Always an enjoyable experience, menu's are great, I am coming back this week. Clients/friends/family enjoy the experience of seeing the students learning, the price can't be beat. See you again soon!
I was very impressed with the level of service, cooking and presentation by these students. They are well on their way to becoming accomplished practitioners in the restaurant business. The food was outstanding -- pork was about as tender as I've ever tasted (and locally sourced), and the battered fish was super light. Overall an excellent dining experience. Will definitely go back and check out their new space when it's complete.
Excellent food, great service, tremendous value.
Enjoyed my lunch with my daughter. She had never been to Blooms and found the food and atmosphere very good.
The lamb was the best lamb that I have ever had! Everything was outstandingly good and delicious!
we really enjoyed tbe meal at blooms since a good friend of ours was a student in tne cullinery program and also was one of our servers. It is great that they get to make the food and serve it as well. the food was very deliciuos
Lunching with an old friend was made an enjoyable experience. Nice atmosphere and not too noisy for those of us who prefer a quieter ambience. As always, the menu was inviting and the quality of the food and its presentation very good.
I brought my Conestoga College business student daughter to Bloom to celebrate a great mark that she achieved. The food was excellent. We each ordered something different and we were very pleased with the flavour and presentation of our appetizers, dinners and dessert.
The atmosphere was very calm and quiet, with the lighting dimmed to create a nice ambiance. We were easily able to converse. The hostess and wait staff were very accommodating. I'll recommend Bloom to my friends. Thanks for making our celebration such a success.
The food was excellent. The service was good, but it seemed to us that the servers were nervous and although it did not detract from our dining experience, it was noticeable.
Best deal in town. High class.
Great ambiance. Amazing, tasty and good quality food. Great to see students learn how to host within a restaurant and teaching setting. Amazing experience overall.
Great experience for the diners and educational for the students. Very unique.
First time at BLOOM, and we were quite impressed. Even the inexperience of the server was delightful - as he had a good sense of humor. Will return.
I know the serving staff is all cuisine students. So it's hard to be tough on them. But some should know some basics of the process before their turn in the dining room. When to clear things off the table, warning of very hot plates when they come out...
Otherwise the food was incredible and we'll very happily be back next month.
This was our third visit at Bloom and both the service and the meal were excellent.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's lunch. The food and ambience was good. Although this was a college restaurant the students serving were very nervous and lacked personality. It was very difficult to understand what they were saying, quiet with a heavy accent.
I would definitely recommend eating there and we look forward to our return.
We have never had a bad meal or poor service totally excellent experience. Student are exceptional friendly and while food is not extravagant or pretentious it is delicious and always very good. This I best value for money in KW region bar none.

A great experience!
Great meal with very attentive service. Will definitely be back
I have dined at Bloom a number of times. Lunch at Bloom with a friend on January 30th was a very pleasant way to celebrate a milestone birthday. The caesar salad was second to none according to my companion and was certainly excellent. The butternut squash and goat cheese ravioli with brown butter and sage sauce was really good, if a tad salty for those of us on reduced sodium diets. Service was both friendly and attentive. I will be dining with other friends at Bloom in a few weeks and will certainly recommend the restaurant to others as a place to try new dishes at very reasonable prices, with the expectation that service will be friendly and attentive.
An excellent lunch once again at Bloom. The cauliflower veloute was silky smooth and delicious, served in a heated bowl. The beef tenderloin was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. I ended the meal with a lovely gateau St. Honore. Great service and excellent quality and value.
Our servers Arlene and Amanda were friendly and added to our enjoyment of our meal. They provided excellent service.
Food was very good and really enjoy the variety offered. A great opportunity to try new things. Servers were very nice but very shy and soft spoken without a lot of interaction and conversation. ( also realize it is new and they will do great once a comfort level is reached) they were all very attentive keeping a watchful eye on the tables and clearing empty plates. I look forward to your dinners beginning in January and will certainly return. Are gift certificates available?
I have been to Bloom about 6 or 7 times, each time was enjoyable, it is sweet to observe and provide positive feedback to the aspiring students. But this Oct 2017 visit we were very delighted that the late session students were preparing our lunch. The food taste and presentation was second to none. IT WAS DELICIOUS, beyond expectations.
The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back.
The food was fantastic. The potato and leek soup is still a fond memory for me. The only complaint was that it took a bit longer than I expected. For a lunch you really need to allow 2 hours.
I did leave a comment form after dining so won't repeat here other than to say the time between placing our orders and receiving our meals was inordinately lengthy. It was delicious and hot when served though.
My boyfriend and I are both Conestoga alumni and have wanted to try Bloom for some time. We like that it was inside of the school. Service was friendly, though we did have to wait a bit long for the entrees. Any issues we had with the food were minor. Tart shells could have been flakier. The soup bowl was a bit large for the serving size. Overall a fantastic experience. The price is beyond reasonable for the quality of food and service. We have recommended Bloom to our friends and we will definitely be back!
Food was great but it was a little unappetizing to be served cheese and nuts with the server's fingers. The buffet was a bit confusing as they put the appetizers and main dishes out all at once so we weren't sure if we were supposed to take both courses at the same time. Would have been nice if our server had let us know.
Excellent place for lunch or dinner. Attentive waiters/quality cuisine/nice ambiance.
My husband and I ate at Bloom on Thursday March 9, 6PM seating. We were greeted in the hallway which was nice, as we were a bit lost. We were welcomed warmly and our coats were promptly checked. We were shown to our table, and given the menu. The ambiance was lovely - considering we are in a school, we felt the staging was well done. Perhaps sitting closer to the kitchen and bar we’d have had a better sense of restaurant though. The service was prompt and courteous. There were people who served water, brought bread, etc. Overall impression was that they worked well as a team and were learning how to work in the industry, so our expectations were adjusted.
The food was very good, the leek soup was delicious and perfect temperature. My husband ordered the pork and really enjoyed it, I had the fish which was overcooked but edible. Everything else was delicious. The lemon meringue pie for dessert has a thin, crispy crust, which was not my preference, but it was still very good.
Our expectations were lowered as this is a school and all members are there to learn.
We ordered the special cocktail and beer to drink. The drink prices were very reasonable and tasty too.
Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and we would go back, both for a nice dining experience at a reasonable price and to support the local college students. Well done Bloom!
Bloom is a great restaurant to get a good meal at a good price while having the opportunity to support the local college We highly recommend it
Servers were pleasant but could have benefited from some supervision. e.g. butter was placed in front of one customer looking like it was being served to her only. It would be courteous to inform customers that there is an extra change for sparkling water and coffee. Overall the food was excellent and it was a very good experience!
An interesting experience to support the next generation in the restaurant industry. All good, slight polish needed for simple things but nothing worth writing about. Great flavour and thought into meal planning.
I have been to the restaurant twice with friends, both times were very enjoyable with very good food and a nice selection to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I like the option to book on line. I will be back.

Food was well prepared. Atmosphere was relaxing and great for quiet concersation. Had some constructive feeback but sent to the director of Bloom. Was and overall charming experience.
First time experience. I was interesting to see how students do in a real life and the food was good. Nothing really special tho.
Excellent meals served with class the way I remember it in European fine restaurants. Not like the lower class found in so called high end Canadian restaurants. It's also great to meet the students.
Restaurant was very accommodating. I mentioned I did not want gluten and they went out of their way to accommodate my preference. Excellent restaurant, would highly recommend.
I've been to Conestoga Bloom at least a dozen times and have loved every minute! I also send teams and groups for lunches and they all come back amazed. The students work hard to impress and do an excellent job. It's just as good as any other 5 star restaurant in Kitchener Waterloo.
