The food and service was excellent
I would recommend highly to anyone who wants great food and service
along with great view
Great ocean views and the food was perfect. Servic was what you would expect from a ritz property. We can't wait to get back!
Sat outside on patio was beautiful night with a full moon. Beet and goat cheese salad was delicious. Ordered the grouper special was wonderful. Service was very nice not rushed. Staff and manager were very attentive for the entire evening.
We chose to dine outside on the patio and enjoyed the gorgeous view combined with the tropical scents permeating the air at dusk. The food and the service were excellent. The lobster Mac and Cheese and the carrot cake were my favorite items.
Settled at a Table not set up for dinner for 4. Place setting for 2. Host did not notice. Server also did not notice. Had to ask for place setting for 2 when our meal was brought to table. Server kept coming to pick up our dinner plates before we had finished our meal. Felt rushed. We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. The experience was disappointing.
We dined at the restaurant for my wife's birthday. They created a memorable dining experience for her. The service was excellent and the food was great. We dined outdoors at the fire pit table, which created a romantic ambiance. I preordered a personal birthday cake for her, which ended the night with a bang.
Was a great dinner! However, not cheap. But well worth it!
Overall not what I expected from Ritz-Carlton restaurants. Food was bland and not cooked well. For the price I was extremely unhappy.
The outdoor dining offers a great view, the inside is a little noisy, the food is very good but the menu is very limited
We chose this restaurant because we stayed at the ritz. We looked forward to sitting outside at a fire pit listening to live music. We figured The setting would make u for the food. Unfortunately it outed the minute we got there so we sat inside. The menu is small, the portions are small and the prices are high. I ordered grilled shrimp and received about 6 small ones for over $30. It did not come with any sides. The server, the hostess and manager couldn't be more accommodating. If we had dined outside I think we would have overlooked the average food. Great setting but average food.
Walter Lisa the best reserve a fire pit table for special night with kids
Great ambiance. Would highly recommend for a romantic date night.
Sat outside with great views of the bay. Food was okay, not great. Nice touch the chef came by everyone's table to say hello.
Beautiful setting. Incredible view. But the food was overpriced for the quality.
A wonderful last night meal before returning to the states
We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and the Concierge highly recommended Bleuwater. I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was not good......too salty, cold and dry. We sent back most items, which we have never done in our lives! When I say too salty, I mean like someone accidentally dumped an entire container of Morton's salt. The fish of the day was dry and had no taste. My steak was cooked to perfection, but cold and mostly fat. The sides were ice cold when they arrived 5 minutes after the entrees arrived. The staff was very friendly. The music was too loud and you could not carry a conversation.
We did find the other restaurants to be delicious on the property.
All I can say is: very disappointing.
Great place for dinner. Great Food and Fantastic Chef....
Mediocre food. Confused servers. Not what you'd expect of a Ritz restaurant.
Good restaurant. Especially if you are staying at the Ritz Carlton or Ritz club. Service was slower than any of the other restaurants on the property, but the atmosphere was cool.
We would definitely return. We are a family of 5 with very different tastes and everyone found something they liked on the menu.
I would recommend requesting a table outside.
Love this place. We sat outside and enjoyed a dinner with the kids in a romantic setting.
We spent a week in St. Thomas from Christmas Eve until New Year's Eve. Of the many restaurants we visited Bleuwater was the worst. We were originally seated at the far end "for the view" which I am sure is beautiful during the day but one could see nothing at night and the wind there was bothersome. This area was nearer to the casual bar a few hundred yards away. The music from that bar was typical Caribbean steel band fare and it completely overpowered the live classical guitarist who was playing for the diners in our area. After requesting a table nearer the guitarist and less exposed from the wind we were more comfortable but the waitstaff was notably disinterested and poorly trained. They did, however, complement the food which lacked creativity and even with the simplest dish, grilled mahi, was dry and overdone. A much finer dining experience in that area can be had at the Sunset Grille and certainly better prepared fish at the very casual and funky "Fish Tails" in Red Hook. Don't waste your time or money at the Bleuwater, the worst experience we've ever had at a Ritz.
Best food we had on the island. We sat inside but I recommend sitting on the terrace.
The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. We had choices to sit outside by the water or inside with the a/c. The service was great and the waiter was very attentive. Our food came out amazing and promptly. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. Next time I'm in St Thomas I will be sure to eat there again.
Great time, great service, great company and great food.
A couple of us had the lobster Mac and cheese which was great, the seafood specials were outstanding - grouper and blackened snapper, filet was also excellent
Service was top notch
Great experience at the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, Bleuwater restaurant!
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was buffet style. There was at least 200 people in the restaurant and ONE turkey carving station, that made no sense by the time you got your turkey everything else on your plate was cold. The line was 25 deep and 20 min wait. The rest of the buffet was very well done they had cold apps and beautiful desserts. I know things are expensive at the Ritz but $125 per person for a buffet was very excessive in my opinion. It did not include any drinks so add on a couple of cocktails or a bottle of wine and you have a $700 Thanksgiving dinner for 4. Shame on me for not checking the price when I made the reservation. In my opinion it was definitely NOT worth the price!!! Many other options off property.
Service was exceptional. Food was amazing. Space was beautiful.
We ordered the lobster mac n cheese, filets and mashed potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great, ambiance was nice. Highly recommend this restaurant!
The experience was terrible and not indicative of the typical Ritz experience. The guard at the gate barely let our taxi in because she said that the Bluewater closed at 11 and didn't take reservations for breakfast. When we got to the restaurant the hostess/waitress told me that they were ready to close and tried to encourage me to go to another restaurant on the property, and then again argued with me that Bluewater did not take reservations for breakfast and that I must be mistaken. She did let us in and the food was mediocre at best (again, not your typical Ritz experience) and I even had to ask for a glass to get juice from the buffet. The entire attitude of the place was as if they were doing us a favor. Never would go back nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. The Marriott is a much better value (the Sunday breakfast/brunch buffet) and far superior in quality and variety. What a disappointment from a traditionally superior chain.
Went during the slow season, therefore it was quiet. Food, service....exceptional! I feel in love with the lobster mac/cheese....so much so, I had to go back twice. It was a starter, yet plenty for dinner. Can't say enough about it!
This restaurant was amazing!! The manager Lisa made our experience extra special on our wedding night. I highly recommend this and highly recommend the lobster Mac and Cheese.
A wonderful ambiance and food was simply delicious beautiful surroundings. Ritz-Carlton was as always, friendly without pretension beyond itself.
Fresh catch of the day was good. Highly recommend the Beet Salad
Simply the best fine dining experience on St Thomas & at the Ritz.
Dined here for dinner and breakfast. Both experiences were great. The fish and cuts were excellent, and the Virgin Islands Brewery's Summer Ale is highly recommended with any steak cut.
Great food and great service! Typically inflated resort menu prices.
Great service. Overall good food, however the steak is not New York Steakhouse quality.
Best meal we had on island! Superb all around.
Had to have dish sent back to have it cooked more. Had it a precious time and fixed perfectly.
