The atmosphere was extremely casual, not fitting for the prices we paid for the food. We come to BLT to have a fine dining experience and just did not receive it. The restaurant was out of several items and shorthanded. We eventually had to ask for a server to get water and bread brought to the table. We brought a couple who had never experienced BLT and we left embarrassed. We will probably will be seeking out a new fine dining reataurant.
The chef is fantastic.
I have been to this restaurant several times since it opened. It seems to have gone down hill slowly over the years. I recently brought a friend who was all but impressed. The service was lacking and we were over charged for several items that according to the server were supposed to be comped. We did not know that they were scheduled to close at years end. It doesn't surprise me.
Amazing steak, one of the best in the city. Expensive but worth it. Sadly, this location is supposedly closing after the first of the year. Go while you can.
Great environment however the service and food was average. The short rib was somewhat bland and cold in temperature in an area, as if it was reheated.
Have been several times and the food and beverages are always solid. Very convenient being in the W hotel so you can make an evening out of it.
All my request were made and had a great dinner with my wife during our stay in Atlanta

The food was wonderful. Especially liked the pop overs. The amuse bouche was a nice touch. Staff was nice but service was very slow.
Dropped in on Sunday night, it was a very quiet setting, the service was second to none, the bone in ribeye was one of the best steaks I have ever put in my mouth, the jalapeño mashed potatoes were awesome, my wife's filet mignon was a little disappointing but overall this is an awesome place to eat, I will definitely be going back.
BLT's dinning room décor was comfortable, cozy, modern and hip. The restaurant was spacious. Our Mom's wheelchair fit perfectly in the semicircle formed by the soft leathered banquette. Our food was served with care and correctness. There were left-overs to travel home with. Our meals were delicious. We felt welcomed and truly enjoyed lingering in place when we finished our meal.
I will be back.
Was ok. Food was good but presented with no flair and was fresh but not hot. For the money would go to Ruth Chris instead.
Nice spot good food great drinks
Excellent attentive service. Low noise for conversation. Good cooked to preference dishes. Similar to other higher end steak places.
Food quality was average. I had a burger medium and it was dry.
The seating all had tears in the back padding which was a real negative for a business meal and the supposed caliber of this restaurant. The popovers were extremely tough and appeared to be day old.
Great place and service...but even better food...will be back!!!
The service was impeccable but for the second time they overcooked my steak. That being said, once the temperature of the steak was correct it was excellent as well. My favorite are probably the Jalapeno Mashed Potatoes.....overall a good experience.
First time in Atlanta, we were staying at the W downtown and we got very excited to eat at BLT, specially that I have been to BLT NY multiple times. I have to say the whole experience was just ok. Not good or bad, simply ok.
Had to send my steak back 3 times. Other than that the experience was good.
I'm not sure if we just went on one of their off-days or what but service started out good but proceeded down-hill from there. Our appetizer was very good (oysters) but when our steak & veggies arrived, they were barely warm. They tasted good but no one likes barely warm. So not sure why that happened. Not a good first time experience. Sorry, but Ruth Chris has them beat- both in service & food!
This was a really excellent steak house experience. Great service, food and wine. You won't be disappointed
When we first got there it took us too long to get a drink. But by the time we were seated we had excellent service. We stayed almost until they closed and our server brought up a round of free drinks at the end of the night. Great service and would recommend.
Everything was just extraordinary as well as amazing service
It was amazing, so good that I went back there twice! Great steak, great shrimp, great sides, great wine, great service !
The service was quick and food cooked to the requested temperature. Our server was very attentive.
Service was spotty and slow, food was good but not great, and the bar selection of bourbon was the worst I've seen at a steakhouse. Convenient since we were staying in the hotel but wouldn't go back necessarily. I have no issues paying higher prices for good meals but this was much too expensive given our experience.
When we first got there they asked for our drinks, we stepped outside for a few we came back and drinks were gone. I ordered the lemon rosemarry chicken and it came out raw.
Thoroughly enjoyed our business dinner! Food, wine and service was excellent. Thank you.
It was OK. Service was good, pretty slow for a Saturday night, probably people know what I learned...
The pop overs were really good. Other than that, the food was mediocre. Wife got a filet that was over cooked. I got a bone in ribeye that was really disappointing. REALLY tough and only ate about a third of it, and I LOVE steak. Out of lobster and sole, and no sour cream for potato.
So overall it was an average to below average meal. It cost just shy of $300 with tip. I honestly feel it was very overpriced and would not return. MUCH better steak houses around for the same price or less (Kevin Rathburn Steaks, Bones, and Mckendrics).
Food and steak not worth what they are asking for. Will not return.
My steak was fabulous and that is why I would recommend to a friend. We sat at booth in the bar. I was very happy that we would get fast service and be in and out since it was later in the evening. The bar was empty. Our service was so slow and our food took forever to get to us. I loved the dinner but won't rush back due to the lack of premium attention you deserve at the price you pay for dinner.
We looked forward to our return to BLT for my husband's birthday celebration. We both had ribeye steaks and they were good, but a bit overdone. We enjoyed a moderately priced bottle of wine and my husband loved his dessert. The service was pleasant, though nothing special. We will probably try one of the other steak restaurants for our next special occasion.
Shane our server was wonderful! The food was absolutely wonderful. We had a great 7th anniversary dinner.
Worth the trip for the outstanding steaks, and for the bonus Popover. OMG
The steaks were good. But, the service was terrible. The manager took our orders, and the got busy. Different waiters would drop off parts of the meals, literally setting down the plate and just walking away. No following up, to even realize they had the orders wrong.
Very frustrating to have a business meal and the restaurant not provide basic service.
If you charge fine dining high end prices, then I expect everything to be spot on. Salad was just OK, had the spinach. Needed more dressing. It is huge, though. I ordered the bone in ribeye, only to have him come back and say they just sold the 2 (!) that rhey had. I didn't see anyone get one. The mac and cheese was tough and cold. We sent I back for a refire.
Sides are over priced.
Had to send the steak back it came over done. It was still over done second time it came back. They also didn't have the steak I wanted "porterhouse". The sides were ok but the actual steak was very average. I also ordered the wagu which was also over done. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a good steak. Came down for breakfast the next morning. Cheese omelette and potatoes was $16 smug crazy. I was staying at the W which was attached to BLT so it was just the closest place to eat.
Could not prepare a baked potato, which is one of their side options. TWICE! The only compensation they provided for that was one desert to split between 4 people.
The waiter had to google the cut of the steak we asked about and showed us his phone.
Meh....over-priced & pretentious. The food was good, however this is more of a business scene.
