Usually I like the Chop House. This day, I ordered the sunfish sandwich and was not impressed. The toppings were good, but the fish itself was very dry and had way too much breading on it. I would not order that again.

House for the first time for restaurant week. We highly recommend their signature items of French onion soup and lobster pasta . With a great beer selection, we will definitely be back for food and beverage.

We ate a breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the course of a 3 day stay and all meals were very good. A breakfast sandwich was off menu, but accommodated. The burgers and fish for lunch were tasty. Much to our delight the steaks exceeded expectation and the desserts were yummy. Service provided by Annette was beyond caring as she treated us like family.

The food was great but the service was just ok. We went on a Wednesday night and they weren't busy but we still had to wait a long time for drinks and refills during dinner.

We went to the Thanksgiving Buffet and despite being busy the staff was attentive and the food was outstanding. We will make a point of going again and trying the regular menu.

Nice ambiance, nice staff, server was ok but could have paid us a little more attention. The surf and turf was a great price, the brussel sprouts could have been cooked longer and they didnt have much flavor. The filet was medium rare when asked for medium well, they put it in the microwave to finish cooking it then a different person came by and asked how the "re-fire" was... unusual for someone to use a kitchen/cook term to a customer (we knew what she meant cuz we work in the industry). The drinks were good, but we were not asked if we wanted another. Also the server practically threw the steak knife at us so she could get to her next table. Overall pretty good... we might go back, but not soon.
My Sazerac cocktail was great. Our steaks were a bit disappointing for the price. My wife commented that she prefers steaks made at home on the grill. The mashed potatoes were cold. Not a bad meal, but not up to expectations for a pricey steak restaurant
We had the prime rib with a caeser salad and it was amazing! Very flavorful and tender. Service was great, restaurant was very clean and just a wonderful place.

Host, hostess, support staff were all apathetic in their efforts. There was no friendliness or care in greeting, seating, serving or leaving. Ran out of water for a while, service on dessert was really slow. Apple crisp obviously re-heated at least once (maybe more). Left with a bill of $102 with tax and tip. Felt like the experience was worth half of that - max. I will activity suggest friends do not visit.
I went with a friend to try out the Chophouse for Resturant Week and was not disappointed in our experience there.
We sampled the crab cake and french onion soup for starters. Both were very delicious though the soup was perhaps a little too hot coming out. I would still highly recommend both but perhaps start by sharing the crab cake and then the soup afterwards.
For entrees we had the salmon and Filet with the mac and cheese add on. The bottom melted cheese on the mac and cheese was very hot again but it was delicious. Both entrees were done with care and precision.
Finally for the dessert portion we shared the apple crumble and flourless espresso torte. These were a resounding success to put a bow on the whole meal especially the torte which was both of our favorites. The best i could explain it was like the softest fudge you could imagine with a hint of espresso to give you a pick up so you don't fall asleep at the table in happiness.

This was my second time to dine here. Very nice that it was in the hotel as we were able to host a business dinner and not have to drive anywhere after. A little on the pricey side given some of the other options available in the area. The steaks were very good, the halibut was not as good as I had hoped. Overall though I would go back and would recommend.
