A major disappointment. After going to the Blind Dog for years as our sushi restaurant of choice, I was disappointed to find that the sushi menu had been drastically reduced. More importantly, the quality of the sushi has horrible. The rice was poorly prepared (too dry) and the rolls poorly wrapped. I've had better sushi from grocery stores. My wife had the poke bowl which was also a major disappointment. While I might go back to Blind Dog, it wouldn't be for sushi and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. All that said, the service/waiter was quite nice and efficient - doesn't make up for mediocre food though.
Ski trip with friends
Food and service were outstanding! Don’t miss the ahi nachos
Service was good until it got busy then they forgot about us completely. Food is good. Seafood is great. Love the atmosphere and story behind the place!
We were here during Sundance and this in now hands down my favorite spot in Park City! It’s beautiful. Staff is OUTSTANDING and the food is just amazing!!! We had everything. Veggies, fish, sushi.. 5 star!!!!
We loved this place so much we returned 4 days later. Great flavors and variety. Awesome service. Will definitely be back.
love the place .staff was friendly,\. great and diverse menu. bring back dream loaf
The Sommelier was excellent!
Lovely ambience, delicious meals.
Pricey, nice for specual occasions.
The hostesses were INCREDIBLY rude and unwelcoming. The food was mediocre and overpriced. We were severely disappointed and embarrassed to take our out-of-town guests to this establishment.
Just plain wonderful! Delicious! Creative!
Welcoming! Great Service!
We’ve been going for 11 years and the food is always fantastic! Also, great for just drinks and bartenders are the best!!
Everything from our waiter, the food to the ambience was delicious! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re visiting Park City.
We had the U10 Diver Scallops and Albacore Steak, both were amazing. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.
Very slow service, some items were forgotten from our order, had to enlist the managers help to get some semblance decent service (he was wandering around checking on people so I kept asking him for various things that waitress just couldn’t seem to find time to bring). We were told that one of our desserts would be free for the birthday we were celebrating but it showed up on our bill. The food was good but the menu was hard to understand. Simple is better than a large menu with fancy and difficult to understand descriptions and attempts at witty headings. Not my best experience for a $500+ evening.
great service and fantastic food. The Bakes are great. The Sushi is always killer and there is something for everyone on the menu!
The food not from the sushi bar was great! My parents ordered the caprese salad with burratta and tomatoes. And they ordered the salmon, which was good. Our kids got the shrimp tenders, tater tots, and mashed potatoes- all very good. My husband and I ordered four different sushi and they were not great. I ordered the yellowtail scallion roll and one with blue crab in it and tobika on top. My husband ordered two spicy rolls- one was overpoweringly hot to the point where he couldn’t eat it. Next time, we will order from the regular kitchen, not the sushi kitchen.
My feeling is that Blind Dog is trying to do too much by offering Sushi and Seafood. In years past they were a steak and chop restaurant, and they have a good offering of Seafood and this suits them now, but I cannot be excited by seafood flown in daily in Utah, when restaurants on both coasts have fresh caught every day. The restaurant offers a pleasant change from the other establishments in the area and we go back yearly when we visit Park City and obviously has good management given it's staying power, but it is nothing special or a destination spot for dining
The Best Sushi and team with great ownership. Blindog Rocks
Newbie waiter, began by explaining pitfalls of restaurant’s two-kitchen system. Service slow and inattentive. Food diversity is huge but ultimately tries to do too much; actual dishes were cold and not that interesting, although flamboyantly described. Would not go back.
We were a party of 8. Food came out on time, service was great, Appetizers, entrees were all perfect. Wines were moderately priced, everyone had an enjoyable time.
Todo excelente, carta variada y excelente servicio
We were big fans of the prior location and the feel of the restaurant. The new iteration is colder and impersonal with the big rooms, high ceilings and industrial vibe.
My sushi was good but my husband’s pork chop was dry and tasteless. For a restaurant which is labeled a “seafood” re are surprisingly few fish options and pretty ordinary fare.
We went to the Bond dog at 8:00 with our reservation and greeted very pleasantly at the front desk. They have a coat check with is nice for coats. We were seated at our table and waited our server. We had Sean and he was an awesome server and very knowledgeable about the
Don't know what took us so long - excellent food (try the "fried" chicken which is first sous vide and then lightly breaded and pan fried). So succulent and flavorful. The Ahi nachos starter was deliciously acidic and the perfect amount. The cioppino had excellent depth of flavor. Finally topped off the meal with the "bananas foster bread pudding". Scrumptious as you may imagine from the name. Our server Jesse just made the experience! He will give you a bird's eye view of the menu, describing some of the favorites in helpful mouth-watering detail in a fun charming way. Enjoy!
This place is amazing - such a hidden gem! Such a great menu selection and everything we ordered was delicious. Our waiter and the hostess were so kind and attentive too! Can’t wait to come back
Excellent service, great menu recommendations from our server.
Probably the best all around meal we had in PC... Great menu full of seafood options and asian inspired dishes, scallops and the seafood bake were great burger was solid... a little outside of main street, but worth the short extra drive and it makes prices more reasonable as well
Consistently great. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa++++++++++++++++*+*+*+*++++++++++++
The quality of the service was exceptional. The waitress knew the menu and accurately described the dishes. She warned us that they have two kitchens, raw vs cooked, and things may come out as they were ready and not necessarily coordinated between the two. I think it was refreshingly honest and a good policy for the freshest entrees and no risk of cross contamination.
I have the meatloaf. OMG, it was heavenly!! I'd definitely order again and again! The beet salad was also amazing, far better than the beet salad I had at another highly rated local restaurant. And the size was substantial, not 4-5 bits of beet in a pretentious setting.
Great after a day on the slopes.
Kate was awesome and food is superb.
I recommend fir large groups and foodies.
My wife and I were amazed at the freshness and quality of the food, the preparation and the flavors of everything we ordered. It’s difficult to run a quality seafood restaurant in the middle of the Rocky Mountains., They have succeeded,
and met the high bar set in park City -Deer Valley for high quality cuisine. I am proud to reccomend
them as a great example of the
excellence we have in this little ski
Town from which to choose.
This was our favorite meal of the trip. The staff is full of people with dry, keen senses of humor, which I love. Our server was smart, efficient, also gifted with an off-the-wall sense of humor. And of course, most important, the food was amazing. I can't think of one "but" to add. It was spot on.
So close to being very good. My steak was served cold, and it was too loud to hold a conversation across the 6-person round tables; they were too big.
Great hostess! Great atmosphere for a family dinner or friends get together- the sushi was very good and steak make perfect
Great service! Great vibe! Loved it!!!
This restaurant is very good. Unfortunately for us the noise level was quite high. Seated next to a table with seven children sitting together using their utensils for banging instruments. Ruined our dinner but have to say the staff did try to quiet the situation. Not the fault of the restaurant but totally ruined our night. Will eat there again and hope for a different experience
Great food for large groups and service was very good. My family had sushi and it was excellent!
Been there a ton of times and always the best restaurant experience in Park City!
