bermuda onion, english cucumber, daikon, wakame, sesame oil, tobiko, hawaiian sea salt
cucumber, salmon and avocado with crunchy sweet onion and unagi sauce
burgundy beets, watermelon radish, pickled red cabbage, bermuda onion, scallions, sesame, tamari emulsion
Great spot for dinner while on ski trip. Great gluten free options!!
Creative cuisine of consistently high quality. Never disappoints.
Thank you Robin!
The Blind Dog was recommended to me by a friend. The food and service lived up to expectations.
Really enjoyed the food. My wife had a wonderful halibut and I had the lobster/crab roll. However, the service was very slow. We waited over 15 minutes at the table before our server even approached us.
Michael, so glad you enjoyed your halibut and lobster roll. We are disappointed to read that your service was slow. Feel free to contact us to give us a few more details. We always strive to to improve our service.
By far the least favorite of the restaurants we visited in Park City. The average food was overshadowed by the exorbitant prices. Small crab cake appetizer for $18. Mac and Cheese for $22. 4X retail markups on everything on the wine list. Service was ok but the waitress lost interest in us once she figured out we were not going to run up a massive bill. To top it off their small parking lot is 90% valet only. Of course all the non-valet spots were full because people realize it is stupid to have the valet take your car and move it 10 feet to park it. If you like to be ripped off then you may like this place but there are so many better places to eat in Park City.
Dan, we were disappointed to read your review but we would like to clarify a few items. Through the years we haven't changed the size of the crab cakes, 4 oz or the quality of of our product. We don't increase prices for the high season and we have a great local following. We took the initiative to offer COMPLIMENTARY valet parking for our guests since the pavement can be icy. You are entitled to your opinion, but we strongly disagree. And your server struggled with your attitude or lack of.
Food was great. Waiter was so-so, but that was the only negative.
We will work on the service side of things. Thank you for letting us know!
Tuna nachos were outstanding, great combo of flavors. Had the Halibut entree, also excellent.
You had two of our local favorites! Those tuna nachos are soooo popular! We hope to have you back again in the very near future.
Everything was excellent, except the noise level. If you like a loud “lively” environment then this was perfect. I don’t, ambient sound is very distracting to me. That aside, I would go back to the Blind Dog in a heartbeat. Food was delicious! Service was great! Our server, Micah, was attentive but not hovering. Explained the specials perfectly, answered all of our questions and was just a really nice guy. The sushi rolls (special roll of the day) were some of the best I’ve ever had. Salads at the table were all yummy and the halibut was fantastic. Great place for large groups, families or smaller tables like we had. We were supposed to be 4 but 2 of the people were an hour late to the reservation and they were accommodated beautifully and there was no problem for just the 2 of us being seated and served. We will definitely be back!
Micah is great, isnt he? We are so happy to hear your enjoyed your meal! You seemed to pick all of the local's favorites. We look forward to seeing you soon!
food was exceptional and great value. also service was fantastic.
Thank you, Kath!
Arrived early for a reservation and were seated quickly. The tuna hand rolls were very nice and the fresh fish main was also delightful. Other in our party had the Filet, which was pleasant but was ordered medium well and came out well. Not a big deal, but a slight Demerit.
Desserts are a must, the pineapple upside down cake is a good choice
Sorry about the Filet! We would have been more than happy to make another for you! So happy you enjoyed your visit!
Horrible service. Server asked for drink order. Didn’t bring drinks and then cane by 20 min later to ask again for the drink order. We ordered an appetizer which was never brought. Our mewl was served too soon. We asked where the appetizer was and the server said he didn’t realize we wanted it before dinner.
Hate to read this review! It seems you enjoyed the food you received. Please let us know when something like this happens. We always try to correct any situation. There is no excuse and we will talk to our staff!
Worth a visit while in Park city, food was excellent and the service was perfect and very comfortable. It was good value for the quality of the food and the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
Thank you Pam! We appreciate your review!
Always yummy, had sushi a day sashimi and hubby had the grouper
Thank you LeeLee! We are too happy to read your your review!
The food quality varied by person and dish but even if it had been 5 star cuisine, nothing would have redeemed the horrible service we received from our server Matthew. He seemed extremely flustered from the beginning event though there seemed to be only 3 average sized tables in his section. He shushed one of the people in our party when she attempted to ask a question about the appetizer menu & rolled his eyes multiple times. There was a feedback card included in our check so we filled it out but couldn’t find a manager to give it to. We gave it to another employee and advised them of our issues to which he responded “okay.”
Here’s to hoping you don’t have the same experience.
Wow! Reading your review was a shock! Matthew is usually a wonderful server. Guests rave about his attentiveness and ability to walk them thru the menu. We pulled him aside to read your review as well as our Manager on Duty. Both were surprised. We did get the guest card from our bartender, but nothing was filled out to explain to us what went wrong with you and your guests. Please feel free to contact us with details as to why Matthew failed to meet your expectations. We are always here.
We had a wonderful evening, great food, good service!
Thank you, Natalie!
We loved Blind Dog! The menu is extensive and varied and delicious; something for just about all. Our waiter was solicitous and helpful; he knows the menu inside and out, and was very accommodating. The decor is fabulous (we are huge dog people) and my only recommendation would be to swap out the hanging fish for some additional cool dog pics, but that's just me! (We know the owners caught those fish and should be proud😉).
