Great food. Service a little slow, one person dealing with too many tables.
The service is always excellent. Angela was attentive and very kind. The birthday card signed by staff members was a nice touch!
Have eaten here many times and loved it, but tonight the chefs special was off the hook good.
Our server, Leo, was terrific. Attentive but did not hover, never made us feel rushed, willing to provide recommendations on wine and food when we asked, very courteous and friendly
One of our favorites. Blue Boheme never disappoints.
its a hit and miss. We had good nights and not so good. A medium neighborhood restaurant.
We went there on Dec 31st to their New Year’s Eve thing and it wasn’t bad but we were not impressed at all. Food and service were just OK. The ambiance is nice though, very romantic.
We’re probably coming back on a regular day when their full menu is available.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy. We love Bleu Boheme!
Great food, lovely restaurant with big portion. I will be back.
A+ great service and food all around.
Get the cheesecake.
Every time we visit Bleu Boheme, you guys (and ladies) knock it out of the park. We sit at our favorite table (#1) and just enjoy the heck out of everything. Thanks again for another memorable evening!
This was our first time at this lovely restaurant. Feeling was cozy, casual and comfortable. This place felt so authentic and so much less pretentious than any place we have been in San Diego going for the French vibe. Menu had lots of great choices. We both ordered the lobster bisque, then my husband ordered the duck and I had the Boeuf Bourguignon. It was our anniversary, so added another dessert besides the complimentary mousse. Service was excellent. Our server made a point of making just the right comments to gauge the level of service we wanted....prompt and quick or laid back and relaxed. It was a perfect evening for us and we will definitely be back. Recommend for special occasion, with friends or just because you want to treat yourself to great food and service.
Love this Neighborhood restaurant and would highly recommend it
Wonderful in every way. Many thanks.
Really great experience. Very delicious food and great service. A little more casual than "fine dining," but a great choice for a special meal. Super service, too. Be aware the food is VERY rich (it is French, after all), but totally worth it
Disappointing food. Salmon was salty. Crime brûlée tastes smoky (too much gas was used). Previously was way better
Most items are good v great. Nice atmosphere. A bit pricey for good plus rating. Does have authentic Parisian vibe so would return. Where else can one get authentic French mussels.
Always excellent service and superb food. We went with our toddler and they were very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch or dinner.
We visited the Bleu Boheme for out Thanksgiving dinner. Although a little pricey, we knew that going in. The menu was fixed, with some great selections. The food, service, drinks, and ambience were wonderful. Highly recommended.
We had a great Thanksgiving at the delightful restaurant. Very nice and couldn't have been better
Thanksgiving dinner was amazing! Much better than cooking at home. Staff are awesome and delicious food. Tres bien!
For an upscale Thanksgiving Dinner, it hit the ball out of the park. It was just what we needed after traveling from Taiwan, with our suitcases still in tow. We arrived directly from airport to have an early Thanksgiving dinner before going home and directly to bed, suffering from jet lag. I'm excited to join Bleu Boheme on one of their typical nights to enjoy their main menu. Thanks again for hosting us!
My salmon was absolutely perfect, as were its side dishes. I was most impressed because I am often forgetful about what wine I order (not a big drinker) but there was a record of the wine I had ordered from a previous visit which I had liked. What a nice touch. Only one suggestion....my friend wanted Floating Islands as dessert and we both know that they were on the dessert list last year, but not this year. I would suggest that the waiter not argue with the customer that the dessert had never been offered....he would have made a better impression if he had said: "I'm sorry, we don't have that dessert tonight but I'll mention it to the chef." Arguing with the customer about something like that is bad form and left a bad taste after an otherwise very nice dinner.
My husband & I had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The staff gave us a lovely card to start our evening. It was an early & quiet evening. We will do this again. This is our favorite fine dining restaurant.
Always a marvelous dinner.
Took out of town visitors to dinner on a Monday night. Wonderful experience. Started with great martinis, and the food was excellent - we had mussels and steak. Service was fast and friendly. Love the ambience. We will return soon!
I love Bleu Boheme...always impeccable service and faire. Such a great spot to catch up with a friend that I had not seen in years. The food was perfect! Bleu cheese mussels, to die for along with frites...yummy! The venue was perfect! We could actually hear each other without a problem. Would always recommend for a special occasion and even though we were there for fix price night, it is such a deal!
Riquísima comida, botanas
My wife and I ate here on a weekday and the service, ambiance and food was great. 2 weeks later, with family in town, we booked a table for 6 on a Friday night. Complete and total opposite experience. Service was not good at all (server forgot 2 of the 4 apps we ordered for the table; pretty sure he also forgot about dessert, which took 35 mins to get). Bottom line: go on a week night; the smaller the group, the better.
Amazing. Always a stellar meal with exemplary service.
It was my birthday and despite mentioning it in the reservation, and my wife calling the restaurant to remind and asking them to do some type of desert with a candle, we got nothing. It would have been thoughtful to at least get a cookie with a candle in it. We were not looking for anything for free and would have gladly paid for it, but it would have been nice if they would have taken the extra attention on my birthday. When my wife complained to to server the server pretty much brushed the comment away and ignored. Kind of rude.
Really a great meal! Party of four. Great service, good wine and cocktails. Salade maison, ravioli, steak frittes all excellent!
I have been to this restaurant on several occasions. Only change I would make... Require a dress code.
I just love this place! Basil martini? Check! Duck confit? Check! Ambience? Check! Been coming here for years. They remember what you like to drink. How you take your meat. Everything! Love this place!
As always the service was attentive and the food superb.
The food is excellent every time. It taste so good to eat really well prepared French cuisine. Up we started with Panisse , traditional chickpea flour fries catch up, which was just wonderful . I had duck confit catch up on a bed of polenta which was heavenly and followed up the meal with a wonderful three cheese cake with raspberry drizzle. Very delicious meal and blue Boehm is consistently wonderful!
Amazing service as always!!!!
Outstanding food! Great martinis! The service was good....we waiting awhile for our food, but it
was nice to be able to take our time.
Lovely evening and delicious food with excellent service. Thank you!
Outstanding food, great service. Seemed like atmosphere supports either casual or dressy occasions. Great, local Kensington spot.
