Beautiful spot overlooking the lake, delicious food, great service--try it!
We had Great service and the food was amazing. Will be going back for sure!
Nice ambience. Good seafood selection. Seems really pricy though.
Walking distance from where we were staying, this was an easy choice.
The service was impeccable, ambiance lovely and the food delicious!
My husband and daughter devoured the olives served when we were
seated. We each enjoyed the meal we choice, including oysters and salad,
fish and chips and a turkey BLT with an Old Bay Seasoning aioli!
the food was very good but the server was outstanding. very attentive and helpful without being intrusive.
We were given a private room for our party of 6. This made the experience lovely. The lobster roll and salmon were two of the favorites. Did not love the “redfish” however.
We really enjoyed our evening. The staff was very friendly especially our waitress. They food was AMAZING! We will highly recommended Bleu to our friends and family.
The atmosphere was perfect. They put us at a quiet table overlooking the lake. It was romantic and the food was excellent as always.
Good experience though a bit overpriced. Wine list was great!
It is a quiet atmosphere with very attentive yet friendly service and excellent food.
I'd been given a gift card to Bleu, and Saturday breakfast worked best schedule-wise for my wife and me. The dining area was quiet, which meant we enjoyed not only our food but also good conversation. All the staff were courteous and helpful--especially our waitress, Melissa, who was perfect! We also appreciated the convenient parking nearby.
I look forward to going there again!
Our server Jonathan added a great deal to our experience, made possible in part due to the small number of other tables being occupied. The menu is a perfect size, enough options but not overwhelming. The quality and portions are excellent, lighting is tasteful, and views over the lake are a nice plus.
was not impressed with waitressing service and on top of that bill came in with 20% service tip when i felt it was not worth leaving that tip much of tip based on service provided.
We wanted a brunch venue where we’d feel away for a few hours but close to home. Food choices were varied, coffee excellent, quiet table with views of Lake Champlain made a perfect time out for Sunday brunch. Prices were very reasonable!
Above average seafood restaurant. Decent menu variety. Quiet place with good service. I especially enjoyed the fried whole belly clam appetizer.
Great service, food, and ambience!
There is a double-edge sword with this restaurant. Pros - good seafood; enormous portions (I had two appetizers and couldn't finish. The clams were as bountiful as most other places' main dishes. Good duck confit. No children to speak of. Cons - cost; bar scene abuts and is noisy. forego the creme brulee cake.
Great seafood, lovely atmosphere, nice waitstaff, reasonable prices, nice wines, beer & cocktails.
The food was terrific: excellent oysters, amazing appetizers, good cocktails, delicious entrees and great desserts. Our waitress (Trish) was phenomenal - helpful, friendly, competent. We would definitely go back and would highly recommend it.
The three of us really enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent. My son’s steak was fantastic, my crab ravioli was yummy, and the scallops with pork belly especially good.
Terri waitress was the best. Fresh swordfish. Great wines
Dining at Bleu was a delightful experience—The meal was exquisite, the service impeccable, and the ambiance perfect for an evening out.
The staff was very friendly. Nice ambiance. Quiet... good for dining.
But the food-- for the price-- was not great. Pretty average.
Tasteful and comfortable decor. My group likes breakfast there. The menu is varied and full. Everything is prepared just fine. The waitstaff are helpful. We go back often.
Bleu was an excellent choice for dinner! The seafood was so incredible and between the appetizers, entrees, and desserts, we were both stuffed and incredibly delighted! It was delicious and although expensive, totally worth it!
This was not our first time at Bleu, we love it, everything about this place is amazing. We come every year for our anniversary and again they delivered. The crab ravioli is a great app to share for two, the smoked turkey BLT was great and ate the 2nd half as a midnight snack. My husband got the special, Monkfish! It was so delicious, the texture was perfect and the crispy beet chips was a perfect match! Fresh sorbet and a chocolate pot de creme to die for rounded out our night. Definality returning next year, or anytime I want to impress some out of towners.
Reservation was for 7, we appeared with 8. Not a problem! A few minutes and our table was transformed. They told us it would be tight, but it was really perfect - a nice round table too, so we could see and talk to everyone!
Wine and beer lists are great, and we had some of each.
Appetizers were creative - we had baked stuffed lobster , crab ravioli, scallops and pork belly, chowder - all great. Seafood ruled the table - swordfish, fish & chips, surf & turf, and a pasta dish. All great.
Our only complaint was the food was very slow coming out. Our server was great, very personable, but we really think she may have been the only one there. Having worked in the food service industry in the past, we were sympathetic. I don't know if other parties would have been.
We will definitely go again.
Food was impeccable. The waiter was great. The atmosphere was so comfortable.
We dined here for Thanksgiving during a recent trip. I'm always appreciative of places that are open to accommodate travelers like us on holidays, so we are thankful to the team at Bleu for being open and offering a traditional turkey dinner menu. Sadly, beyond the fact that we were fed, and treated reasonably well that's the extent of the accolades I could give them. The service was fine albeit a bit slow [they were not that busy], the food was fine - certainly could have been worse, definitely could have been better. Would have been extra thankful to not have been absurdly overcharged for my husband's two glasses of wine. If we find ourselves in Burlington again, we'd look elsewhere for a meal. I'd recommend others do the same.
Great service and great food but pricey. Good for a special occasion
Cuisine is excellent as usual
Skylar deserves an applaud
He goes out of his way to look after his guests
Expected the evening to be excellent, but was disappointed. We were seated quickly and the waitress was very attentive, but we waited a long time to get our food. Surprising when only two tables were occupied. The meal was very lacking. My date had the swordfish, which was decent, but my meal, the salmon, was about as bland as bland could be. I will say the fish was cooked well, but the whole meal lacked ALL flavor. Quite unfortunate since you're paying a hefty price for the dish. The prices were generally expensive for what you received. Not the worst restaurant in Burlington, and in a good location, but likely won't go back.
My wife and I made a reservation for a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was quiet with only a few tables occupied. Our waitress was cheerful, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Unfortunately the food was the big disappointment - overly huge amounts of food piled on the plate, so much so that it took one's appetite away. If the kitchen could improve their plating, and management drop prices a little, Bleu could improve their rating.
Great seafood with lake views and attentive service. The red fish and swordfish were delicious. Highly recommend for fresh seafood in Burlington
Good cocktails. Food was OK but not exceptional in any way. Overpriced Marriott hotel food. There are much better restaurants in Burlington.
Service was ok - our server was a bit casual considering the decor and price. The food was very good, many great options. Good wine. We had a lovely night at Bleu!
We were guests at the hotel and decided to eat here because of torrential rain. The food was very good, the ambiance is very nice. Our visit was a bit thrown off by our server who was not very attentive, or maybe forgetful. It took him so long to bring over a dessert menu that we decided to skip it; we had asked for it with coffee which we received and was more than half way through when he asked if we wanted dessert.
Diners should know that this is inside a Marriott Courtyard hotel. It very much feels like a hotel restaurant, the bar is outside in the lobby
Had a fantastic dining experience, the food and service were absolutely superb. I would recommend this extraordinary restaurant to any seafood aficionado.
