Blossom - Aria Ratings and Reviews
Very expensive for what one gets! The beef in the Portobello Beef dish was not cut thinly enough and there seems to have been more mushrooms than beef. The Beef rolls were not as good as many Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. The Goose Liver dish had two tiny portions for $33! Tofu A M soup was $12 for a very small bowl and my wife (Shanghai) said it was only 一般般的。
Blossom is the best Chinese cuisine on the strip. The food is consistently excellent. The Peking duck was crispy and cooked to perfection. The potstickers and BBQ pork appetizers were great. Entrees of salt and pepper prawns was perfectly prepared, crispy and flavor. If you are looking for an upscale fine dining atmosphere, this is your spot.
I went to this restaurant about five years ago and decided to give it another try doing our birthday weekend. We had the Dumplings, Corn Chowder, Mongolian Beef, and Seafood Fried Rice. Everything was tasty, seasoned just right....it was so good. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for Asian Food in Vegas.
Overall my family and I really enjoyed our meal here, as they were very accommodating, friendly, and the food was excellent and genuinely upscale, albeit a bit pricey. The only negative was how pushy they can be with a couple of dishes. Instead of coming up from behind and saying we should order a specific dish, which we had to uncomfortably turn down a couple of times, they should ask if we have any questions or would like help picking items; however, I think they were just trying to be friendly, but the approach was not correct, which may be a cultural thing.
Blossom is a higher price point for elegant Chinese cuisine. There were some well cooked dishes like the sauteed veggies and the crispy eggplant app. The barbecue duck was wonderful. However, the pork spare ribs were too sweet and had very little smoky flavor you associate with char siu barbecue. Mapo tofu had an orange hue sauce that was not really as greasy and spicy as the dish needs in order to be remembered.
Many others have pointed out that the service is very rushed and inconsiderate. A couple of times I had to tell the server not to take the plate as my father in law was eating off of it.
When the lobster fried rice came my father in law noticed a particularly chewy piece of lobster that turned out to be mint gum! The manager was called in an they offered a bottle of wine or free apps which I don't think is enough for half eaten gum in a dish. Especially in a casino where moderate gamblers are comp-ed meals, paying for the meal would have been the appropriate response.
We have been to this restaurant on 2 previous occasions and the food and service were impeccable both times. This visit was such a different experience and such a disappointment. I was with 5 other people and told them repeatedly how wonderful the food was. When we arrived we were told that the kitchen was under construction so it would take longer than normal. I ordered what I had previously eaten and could not have been more disappointed. The steak was well done and tough and it was a completely different dish than before. If a restaurant can't maintain quality while renovating then they should temporarily close during renovation. We will not be returning.
Landed in Vegas past dinnertime and was looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant. Came across Blossom and we ordered the $89 Peking Duck set which include a whole roasted duck with pancakes. Duck was so juicy and the way the pancakes were prepared by the waitress, every combination wrapped in it makes so good. If you're looking for a great not just good Chinese restaurant in Vegas, Blossom is the place to go. Excellent ambience and private tables.
The service was good, they mentioned something about the kitchen being in a different location which was weird because it it didn't seem to make a difference in terms of when we got our food. The food was very tasty but a little bit on the pricey side overall delicious food but the restaurant was a little quiet
This place is one of my favorite in the world. The cuisine is so unbelievably flavorful and fresh quality. The ambiance is lovely and the service is impeccable. I spilled wine on my blouse and the manager came over with sparkling water, napkins, and a special spray to remove wine stains from clothing. They are so attentive and the meals are outstanding. The crab fried rice is the best I've ever had and the sea bass with black bean sauce on tofu is memorable. I'll eat here for the rest of my life as long as it's open.
This is one of my go-to restaurants in Vegas if you like Chinese menu. The food is exceptional and we have never been disappointed with the quality. It is fairly dark and subdued so whilst good for a range of audience, probably better suited to adults and quieter groups. Menu is extensive but pricey which is probably why I have never seen it full. I have booked every time for between 2 and 8 people and am always told there are only a few remaining tables but have never found this to be the case. If you go here, spend the time to enjoy it properly, don't make it a pre-theatre stop.
