Vegan only cuisine, so healthy and plant based. Rigatoni pasta is creamy and full of taste with cashew pasta. Seitan marsala special similar to traditional type, but blander and milder. Beet tofu "salmon" is sweet outside but bland inside. All veggies are fresh, from kale to potatoes. Chocolate ganache is excellent, while "ice cream" is more sorbet like with soy base. Apple strudel is tasty too. Beer kombucha refreshing. Prices are hefty, so value is moderate.
We were a group of six for a family gathering- mostly from out of town. Taco and nacho appetizers were great. Salmon tofu dinner was good but a bit bland. The pizzas were terrific- we had both regular and gluten free versions. The market plate was also amazing. Service was very friendly but not always attentive or timely. It was 20 degrees outside but they did not have the heat turned on - just cold air blowing on us. They could not adjust it for us. We wore our coats for most of the meal.
The margarita pizza was “like soup on a pizza” as described by my daughter. It was too wet which made it hard to eat, and did not taste good. My son had the lasagna, which tasted good, but for the price we paid, it was a very small portion with no bread or a side salad at all. I have the seitan piccata, which was OK but again, very small portion. I would not go back.
The food was delicious as usual. I got the BLT for the first time which was A1. the char marks on the tofu was a wonderful touch. My only problem was the time it took for the delicious food to come out.
We love this place! It’s the perfect pairing for a museum or planetarium date at the American Museum of Natural History :)
Went for a birthday! Amazing food, especially the mushroom ravioli, jackfruit tacos and Seitan Picatta. Excellent cocktails and great desserts in peach cobbler and Tiramisu made the overall dinner perfect. They service was excellent and they were patient with the kids. I would definitely dine again!
Blossom was wonderful as usual. I celebrated my 50th birthday with some close friends, many of whom are not vegan or vegetarian and they enjoyed their meals tremendously. I ordered the seitan piccata and it was okay. I love their seitan special in a wine reduction and was comparing the two which I shouldn't because they are two different flavor profiles. The artichoke and gnocchi appetizers were delicious and so was the chocolate dessert. I appreciated that we didn't get an attitude because we weren't drinking heavily (and increasing the bill). I am alcohol-free and so are a few of my guests while others only had one glass each. I also appreciated that we were not given an attitude when we ordered only 1 dessert to share (I try to stay very low to no sugar consumption). We each had an appetizer and entree and I ordered an alcohol-free mojito that was DELICIOUS!!!!
Waitress never came to check on us. Food was bland. We didn’t have sugar or salt and pepper on the table. Waitress didn’t inform us that the whipped cream was extra. Disappointing experience :(
This was a lunch visit and, while plenty of customers, the restaurant was quiet and blessedly comfortable for conversation. That is a major plus for it. Even the non-vegetarian friend was impressed with the food.
The service was sloooow. If you go, don't order the gluten free pizza.
Delicious vegetarian food!
I love this place .
Great healthy food, lovely atmosphere and great service.
Good value also
Service was very knowledgeable and prompt without being intrusive. Restaurant was busy but staff was fully attentive. Food was amazing with a great variety to suit many palettes. Tiramisu was *chefs kiss*. Will definitely recommend to friends and return to dine when we visit nyc.
Amazing food - probably the best we have ever had and we've been vegan for almost 3 yrs now. Great service. Pricey but you get what you pay for.
Support the concept of plant forward menu, ambiance was spacious ..loved the banquettes and pillows.
Appetizers and salads were tasty, but sweet potato main course was a mushy mess .
That grilled cheese though! 💚🌱
we went out for new years and it was lovely!
Overall we had a wonderful experience, the food and atmosphere were great. This was our second time visiting the restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Our only complain is that the staff seemed to be very overwhelmed, our server had other 10 tables. Despite being overwhelmed he was very pleasant
The ambiance was great, and the food was delicious!
I loved it!! In my group of four there were also two non vegan/vegetarian, that had the best burger ever and we're happy beyond expectations.
I highly recommend Blossom on Columbus.
cool spot , yummy plant based food
Impressing out-of-town guests; experience was flawless... 🙏
Outstanding! Everyone found something delicious—vegan and non!
Delicious vegetarian fair and attentive service
My wife and I enjoy the one in Chelsea... so when we got tickets to the Beacon, we asked some non-vegan friends to join us. They were so amazed by the food... as were my wife and I. Will def go back!
I'm always happy with everything at Blossom and so are my guests. Delicious. Service caring and you would never know it's Vegan! I bring many people here. Happy it's in my neighborhood!
Been here before and was amazed & my boyfriend and I decided to grab a late night dinner after a show that ran late... bad idea. I ordered the Seitan piccata that came but hard and stale. I asked to reorder something else as that would not satisfy my appetite. The waiter was very easy going about it (as we were one of the last couple of guests left) switched it for me to the magherita pizza which is what I got the first time I’ve been here and knew it was a safer choice as they were getting ready to close. It was a better option. Overall great restaurant in food, service, & the best advice I’d give is to not go in half an hour before they close because you’ll get the worse options.
Overall good food and great service. This time I had the pizza and unfortunately the “cheese” was so runny it was hard to keep it on the crust.
Beautiful wines from Israel and out of this world mushroom ravioli. Cannot wait to come back.
Completely unimpressive. Sloppy cooking, lousy cocktails.
Our server barely came to table / we received great customer service from management and bar. Soy sausage stuffing came with no “sausage” the seitan dish was ok...not great though. Apps and Desserts amazing
Although we enjoy Blossom throughout the year, it is our "go to" spot for Thanksgiving. The choices for vegans and vegetarians are limited because most places have a special menu that is turkey-centered. At Blossom one can have a vegan meal that celebrates the day knowing that not a single feathers was ruffled in the process! I prefer the non- traditional/traditional Thanksgiving dinner with seitan and all the trimmings; my dining companion enjoyed the risotto.
Everything was tasty and we enjoyed the vegan lasagna, rigatoni and stuffed sweet potato. The seasoning was good; the potato was baked to be more soft than necessary. The appetizers were tasty - a deep fried cauliflower dish got the meal going in a good way. The service seemed rushed and our plates were whisked away almost as soon as put our forks down as if it were a lower-end restaurant and not the higher-end restaurant that Blossom appears to be from its price points and ambiance; we had really wanted to linger for a few extra minutes between the main course and dessert so that we could enjoy being together as a family on the evening before Thanksgiving. Prices seem higher than what I might have expected in light of the portion size (the peach cobbler, for example, was just a handful of spoonfuls) - is that because of a premium for being a vegan restaurant? I hope that this is constructive criticism - we would certainly come back and our vegan family members were especially happy to have free range over the menu.
Great vegan location on the upper west side.
My son has allergies to PN/TN/Egg and Fish-the staff was vERY accommodating and wonderful! Food was amazing for him my 9yo and US! We eat here every time we travel to the city
The food is great. I would say that the menu feels a little old fashion. Vegan food has moved on a lot.
Food was great! Drinks were amazing. Service was a little slow. My friend and I had to wait about 30 min to get our entrees.
Great food nice food, will go back
Lovely place, amazing food, good service, great ambiance
The sweet potato gnocchi were wonderful. Pizza was good. Cauliflower special was good. Desserts were bad. Host had a bit of an attitude but that's par for the course nowadays. Server was fine. We will not be in a hurry to return.
