this is a great French restaurant. the wine list is very extensive and has many, many French wines to select from as well as California wines. The food was amazing, I had never had many of the items on the menu but everything i ordered was beyond my expectations. The server was very knowledgable in the food as well as the wines. The restaurants ambiance is amazing, it is very quiet and cozy, perfect for a date or just a late night excellent meal with that someone special. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Hard to read the menus.
The food was good but not great. My Steak frites, NY steak was undercooked and the fries were not great either. After eating at Bleu Boheme many times over the years, I think there are much better French restaurants in San Diego.
The ambiance is SO romantic with all those candles! And, the Creme Brulee was amazing!!! I'm sure we'll return.
First timers here. I had the duck confit, my wife had scallops and Mom had the special which was filet mignon. We’ve never been to France so I cannot speak to the authenticity of the dishes but I thought the duck and scallops were very delicious. We will definitely return and hopefully find a seat at the bar and order small plates. They also had a great sazerac.
It was ok, nothing particular about the restaurant was that great. Was more about packing in as much people as they could for Valentine's day. Multiple times were bumped by staff, and other patrons.
We went for Valentine's Day. The full menu was not available, that was disappointing. The Valentine's menu was very nice, and the rack of lamb and New York strip was excellent. I didn't like the fact that you were not informed that the gratituity was included in the meal price, but the credit card receipt had a space for a tip.
Enjoyed the casual atmosphere and very good French cooking. The pomme frites are excellent.
I love this restaurant. My wife and I have only dined here twice in two years, and our experiences both times have been home runs. We began with Sazeracs, the famous and potent New Orleans cocktails featuring rye and absinthe, and an provencal appetizer of pasta with basil, beans, and tomatoes. Just enough to whet our appetites for our main dishes of salmon--perfect temperature and degree of doneness--and duck confit with lentils. The duck's crispy skin worked beautifully with the moist thigh flesh. With those main plates we drank a half bottle of Chateuneuf du Pape. For a very satisfying ending, we shared a dessert of three-cheese cheesecake with a cooked fruit topping and double espresso. The welcoming and attentive staff have made this restaurant a "regular" when we migrate south for the winter.
Consistently excellent food and service. The before 6pm three course fixed price menu is great food for a great price!
Being our first ever visit to this establishment, we were impressed to begin with the warm greeting by the hostess Mia and the service throughout the entire service by our waiter Jorge. Each of our choices on the 3-course Prie-fixe menu were the best. We can recommend without hesitation the French onion soup as well as the main entrees of duck confit and steak & frittes.
A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE (and not a good one). It was my birthday and it came up in conversation with our waitress, so we were not surprised when she came out with a small scoop of chocolate mousse with a candle. The mousse was yummy and my husband ordered the cheese cake. We were very surprised when we looked at the bill and saw a $6.00 charge for the birthday dessert that I did not order and assumed was complimentary. I thought that was really cheesy of them to do so.
This is in our opinion the best restaurant in San Diego. Bleu Boheme reminds us of a favorite Manhattan spot and takes us back to Europe and some of the lovely French restaurants in small villages--cozy, candle lit, with fine food and wine, friendly service. Bar drinks are generous. We especially like the way your fine house wine is served in carafe, making for a more relaxed dining experience. We never feel rushed. Keep up the good work.
One small concern: the chicken has twice seemed a bit dry--not a deal breaker, as everything else was so superb. But might want to take a look at the cooking time.

Another great meal at Bleu Boheme, one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. The Restaurant Week menu was pleasantly broad. Started with a basil martini (there's none better in this city), followed by beet salad (two beets total -- didn't seem like enough) and then jidori chicken. While it was tasty, the accompanying brussel sprouts were the real highlight. Bread (brioche) pudding was the perfect finish. Attentive service.
This is my favorite restaurant! Amazing staff that work here. I love that they always remember me. Soccoro is such a fabulous server and what a wonderful person she is too! Love this restaurant so much!

Had dinner with a friend during restaurant week. Came here once before and had the mussels which were good but not great. Tonight's dinner was fabulous! Server was very nice. Had the crab croquettes which were delish, salmon was cooked to perfection and gingerbread cake with caramel ice cream was amazing! Ambiance was nice as always, a little noiser tonight than I remember it being last time. Wine selection was great, server had excellent suggestions! Now a fave place of mine, will come back more often!
The chef 👨🍳 came around to check on tables himself!! Bonus 😊
