BLT Steak at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale is a part of the JW Marriott resort and serves classic American steakhouse cuisine. The open-air seating with extra tall ceilings provides an airy setting that blends into the outdoor seating and complements the open-air kitchen.

BLT Steak is known for Staub cast iron pans that are used for both cooking and serving. The BLT Steak has dinner, dessert and cocktail menus with a special �bar bites� selection. My food with BLT was very good. The short ribs and Sea Bass were exquisite. The fontina potatoes were heated correctly and the texture was spot on. The onion rings were a disappointment and had to be returned due to being greasy and soft. The chocolate dessert was very good along with the ice cream. I thought the apple pie wasn't crisp enough but the flavor overall was good. The service was great and everyone was very hospitable.

One of my favorite steak houses ever. I am sorry that it is leaving this location. I will try some of their others. I hope the hotel keeps the popovers.

BLT has been one of our favorite restaurants because the food and service are consistently outstanding. The popovers are a special favorite of ours. We especially love going when the weather is cool enough to allow outdoor dining. The view of the city from the patio is amazing. We are so sad that it is closing. We think that Marriott is making a huge mistake. There isn't anything they can bring in that will surpass BLT. We will be eating there weekly until it closes. A special note of praise for Sami the server. We always make sure to ask for her. Her service is above and beyond.

He had the rib-eye, I had the halibut - both were cooked beyond perfection. The popovers are heaven. Dining experience was 100% on point!! Only complaint, we live in MN and can't come here more often!!

I really like BLT - I have been to this one several times and others around the country. I like the pate and the popovers. My steak was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The provincial tomatoes also were excellent. My wife's fish was not so good - it was dry and rather tasteless. Some would say, you shouldn't order fish in a steak house, but if they are going to serve it, it should be good/excellent.
But my main reason to not recommend this BLT is that it is closing next month. Our server told us that it is not relocating, just closing.

Went to celebrate a birthday. It was a big miss... Seemed that everything was over salted to compensate for lack of flavor. The ribs were dry and tasteless, left them on the plate. The sides were ok but it seemed everything was seasoned so similarly that it all tasted about the same - smokey salty. We were seated next to hostess stand which made us feel we were in the way as they talked over our table about their other customers. We asked if marshmallows were in the brownie or just on top and no one seemed to know. Just seemed like the staff lacked training or oversight. Service would have been ok at a lessor restaurant but I expect a higher level of service at this price point. We ordered the 11 year old a desert thinking it would have a birthday candle or something... Nope... Just a happy birthday written on the plate of the free coffee brownie bites that every table gets. Most 11 year olds don't like coffee things - just a lack of attention on our servers part which summed up the entire experience.

Have dined here often with no issues and excellent service but this time anything that could go wrong did go wrong. Manager comp'd the dinner which was nice ( and appropriate) but I'd rather pay and have a dining experience that was anticipated.
We will go back as it is normally top notch- we just caught them on an off night.

The star ratings I have assigned are not accurate as this reservation was cancelled. The comment or review section would not let me proceed to the comments section without filling something in for a star rating.

Again, I have not eaten here and cannot rate it. I am disappointed it has close and I will no longer have the opportunity to try it.

I have eaten at the Atlanta location and I highly recommend to all. Very sorry E Squared has pulled out of Phoenix.

We always enjoy BLT.
Our server Sam is a gem. Very attentive. Great Martinis from the BLT bar. We especially enjoy the casual country club feel to the resturant. Popovers are amazing with sea salt to top them off. Usually I order the rack of
Lamp. This time I went for the Ribeye bone in. So tender and seasoned just right. Roasted cauliflower for our side was delicious. We ended our meal with sorbet. Great experience.

We did not have a good experience at BLT Steak. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were looking forward to a relaxing night away from the kids. Our table was so close to the two tables on each side of us that we could hear each others conversations. Our server was in a hurry to take our order and turn the table. We told her many times that we weren't ready to order the next course and she would come back within a few minutes to ask again. We ordered our salad and main course and they were brought out at the same time even thought we specifically told her that we wanted to take our time and wanted them brought out separately. My fish was extremely oily and tasteless and my husband's filet had such a strong campfire taste to it he was unable to finish his meal. We also ordered a side of mushrooms and they were completely tasteless and tough. Our bill was almost $300, for that amount of money I would expect a wonderful meal. We will not be your money and stay home!

After visiting this restaurant with a group. I decided to give it another try and confirm my first reaction of "fantastic". A Sunday (or off night), the BLT opens at 6 pm, however there is a nice bar adjacent to the dining area. The Marriott resort offers service that is out standing and this evening was great. The dinner selections are varied, but they have wonderful steaks, cooked to perfection, with your choice of a sauce to accompany it. The filet is what my guest and I had. The caesar salad was large enough to share, a la cart sides and over the top popovers were served. This was a relaxing dinner in a beautiful, contemporary setting tucked into the Camelback mountain. Whether you are a guest of the resort or a local resident looking for a night out, the BLT Marriott serves you well.

Been here many times. Was excited to bring my friends who hadn't. Ordered the Kobe and when it can first bite was good. Then I realized it was incredibly over salted. Typical for chefs that smoke. The waiter was incredibly scarce. I had the choice to sit there and not eat or plow through it. By the time waiter checked in everyone else was done. Served no purpose to return partially eat cold steak when all others were done. Very disappointed.

This dining experience was great from beginning to end! We were seated promptly and the servers were extremely attentive. They offered a complementary tasting pate, along with their famous pop-overs before we even confirmed our dinner choices. I highly recommend the artichoke appetizer and peanut butter mousse dessert. One of the best dining experiences I've had.
