BLT Steak - Bally's Ratings and Reviews
The food overall was excellent. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sides (Green beans, Brussell sprouts, and truffle mashed potatoes were excellent, but the stuffed mushrooms were just ok. The pâté was also just ok. The drinks and champagne were excellent. The desserts were excellent as well. Fantastic Banana cream pie. The service was good, but could have been better, especially for the money you spend here.
The food is decent, but at these prices it should be much better. Both our steaks were cooked incorrectly - I ordered medium rare, but got extremely rare and even more disappointing, cold in temperature. Wine by the glass selection was Costco poor and way overpriced. Also, no bathrooms in this establishment, so even though you are dressed up for a nice meal costing $300 or more, expect to walk a quarter mile through the Bally's casino and back while your table waits on you.
We came here for my friends bachelor party to eat and everything was delicious. I wish I remembered our servers because she was really wonderful and easy to talk too. She was very attentive. All our steaks came out at perfect temps. The bone marrow on the side was a surprise but delicious! Definitely would recommend to friends and family and visitors on the strip.
We were pleasantly surprised by the two amuse-bouche which were tasty. Then came the huge popovers, also good! Three of us ordered the filet and one the braised short ribs. My steak was undercooked and not anything special. The other two had better-cooked filets and said they were good (we ALL ordered medium for cooking instructions). The ribs arrived in a huge pot but weren’t very big. Tasty but my husband has had better. Our biggest complaint, and something we joked about for the rest of the trip (not in a good way), were the mashed potatoes. When they first arrived, we thought it was some kind of sauce because the container was so small!! It appeared to be the equivalent of 1/2 a potato - and cost $12!!! The small spoonful we each got was very good but we expected more. The server told us two people could share the sides and that was true for the other sides we ordered - the carrots and onion rings which were both good. Then came complimentary cake pops for dessert. They satisfied the sweet tooth so we didn’t order any additional desserts.
The food was great. The only thing I have to say is the prices didn’t go along w the food quality. Our waiter would be missing for 20 min at a time. The fact that our bill for five was five hundred and ten dollars. Definitely not a place I would do more than once. Don’t get me wrong food was amazing. It was slow and we had to wait 20 min after our reservation time to get sat. And then at the end another 20 min for our check even though the waiter saw we were done. Not exactly what I was expecting.
I dined alone and ordered the $65 Bone in Ribeye.
The lady who took my order told me the steak would be caramelized.
When I got the steak one side had a heavy burnt tasted.
Again they told me about the process of Medium Well Steak.
However this steak appear to have not been turned regularly resulting it being burnt.
Although not on the review list. My group all ordered beef. My ribeye was awesome. My wife got a filet and loved it, and the couple that was with us shared the porterhouse. They said it was delicious. Sort of spendy but not outrageous considering the portions were large. We all had leftovers even. I tried all the steak leftovers the next day and they were all good.
Everything at BLT Steak was good from start to finish. The food was excellent! Everything tasted phenomenal! The steak was the best that I have ever had and the stuffed mushrooms and creamed spinach were excellent as well. All 4 of the guests that were with me were also very satisfied with their meals. The service was top notch also. We will be back!
Service was awfully disappointing ! The busboy was better than the waiter. Dinner was good but I had short ribs which tasted good but were tough. My husbands steak was great. Atmosphere just ok. I think the service was my biggest issue and when I tried to discuss this by asking if they were short staffed he walked away from me. It felt like a roadhouse restaurant but price did not reflect that. Left a tip but regretted leaving it after we left
Popovers and salad were amazing. My husband ordered the Dover sole, market price was $73.00 seems overpriced to me, but he said it was the best fish he has had. My daughter and I had the wagyu filet. Good, but not great. Had the taste of burnt garlic to me, and hers was too crunchy on outside for medium, and dry on the ends she said. Would go back but not order the wagyu beef.
Very disappointed with the meal, service very slow right from the start.
Restaurant was extremely dark and could hardly see anything literally.
Ordered shrimp cocktail which consisted of 4 freezing cold prawns and a small pot of spicy tomato dip. That was it. Big glass full of ice and nothing else for $21 plus taxes was terrible.
Had steak for 2 which was nice, sides pleasant but not great and $14 each is poor.
Was to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and wouldn’t normally care about spending good money on good food, but at $250 u are expecting great and it wasn’t anywhere near that.
Arrive early for your reservation where the hostess, Anna, will greet you warmly. A nightly happy hour 4 PM to 6 PM in the lounge is where pleasant, engaging bartenders Mike, Autumn, Edwin, et al will expertly mix a cocktail. These bartenders are serious about their craft to the point they create new, delightful cocktails and vie to have these incorporated onto the menu. The wait staff is flawless and consider yourself fortunate if you are seated at Hugo's table. He is a 43-year-veteran of the venue who is engaging, charming and genuine, and who gives you a taste of what dinner in Las Vegas should be. Assistant Manager, Char is sweet and personable with a focus on customer service and a vocal appreciation of the staff. A customer of BLT will leave satisfied.
We were seated right on time for our reservation. Our waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We used a Travelzoo voucher with no issues. The crab cake appetizer was outstanding as was the Caesar salad. Our steaks were cooked to the proper requested temperatures and were seasoned well and tender. The onion rings were the only disappointment of the meal. The crepe souffle was mind blowing. We would return just for that. All in all, it was a great meal and we would go again.