We are always on the look out for great pieces of art! The fish are not only from our fishing days but remind us of our family's seafood restaurant on the East Coast. Thank you so much for the staff recognition. We all work together for a great experience.
Food was great - nice place! Would go back again aaaaa
Thank you !
Great restaurant. One of our favs at Park City. Not to stuffy but very classy and warm ambiance. Food was terrific and service is exceptional. Always glad to see a restaurant at this level not charge a fortune. Understand now why there is a long reservation list. Well done.
Thank you for you great review!
Staff are wonderful. Ambiance was fine. But the food just doesn't cut it. There is far too much fat added to every dish so you lose the flavor of the main ingredient. I found this to be the case at numerous places in Park City.
Thank you for your feedback Greg.
Terrible draft at the table coming from front entrance. Meatloaf was too salty. Lobster roll was a disappointment it should not be offered as a dinner entree more of a lunch item and very pricey.
Thank you for your feedback. We will look into your comments.
Willy was an excellent server and the food was outstanding
Thank you! Willy is great! We will be sure to let him know how great it is! And we always appreciate an"outstanding" review.
The food was fantastic - everything was extremely fresh and tasty. Our server, Nina, was amazing - really went above and beyond.
Thank you Danielle. We will let Nina Know how much you enjoyed her service.
It was hard to know whether I should give a 4 or a 5 for value as it IS a ski town after all. Everything was awesome, just a little on the high side in terms of prices.
We enjoy eating at Blind Dog when we are in Park City. The food is usually very good, very creative, and appeals to my vegetarian palate and my husband's meat cravings. The restaurant is very attractive, however, there are no tables for just two that are not in the middle of tables for four. If a person likes a little privacy, this is not the restaurant. The noise level, when there are lots of customers and children, is quite high. We could hardly hear each other above the constant noise. We were seated next to four people on each side of us, and they all had small children who were very loud.
The service was wonderful, and my husband had the Hamachi Kama, and it was excellent. My beet salad and redneck caprese were both very good.
Thank you Carol
Outstanding service, great food and great atmosphere👍. Will be back.
Thank you! We look forward to having you back!
We ate here last year and LOVED it. This year was VERY DIFFERENT. WAY TOO LOUD; impossible to have a table conversation. Also, last year the sushi offerings were OUTSTANDING. This year, there was hardly any sushi on the menu, except the "daily special" which was excellent. Our server didn't seam to care that we were not experiencing an excellent meal and environment which was very unfortunate.
We hate to see a poor review and we want you to know due to staffing, we decided we didn't want to offer an inferior product & took rolls away. We decided to keep all of our fantastic sashimi dishes, toro, the lollypop roll, tuna nachos, two daily special rolls and numerous crudos. The menu is still very impressive with the addition of numerous raw bar items. Yes, the noise level can be quite energetic. Please feel free to contact us at the office to tell us more about your level of service.
The food and drinks were good. This is a big place that can accommodate a lot of people.
She is a big girl. The more the merrier!
After numerous trips to Park city, this was our first visit to the blind dog. We loved it and would definitely go again!
Our door is always open! Thank you.
The food is excellent. We make sure we eat here every time we come to town. Very nice atmosphere.
We happened to sit next to people face timing their children. It was a table for 2 and the woman wanted to sit on the same side as her husband. She was not tiny. They were not friendly so it left us not having the greatest time
Oh no! That is unfortunate. Please let us know and we will always try to move you to a more comfortable table.
Repeat visit for us. Great venue in Park City with available parking on-site. Food is terrific with good vegetarian choices.
Thank you Steve!
Food was great! Accommodated my dietary restrictions!
We always try to accommodate any special dietary needs.
The oysters were as fresh as they get. Our server was friendly and professional. We had a great experience and will be back next ski season.
Thank you Edward!
We had a great time and a delicious dinner. The Blind Dog never disappoints!
Phenomenal food! Perfectly battered tempura. As good of sashimi as we have ever had. Great wine, beer, and cocktail selection. And how did they figure out how to make tater tots a culinary delight!? Highly recommend.
Thank you Jordan! We agree those Tater Tots are phenomenal. They are a result of a really good sense of humor and a little tongue in cheek for those who believe tater tots are white trash.
We have loved Blind Dog forever but when you just spent over $400 for dinner and they charge you for ICE... that’s ridiculous.
We have been coming to Blind Dog for many years during our ski vacation. Our server Matt (I think) was above excellent. We miss a bigger selection of sushi
Yes, we all miss the larger selection of rolls. The sashimi, lollypop roll, funky roll, and the roll of the night are still available. We agree Matt is fantastic!
We’ve been going to BD for years. Remember when it was just a hole in the wall restaurant. For me and my wife it’s an annual event when we are in PC.
The food is always great and the wine selection is top notch. I’m sorry they took sushi off the menu.
Maybe next year.
Thanks for your review! But we did not take off all of the sushi. Our fresh Sashimis are still available as well as the amazing Toro! The Lollypop Roll is still on the menu as well as the Funky Roll and we have numerous Rolls on special nightly. We also increased the number of options available in the Raw Bar! Typically we offer five different types of oysters nightly. We love our fresh fish and will always stay true to the classics! And you are right! Maybe in the spring!
