Blossom - Aria Ratings and Reviews
This place is one of my favorite in the world. The cuisine is so unbelievably flavorful and fresh quality. The ambiance is lovely and the service is impeccable. I spilled wine on my blouse and the manager came over with sparkling water, napkins, and a special spray to remove wine stains from clothing. They are so attentive and the meals are outstanding. The crab fried rice is the best I've ever had and the sea bass with black bean sauce on tofu is memorable. I'll eat here for the rest of my life as long as it's open.
This is one of my go-to restaurants in Vegas if you like Chinese menu. The food is exceptional and we have never been disappointed with the quality. It is fairly dark and subdued so whilst good for a range of audience, probably better suited to adults and quieter groups. Menu is extensive but pricey which is probably why I have never seen it full. I have booked every time for between 2 and 8 people and am always told there are only a few remaining tables but have never found this to be the case. If you go here, spend the time to enjoy it properly, don't make it a pre-theatre stop.
The atmosphere was wonderful, a nice quiet place for a special occasion dinner or a romantic dinner. We had the potsickers, the chow mein, the szechuan shrimp and the mongolian beef. I thought the potstickers were delicious, found the chow mein and the mongolian beef a little bland. The restaurant serves little dishes of chile paste and soy sauce w/sliced jalapenos on the table and I found myself using the seasonings a lot. Otherwise, it is an elegant, beautiful restaurant.
BLOSSOM WAS A PLACE WE HAD WANTED TO GO AS WE HAD BEEN TO OTHERS IN ARIA. THE SERVICE FELT RUSHED ,LIKE THEY WERE TRYING TO HURRY US OUT AND YET OUR 2ND ROUND OF DRINKS TOOK ALMOST HALF AN HOUR TO GET US. BY THE TIME WE GOT THEM THE ICE HAD WATERED THEM DOWN. THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND GREAT CHOICES BUT WAS WAY TO OVERPRICED AS WERE THE DRINKS , $17 FOR AN OLD FASHION COME ON . I CAN SAY I HAVE BEEN THERE AND WOULD STOP THERE. I WOULDNT TELL ANYONE TO GO UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO SPEND WAY TO MUCH FOR YOUR MEAL .
I was pretty disappointed. For such a pricey menu I expected a better-tasting meal. Don't get me wrong, the food was good; just not worth what it cost.
AND: Bar Masa in the Aria had a better selection of beer and sake. Bar Masa had a Chinese brew called Lucky Buddha (delicious German-style lager) and they're a Japanese restaurant. Blossom, the Chinese restaurant in the Aria, did not!
So a Frenchman, a Southerner and a Yankee walk into a Chinese restaurant. It made for some entertaining exchanges while ordering from the Chinese waiters, but by the end of the night we all understood each other just fine. Excellent for a business dinner or time with friends. Food was very good.
We ate at Blossoms two years ago, and although we were here last for a Thanksgiving Holiday the year after that, we could not make it to Blossoms due to a traveling partner's allergies. They fall over you hand and foot here. Extremely respectable and friendly, the food is par with upscale Chinese dining, and never a regret on anything we've had there. Have them recommend the Sake's...they are great tasting, and excellent at their recommendations. Nothing to worry about in this place.
I enjoyed the restaurant but the prices are quite high. We had 3 dishes we shared and the bill was $100. We did split a beer that was priced at $14. It was a larger bottle but was surprised it was so expensive. They should maybe have early bird specials to lower the prices and maybe they could get a lot more diners in here. The service is great but the price point might prevent me from returning.
Our dining at blossom was fantastic. The food was delicious we enjoyed potstickers, beef and broccoli and Mongolian beef and added chicken and shrimp fried rice. Everything was exceptional. The service was fantastic, the ambience was very lovely.
This is definitely a restaurant to visit.
The food was quite excellent. The staff were friendly. But it is quite obvious that the restaurant caters to a predominately foreign, Asian crowd. Thus, Anglo-Americans are treated a bit second class. That is a bit strange for a United States restaurant. I understand that they should cater to the clientele that dominates the restaurant. But the should not ignore the Americans who wish to enjoy this America. Restaurant.
Very nice restaurant with authentic Chinese food. Service was great and attentive. We had 7 people and We got the lobster,Peking duck, lettuce cups, Noodles , sea bass, beef, Kung pao chicken and 2 veggie dishes. Everything was tasty and nicely prepared and presented. It's just high priced but, hey, this is Vegas! And I will be coming back to try other dishes.
Kenny & Gwenolyn were outstanding! They always made sure we were taken care of and our drinks stayed replenished. Only talked to our actual server at the beginning to place our order and at the end when he handed us our bill..... which was a little odd. LUCKILY Kenny and Gwen surpassed our service expectations!
Beautiful setting, great service and delicious food (with great presentation). Nice sized portions, which was a surprise for upscale Chinese. The restaurant has very high ceilings, but somehow it still felt cozy. We had a relaxed and lovely dinner. Highly recommend!
Outstanding service, everyone was so helpful. Lychee Martini was fantastic. Lobster Fried Rice was the best fried rice we have EVER HAD! We also had the schezwan shrimp, which was good. We ordered the Ice Fish appetizer, which we unfortunately did not eat. It was a plate of many whole fish...eyes, scales, tails, and spines. It was presented nicely, but we did sent it back. Sorry- I hate to be wasteful (or culturally rude), but we did not know it was the whole fish. Other than the appetizer- dinner was great. Nice secluded, quiet spot in Aria. I also received a pineapple cake/tea sampler gift when we left. Not sure if that is standard or not. Would eat here again.
