This has always been one of my favorite restaurants.
And continues to be!
We really enjoy Bleu Boheme and have since it opened several years ago. We always have a good meal, good wine and good service. It's only 15 min. from our house, more convenient than a downtown trek, and just as tasty.
Excellent food and service. We will be back!
As always, a fantastic experience at this neighborhood gem of a restaurant. Great service, excellent food, and delicious cocktails.
The service was friendly and helpful. And the majority of the food was good just one dish (the overpriced special) unfortunately was over-salted. Though I think the service would have been accommodating had I mentioned it.
We celebrated my birthday and was given a birthday card and chocolate mousse from the restaurant.
The harvest salad, mussels and escargot were wonderful.
Definitely a wonderful restaurant!
Out go-to place in Kensington/North Park area. The Tuesday Prix-Fixe $35 dinner menu is a great deal and perfect portions. If not on Tuesdays we split the mussels as an appetizer and then split a plate for dinner. You will not be disappointed.....
Dominic is lovely and looked after us so well 😊 food was delicious- especially the duck and curry pork chop!
The food was excellent and our waiter Leo was friendly with perfect service. We had an amazing evening!
A favorite place for any occasion. The food is delicious, the wine choices are great, and the service has always been outstanding.
Great resturant. Great service. Defintily will go back. Tuesday night menu is amazing.
the beef burgundy and duck leg were really good. the escargot was fishy. nutella crepes and bread pudding were okay. waiter was mia for most of dinner. i don’t think it was worth the $118 dollars.
Very long time between courses. Part of one dish came out cold, and another part was under-cooked. Unusual for this place--I have had many excellent meals there.
Very cooperative with scheduling on a very busy holiday dinner
Valentine’s Day - great atmosphere, outstanding service, delicious cocktails- but food was underwhelming. I believe due to volume of customers- kitchen was too stressed to make their best dishes. Sent back our entre. Overall would still recommend. Just an off night for chef.
It was very nice. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
We celebrated our anniversary here and had a lovely evening. Everything was perfect, starting with the basil martinis and ending with the cheesecake. I love the low lighting and tapered candles.
Absolutely phenomenal. The food. The gracious staff. The casual ambiance that allows you to love every minute.
Six of us went to Bleu Boheme for a birthday dinner. As soon as we arrived, we were seated promptly at a comfortable table. We started with the cheese / charcuterie sampler board, which was wonderful - a really wide selection of cheeses and meats - everyone at the table was pleased with it. For dinner, there was a wide variety of dishes ordered - confit de canard, beef bourguignon, Jidori chicken, mussels & fries. Again, everyone was very happy with their meals - no one had a negative thing to say at all.
For dessert we ordered 3 different dishes - creme brulee, profiteroles, and the brioche bread pudding. All the desserts were very good but I have to say the standout was the brioche bread pudding. The brioche was very tender and flavorful, and had just the right amount of sweetness - sweet but not a sugar-bomb. One person in our party even ordered the chocolate martini for dessert and said it was marvelous. So in one night the six of us managed to cover most of the menu. Everyone agreed that Bleu Boheme was a hit - we will most definitely go back.
Excellent service and great food. Only issue is the noise level. They need to think about something, maybe wall hangings, to tone down the sounds.
Great Birthday dinner! Angela’s service was wonderful and our meals were delicious. Really quiet when we got there but by the time we left the restaurant was full and a bit loud. That didn’t take away from a good experience!
Great food and service. Couldn’t ask for anything to be better.
This was our second visit to this lovely restaurant. It was as good or better than our first.
Invited an out of towner relative to join us. She is a big foodie with large executive expense account, so could have gone anywhere. We did not opt to try the rolling champagne cart tonight as we brought a favorite wine. Next up the incredible bread/butter. (Always a good indicator of the restaurants attention to all the little things that ultimately do leave you with a good impression of a restaurant). Next up we chose the classic onion soup....awesome!!!! My sister-in-law had the boeuf bourguignon. My husband had the duck. I had the steak frites from the prix fixe menu. We all truly enjoyed our meals. The ambiance and the relaxing atmosphere made our short time together a great experience. Recommend this neighborhood gem very highly for the great service and delicious menu.
The mussels, mushroom pasta.. all of it. Delicious. The service from staff was lovely and attentive.
Great deal for SDRW.
Beautiful inside, great service and delicious food.
I’m new to San Diego and was taken by a couple of friends within in our first few weeks in town! Food was excellent, our waitress was absolutely amazing and so sweet. We requested a bottle of red wine and she got one that suited the entire table! I do not recall her name, but petite , blonde hair woman. The atmosphere was relaxing, quaint yet desirable for a nice sit down evening. Will definitely be back!
Tried this place during restaurant week and the food was delicious!
Love love love this restaurant! Moved to Florida and every time we come back we come to Blue! As always loved the mussels, boeuf and the gingerbread was amazing! Fun cocktails and ambience on point! See you soon!
It was restaurant week so it was very loud. The chicken was dry so we sent it back for the salmon. The salmon was pretty raw in the middle. We come here often during the week and the food is always great. Restaurant week wasn’t a great experience.
It was my fault wanting to sit in the bar area. The bartender was our waiter and he couldn't do two things at once. By the time our main meal got to us it was not hot (it was all good just not hot). The bartender was very personable and we could see that it wasn't his fault but the little room off the bar had 3 different waiters whereas we only had the bartender. It was just disappointing cause we love this restaurant and the food has always been superior.
Perfect experience. Food was superb. Waitress nice and helpful with wine pairings. Will be back soon!
Great atmosphere, excellent staff and superb food. First time customers but we will be back, well worth the price.
We received the food way to fast. The soup was delivered before our appetizer. We had to ask them to pace our order. When our main dish came out it was cold. The manager said they would take care of us but that never happened.
Great food. Service a little slow, one person dealing with too many tables.
I used to love Bleu Boheme but I haven't been super happy the last 2 times.
The service is always excellent. Angela was attentive and very kind. The birthday card signed by staff members was a nice touch!
Have eaten here many times and loved it, but tonight the chefs special was off the hook good.
Delicious mussels and lovely corner table for a special birthday dinner!
Our server, Leo, was terrific. Attentive but did not hover, never made us feel rushed, willing to provide recommendations on wine and food when we asked, very courteous and friendly
