Had reserved table; however, had drink pre-dinner drinks @‘bar and due to great service from Amelia, elected to eat there. Great time!
Food was salty, and the kids Mac n cheese was salty and loaded with black pepper which was at some point disturbing for us adults.
Onion soup and steak exceeded expectations.
Our server was awesome!
Nice ambiance/ food is not tradiotional French.
This place is a great place for a date or dinner with friends.
Excellent menu. The food is creative without being contrived or exaggerated. Many restaurants completely ignore the noise level, making it difficult or impossible to carry on a conversation. Here we were able to talk which is for me a very significant part of the pleasure of a good meal. We avoid restaurants with high noise levels no matter how good the food. Also, there is parking in the rear.
Very good dinner for my group. The food and ambiance were excellent.
Our experience at Bleu Boheme started with a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary which was signed and then placed on the table. The little touches continued from there. The candlelight on the table was from tall candles which back-lit the room bouncing off the brick walls. The soup was divine as was the salad. The beef bourguignon was superb with a delightful flavor and, oh so tender meet. The coquilles San Jacques was prepared perfectly as well. We were brought a scoop of chocolate mousee as a complimentary dessert to celebrate. It was perfect: light and just the right amount of sweetness. We will be back!
This restaurant never disappoints.. Always a special meal.
Every bite was delicious and savory! The service was friendly and efficient. Lovely French atmosphere. Transports you to Paris.
LOVE their crap cakes. So happy they are right down the street. Sorry they are now only open for dinner.
Always great. Duck Confit and Onion Tarts are superb.
It was the epitome of soul food served in a modern elegant way.
We had opted for the set menu. The portions are slightly smaller than ordering individually but it was still more than enough food. Everything was delicious. I had the butter lettuce salad and would definitely recommend it! The variety of flavors was wonderful! I order salmon as main course which was served over mixed vegetables- all vey tasty. Desert east a coconut mango bread pudding, also very good. Look forward to going back. Oh and free parking in the bank lot after six.
The mussels and fries are amazing and a favorite. I found the crab cakes delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.
Service, food, wine and atmosphere was great. Great hangout if your looking for spot to eat.
The food and service were both excellent as always. Everyone has a great time and enjoyed their food.
Celebrated 2 of my BFF bdays. This place is always an oldie, but a goodie for us. My girls and I love the mussels. Great place to dine and hang out for hours, except it is very pricey. One appetizer, 3 mussel entrees, 2 fish dishes and dessert cost over $300!
Reserved a table for four, celebrating a birthday. Attentive server, enjoyed the ambiance of candles throughout the restaurant, food was excellent, complimentary dessert, dark chocolate mousse completed our experience.
Best French onion soup ever! We had the specials, really great. Service spot on.
A great find in Kensington! Food was amazing! Basil martini fabulous!!!
My husband and I go often to the bar. Gigi serves us most of the time. He knows what we like. We love the ambience - food oh yes and vino.
The food was amazing, one of the best meals we’ve had in San Diego.
It was very noisy even at a table for 2 conversation was almost impossible. I had the skirt steak and wished I had ordered a different item on the menu- it was very thin and had a lot of grissel would not recommend.
Food was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely return when I visit San Diego next!
Food and atmosphere was great. Server was nice and friendly. I wish the staff was a bit more knowledgeable about the wine list.
Met a beautiful woman for dinner at your establishment. The food and ambiance was exquisite and the service was prompt without being annoying. I will go again and will highly recommend it to anyone look for exceptional French cuisine.
Had a great time. Service ?
Everything was on point from our warm hostess to Sarah's great service and our tasty meal. We were so well taken care of. Thank you Blue Boheme .
this is a great French restaurant. the wine list is very extensive and has many, many French wines to select from as well as California wines. The food was amazing, I had never had many of the items on the menu but everything i ordered was beyond my expectations. The server was very knowledgable in the food as well as the wines. The restaurants ambiance is amazing, it is very quiet and cozy, perfect for a date or just a late night excellent meal with that someone special. I highly recommend this restaurant.
My favorite SD restaurant❤️
Lost its charm. Food is overseasoned, overbearing, and underwhelming. Despite a reservation we were seated at the worst possible table with many others available. Waitstaff pounces on you to order drinks repeatedly while you're studying the menu and determining your dining direction which affects your wine pairing. What used to be enjoyable and special has become stuffy and pretentious. Menu has not changed in 2 years, it seems they've stopped trying. We're ready to look elsewhere for quality French cuisine served with finesse and attention, and not just an overblown reputation that has grown stale. This used to be our favorite, very disappointed.
Great food, atmosphere and service. Always warm and inviting tonights meal was especially delicious.
Really like the ambiance. Is there anyway to improve the table lighting without wrecking it?
Hard to read the menus.
The food was good but not great. My Steak frites, NY steak was undercooked and the fries were not great either. After eating at Bleu Boheme many times over the years, I think there are much better French restaurants in San Diego.
The ambiance is SO romantic with all those candles! And, the Creme Brulee was amazing!!! I'm sure we'll return.
First timers here. I had the duck confit, my wife had scallops and Mom had the special which was filet mignon. We’ve never been to France so I cannot speak to the authenticity of the dishes but I thought the duck and scallops were very delicious. We will definitely return and hopefully find a seat at the bar and order small plates. They also had a great sazerac.
It was ok, nothing particular about the restaurant was that great. Was more about packing in as much people as they could for Valentine's day. Multiple times were bumped by staff, and other patrons.
Outstanding for Valentines Day !! Would highly recommend.
We went for Valentine's Day. The full menu was not available, that was disappointing. The Valentine's menu was very nice, and the rack of lamb and New York strip was excellent. I didn't like the fact that you were not informed that the gratituity was included in the meal price, but the credit card receipt had a space for a tip.
Enjoyed the casual atmosphere and very good French cooking. The pomme frites are excellent.
