Blossom - Aria Ratings and Reviews
Food is okay, fits most dinners, just about 100% authentic, but not exactly. services are average, polite staff, but not as competent. brought over wrong tea after sending over a bottle of sparkling water by mistake. It is pricey, about $80 per person without alcohol drinks.
We came here specifically for the crab and were disappointed to find they were out. We ordered drinks, and again the drink I wanted was not available as they had run out of the ingredients. So we ordered the typical Chinese dishes which they would surely have only at a higher price. The food was decent, but nothing mind-blowing. And it was rather irritating that our waiter was so smug about telling us we were too late for the crab and when we said we needed more time to select different dishes he disappeared. Finally after sitting for at least 10 minutes someone else came and took our order. The only way I would return here is if it were early and I was told they still had crab. Otherwise it's not worth the time or price.
I will definitely go back
This time was a bad experience
Went to get the Peking Duck ...and told the waitress that that was the only reason we were there
Granted we didn't formally order but told her in great detail what we wanted since there was only two of us and that a lot of duck
After a drink and ordering she said someone had just ordered the last one!!!!
So it ruined the evening
That being said....we will probably go back
It was just one of those disasters
Fabulous Chinese food, the Peking duck was super done of the best I have tasted. For the main my wife and I shared the beef tenderloin and black pepper sauce.........it was excellent. The staff are so attentive a great restaurant will definitely comeback on our next trip to Vegas.
We don't eat huge portions but love crispy duck which is on the menu, having chosen to start with this we discussed same with the manager , he advised against following this with two further main courses, as he felt we would be 'outfaced'.We followed his advice and chose one main course and a rice dish ,boy was he right. The duck in pancakes is not like in the UK, you get a while duck between 2 for a start, the breast meat is prepared on a plate for inclusion into you pancake and then the rest of the duck follows this chopped Into sections. It was delicious, it's expensive but the what isn't in Vegas, but worth every dollar.
The food is truly Asian. And the food comes out quick like a professional Asian restaurant in Asia! Try the steam live fish. Although it can be costly, but it's fresh and taste great. Definitely a come back when I am in Vegas.
The service is great, the staff are very attentive and try to accommodate your requests.
Wow - The food was fantastic and beautifully prepared and served. The waiter we had was hands down the best waiter I have ever had. They were so accommodating - even made me a pair a chopsticks with a band to hold them together. Service was impeccable. Presented my mother with a birthday dessert and parting gift. It was lovely.
Amazing food and service. The hot and sour soup was great, as was the beef tenderloin with scallions. The chocolate creme brûlée was phenomenal. It was served in a very unique fashion and it was the best dessert I've ever eaten, hands down. Even though I was dining alone, the wait staff was attentive and very friendly throughout the service. I will be back the next time I am in Vegas.
We had a party of 8 and the manager put us in the small private room with a large table with a lazy Susan. Our waiter suggested a family style meal that included appetizers, chicken, shrimp, beef(2 ways), pork(2 ways), a whole Maine lobster and a Peking duck. I'm not usually a fan Chinese but it was the best meal I had in a very long time. A must if having dinner in Las Vegas. I've never been a fan of duck but they prepared it fantastically and it was gone when the meal was over.
I've eaten at Blosom a half dozen times since they opened with Aria, each visit extraordinary, each high quality, each with amazing superior food and service - until - this past visit. I'm not sure if there is new management, or a new chef or what is going on, but the experience was underwhelming, the food just average, reservations not available until 6:00 pm (used to be 5:00) and they no longer give those little gift boxes with tea and Asian cookie at the end of the meal - they may think the details don't matter, but they do. So I may give them one more chance, thinking that on my visit things went horribly wrong, but I am not optimistic. A tragic experience for a venue of such beauty and potential, I want to think they just had an off night, or I was terribly unlucky, we'll see....
This was my third or fourth visit to Blossom. I was very excited to take my husband as this was his first visit. We had the beef and broccoli and the Kung Pao chicken. The meat was very very tender and the broccoli was cooked just right. Both dishes for something that I could get in my hometown for one fourth of the price. My visits in the past, I remember the food being much better. The service is always impeccable. My husband ordered coffee with his dessert it was so bad he sent it back and he has never ever sent any coffee back in his life. He told me it tasted like it had been sitting on the burner continuing to cook for several hours. So the food was average but the service was extraordinary.
We've been to Blossom three times and have always enjoyed the quality service and outstanding cuisine. Our most recent visit was on our anniversary. They sat us at the best seat in the house and went the extra mile to make our experience enjoyable.
This was easily the worst dining experience ever in Las Vegas! This restaurant needs new management. I counted 11 times that people walked by our table without carrying anything. We did not get the food we ordered and what we did get was lukewarm. The waiter was completely clueless. This place does not belong in Aria or in Las Vegas. I wouldn't even consider ever going back!
Went for the Peking Duck which didn't disappoint! It was amazing and a real treat to see it cut and served correctly. The flavor was excellent. Blossom also has black sea cucumber! A rare find, on the menu you'll see it in the hot pot but you can order it separately. The fried silken tofu was also very good. The ambiance was lovely and it's very classy, though we did see many other patrons there eating a casual meal. Great for Chinese groups looking for speciality authentic dishes, the staff also speaks Mandarin. I'll be back for sure.
