seafood. Best grouper in town. I love the Winter Park sushi roll. Not for everyone but I love it. No rice. Excellent service every time!
It took very long for our food to get ready literally 2 hours
Great besides the fact of the 40 minute wait for sushi!
Food and service is top notch, weather you want sushi, sashimi , or a hit dish thus place does not disappoint ….
Henry is awesome! His recommendations are spot on.
Love this place.
The food was superb but pricy. Our server was very attentive.
EXCELLENT PLACE. A BRIEF AND NOT COMPLICATED MENU WITH OPTIONS
We enjoyed our meal. Excellent Fried calamari. The Caesar salad could use more robust savory seasoning in the dressing.
Service was outstanding! The staff does care about you & the food very delicious. Can’t wait to be back
Server was knowledgeable and friendly. The batter used on conch fritters appetizer was very dark and made fritters look as though they were burnt. Fritters may have been cooked longer than they needed because even though the fritters were tasty, they were a tad bit rubbery in chewing them. Food was hot and seasoned just right. Would recommend all to try Blu on the Avenue.
Food is very good. Dining inside is extremely loud! I would definitely recommend.
Always enjoy our food and drinks at blu! Service is excellent too!
Drinks very light pour - server had asked if we wanted double we said no. Ordered vodka with fresh lime. Tasted watered down, no lime or vodka taste.
Sashimi good. Fish taco tasted like canned pineapple and fishy tasting mahi. Have never had mahi taste like this. Mahi is not a fishy fish. Totally inedible.
Conch fritters seemed well prepared but conch so chewy it could break a tooth. And, yes, I know conch has some chew to it, but not like this.
Very disappointing. Won’t be back
Went for a birthday lunch with my sister. Only had 3 appetizers and a bottle of wine. Everything was yummy.
Lovely experience with our server, Henry, very attentive. Good food and ambiance. Will recommend to others and come back for more!
We went to try the Bite 30 prefix. Good portions, great food and service.
Highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back.
One person in the party ordered Sushi and said it was the best they had ever had.
I have to say that I had high hopes walking in. Those hopes were quickly ended. The service was kind of slow and the food left little to be desired. I ordered a drink and it didn’t taste right, so I had them replace it which I had no problem with. I asked for another drink(Manhattan) and it was not good at all. My girlfriend was supposed to go back again today but quickly canceled after the experience.
