Excellent fresh bar start & then to the days special of flounder (I chose blackened &added a crab cake) with collard greens side.
Service was great with much South Charm
Highly recommended if in Charleston
Blossom is a charming spot perfect for any occasion. The food was delicious and everything we ordered arrived at our table at the perfect time. Our server, John was a absolutely amazing and made the dinning experience a pleasurable one. Make sure to request him as your server!
Overall good experience. Very hard to hear others at the table because of the noise level. The ambiance is lovely and the food very good.
Blossom was our restaurant choice for our anniversary dinner. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the prices about what we expected. The acoustics need some work as the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation.
Good food, great and friendly service. Pimento cheese blackened catfish was amazing.
Service was very good - classic Charleston cuisine.
Normally the food is outstanding. I am from Charleston so that is one heck of a compliment. Unfortunately this time the food was not good. Obviously a different chef. Will definitely return as we eat there at least once a month. However if the meal is not good we will frequent one of the other outstanding restaurants in Charleston.
Blossom has a nice setting and ambiance. Great food and attentive staff.
My sister and I were visiting Charleston and Blossom was recommended.
Lovely atmosphere, pretty people, delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Our party of 6 enjoyed our meals. The Green tomatoes were sublime!
We loved Blossom and will be back when next in Charleston, NC.
I was very pleased with the food and the waiter. It was an excellent place for a business dinner.
John took very good care of us and our party of four enjoyed the experience!
I always like going to Blossom when in Charleston. Our waiter was attentive. While ordering we changed our mind about something. The additional things we cancelled were on the bill.
My friend and I went to Blossom for her birthday and it was the best choice! It was our first time so we tried a little bit of everything. We sat at the raw bar while waiting for our table and had a glass of wine and oyster shooter. Our server Katie was awesome, she really knew the details of how things were prepared and suggested a couple of items. We ultimately had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, the scallops and catfish for dinner, and the hot fudge and banana pudding for desert. ALL of it was out of this world delicious!! I highly recommend visiting Blossom for any occasion.
Fried green tomatoes are awesome!! Went for dinner and came back for lunch the next day just for that dish.
What a wonderful surprise! The food was memorable. The parsley butter was the best I have ever tasted. I usually do not have bread but the waitress suggested I try a little. I ended up eating three pieces. The scallop crudo was interesting and had a little bite to it. The blue crab ravioli was creamy and rich. Great service. Nice ambience. Will definitely return on my next trip to Charleston.
Excellent food choices. Lovely server Jan made it a very nice experience all round.
Food was delicious, especially the exquisite She Crab Soup!
Outstanding food and first rate service. One of our favorite restaurants in Charleston
This was our third visit to Blossom and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and fresh, Service was excellent the ambience was perfect !
I have not been to Blossom in a number of years. It was better than I remember and will definitely make a return trip the next time I am in Charleston..
Love your restaurant. It's our go-to place when we can get in
Fine dining service. our waitress was great, the manager is a hard worker. He stops by every table and ask how things are. He also helps deliver food, bus and clean tables. Hands on manager. Keeping everyone happy and helping to turn tables faster. Very visible. Waitress will ask questions and will offer suggestions. Knew her stuff. Yes the food was good. reasonable portions. must try butter that comes w the biscuits.
Love this restaurant, excellent value for a four star meal. Service excellent.... Will return many times....
Excellent Service! Pan-Seared MahiMahi was delicious!
We had an exceptional meal as the server was professional and well informed, the Mahi Mahi delicious and the recommended dessert-delicious
They managed our experience perfectly as we had no issues with a 6:15 pm reservation and a 7:45 pm will call at the Footlights Players just around the corner
The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Sea scallops with grits were cooked perfectly. Sauce was light and tasty. The sea scallops with avocado was exceptional
Dinner took an hour to be served - “backup in the kitchen”, but the comped us desserts to make up for it. Main dining room is very noisy - if you are a party of two, ask for one of the tables in the corridor near the entrance - much quieter.
Melissa (our server) was awesome! Would definitely recommend Food and drinks were delicious.
Interesting experience for us as some food was excellent, some very forgettable. The swordfish and the mahi mahi were excellent, while the she crab soup was good at best and the calamari was below standard—clearly frozen, much like one might find at a Chili’s. Our server tried hard and was nice, but made mistake after mistake to the point that we were all giggling about it. Finally, nearly every restaurant in Charleston gets the lighting just right, but Blossom has track lighting of sharp white light—easy fix but not good for ambiance. We wouldn’t return to this spot.
waiter was just ok. restaurant too noisy. it was more casual than I expected, and not as good as Magnolias.
Great place to dine with friends. Great food, wonderful service. Nice ambiance!
Entrees were delicious! Calamari app was perfectly cooked. Shared a dozen various oysters. Personally I didn’t really like them and I LOVE raw oysters. I didn’t like the Cocktail sauce (too close to ketchup) or the vinegar with chunked picked horseradish. I suppose I prefer the traditional approach of saltines & grated horseradish IN cocktail sauce. But that is only my preference. I would go back.
It was ok. Hush puppies were cold. Entrees were good.
Absolutely delicious!!!! Great experience. My shrimps with grits was very very good. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent crab cakes and service!
Made a reservation for a dinner with a friend who came in from out of town. Billy (?) our server was wonderful And guided us appropriately, but still gave us our space to chat and catch up. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend!
It was the first night in Charleston for my wife and me. Blossom was the only place we could get a reservation and it came moderately well recommended. The hostess first tried to seat us at the farthest back table isolated from the fun of the restaurant and next to a server’s station. We asked for another seat and the manager kindly found us a very nice seat. The ambiance and the service were very good but the meal was nothing special and certainly not worth the price.
Celebrated our 29th anniversary in Charleston! Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Blossoms! Yummy food choices, fantastic server, great atmosphere!!!
