My daughter and I both really enjoyed the swordfish offered on the Orlando Magical Dining menu. It was cooked to perfection and the potatoes and asparagus that accompanied this were delicious. We started with a fresh Caesar Salad and finished with the Oreo Brownie and the Bread Pudding. Of these, I would recommend the Oreo Brownie. Our waiter, Thomas, was very attentive and everything was delivered promptly. Such an enjoyable dining experience.

We enjoyed our dinner during Magical Dining month at Blu on the Avenue. The salmon chips were unusual and tasty. I liked the grilled salmon although the sauce was spicier than I prefer. And the bread pudding could have used a sauce. We had excellent service and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. It's worth a visit if you haven't been here before.

First time at Blu, reviewed magical dining options to try something new and decided they had the most interesting menu for what we were wanting. Food was delicious. We had the salmon and swordfish as entrees. We didn't expect it to be so casual, photos and marketing make it appear more on a Ruth's Chris level but it wasn't. Menus were printed on paper ...drink menu had the look of printer running out of ink and just didn't align to the upscale vibe they were showing online. Wine menu was decent, bourbons were limited but overall decent bar menu. Service was good but felt rushed. Server was bringing out desert as we were taking our last bite of dinner , we only ordered one drink so he probably wanted to turn the table. Either way we will be back. Lobster rolls looked delicious so definitely want to try it.

We tried this restaurant for the magical dining. Started out with the salmon chips appetizer, which was beautifully served and flavorful. I had the swordfish with lobster butter. My husband had the lobster roll & he loved it! We finished up with a key lime trifle--excellent flavor here. Hubby had strawberry bread pudding which he said was very good. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Happy hour drinks were great and a bargain. We will be back!

Service needs lots of work. After one hour we received partial plates, could not fill the order. Waiter needs to use a better choice of words I kept hearing it will just be a minute or two! That said I wasn’t done eating and the bill was sitting in front of me. Wish my food came that quick. Will not be back!!

We had an excellent meal. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious. Beverages (an Old Fashioned for my husband, a Negroni for me, were great. My husband's sushi and my yellowtail were outstanding. We took desserts to go. The peanut butter pie was yummy, and my husband hasn't yet tried his carrot cake. Tina provided exceptional service.

I dined at The Blu for Magical Dining. The food was excellent but the service was average. The restaurant's website pictures made it like the walls were blue but they weren't. I ordered the salmon chips, bar-b-que salmon, and the Oreo brownie. All of my food choices were excellent. The dessert was not a full size but it was great!

The food was very good. I enjoyed the atmosphere and overall quality. Our service was not the best; our food was accidentally delivered to the wrong table, which is not a huge deal but there was no communication to us. We sat for over 50 minutes wondering what was going on until we had to flag down a server and ask. We again waited 30ish minutes after entrees were taken until dessert arrived. Our server didn’t come check on us until after dessert. I was disappointed because no one addressed it or communicated with us. The food however was excellent.

We came here for magical dining at 6 pm We put our order in at least three times with two different wait staff and by 7 o’clock we had no food, not even an appetizer. We finally got our appetizer and our entrée, and then it took forever to get our dessert. We did not get out of there until 815. We talked to the manager and she said she would. “make it right.” Well, when we got the bill, all she did was take off some drinks. We told the waitress this was not acceptable, so she took off the second round of drinks. And not all of us had a drink. We don’t understand what happened, because the restaurant was not crowded. And by the way, they were out of swordfish so they were going to replace that with mahi-mahi and then we find out they are out of that as well. Two of the guests ended up ordering the salmon. Food was pretty good. The lobster had way too much mayonnaise. It will be a while before we return to this restaurant. This was very disappointing as we were really looking forward to trying the magical dining here.

We were four people and each had the magical dining meal. 2 caesar salads and 2 spicy tuna rolls were fine. Three had lobster rolls. They were small and consisted of very small shreds of lobster. There wasn't even one large piece in the three rolls. They were not very flavorful. I wonder whether this is freshly cooked lobster or a commercial product. One person ordered swordfish but was told that they were out and mahi mahi was being substituted. They ran out as we ate at 7 pm. The fish was tasty although portion small. We each had bread pudding. To me it was dry and needed a sauce. service was fine and we were seated on time.

Celebrated a birthday at Blu. While a little only pricey side, as expected, the fresh grouper and the lobster mac and cheese were absolutely outstanding. Our server was attentive and her recommendations were spot on. Being a week night, it was not crowded, so the atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. We were not able to sit outside due to a thunderstorm but inside was lovely. Would highly recommend

Where to start... Our server was AWESOME, so gracious, so refreshingly pleasant! SHAME on me for not remembering his name🫣, but what great service!! 👍 Then the food...Bon Appétit! And my margarita was perfectly done! Love that their menu was on the healthier side. Kudos! Definitely recommending this restaurant!

A true local spot amidst the hubbub of all of the restaurants on Park Avenue. Great variety of selections on the menu, and a good place to stop for happy hour oysters and a glass of wine at the bar.

The food was very good and our waiter did his best, but there was a block party outside, the place was packed, the noise deafening and the service so poor we had to hunt down our waiter more than once. Finally gave up waiting for the dessert to come and left paying for it but not getting it. Not good.

We had our first drink 1 hour later after we sat at the table. We got our food 1hour and 45 min after we arrived. When we received our appetizers, silverware were missing and our server no where to be found. The restaurant wasn't that busy. It was fathers day and needless to say that was one of the poorest dinning experiences we had in years. The manager did approach our table in the end and was very nice trying to make up to us. There is my understanding that they were short stuffed. I hope we were just unlucky but we are definitely not going back.

Came here last night to take advantage of the Bite 30 menu. Comes with an appetizer, main course and dessert. If you compare the regular menu to the Bite 30 menu, you can say that you get a lot for your buck. As far as the appetizer portion, it was quite small. I was expecting more of the key lime trifle though. I was expecting layers but it was quite the opposite. It was more key lime flavor cream and the bottom was just a sprinkle of graham crackers. I was kinda bummed about it— I was hoping it would be a crust on the bottom, but it wasn’t. The main course was good though. Perfect size portion. The duck was seasoned to perfection and had a nice crunch to it. The soft shell crab BLT was just as delicious. The shoe string fries was good just a tad bit on the salty side though. I really enjoyed the appetizers of oysters Rockefeller and crab cake. It was small but just enough to fill your belly before the main course. Our waitress was really nice. It’s a cute little restaurant with a nice size bar. I’d come here again.
