   The food and service was great and the fact that you could have a lunch meeting where space and noise level was good. The only drawback was that my assistant couldn't reach anyone by phone to make a reservation and only came upon the online booking option by checking your website for restaurant hours.

   We have always loved Blaze for their outstanding Bison ribs. We told our out of town guest "you HAVE to try these ribs - they are the best!". Imagine our dismay when we got to the restaurant and learned that the ribs were no longer on the menu!! What were they thinking?!?!?! When asked, our excellent server confirmed that the ribs were always a top seller. The beet salad, the elk tourtiere, and the soups were all very good. But they weren't Bison ribs!! (p.s. The pickerel was overcooked - Shouldn't have had to use my knife as a carving utensil) We'll be back when the ribs are back on the menu.

   We made this reservation last minute for Valentine's Day. Honestly I didn't expect much, thinking all the "good" restaurants would be booked up and we decided to take what we could get. I was completely blown away, not only was the food amazing, but the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. It made for the most romantic Valentine's Day. We had their Valentine's couple special that consisted of 3 courses. Everything was delicious especially main courses, a steak that was served with an elegant garam masala sauce and a perfectly cooked salmon.

   It was a nice place with good , friendly service. There were two of us and we ordered 2 entrees. The food was good but a little pricey. I had lamb shank which is usually filling but there wasn't much meat on the shank for 27. My friend had ribs for over 30. No sides or bread with either. Too expensive for what was served.

   The meal was fabulous. We were the only ones in the restaurant which may deter some people if they are unfamiliar with the food. We had been there before so we knew it was great, but the other couple we were with were wondering about it since no one else was there.

   We booked this somewhat last minute, because it had availability and because it was in a nice hotel we had high hopes the restaurant would match. Sadly, it did not. Everything we had to choose from (and subsequently ordered) could have easily been made at home for cheaper and with more flavor. Our server, while funny, was very forgetful (part of our food never even came out) and he mixed up drinks several times (including pouring water into my friends glass of scotch by mistake). He also referred to some of the items we asked about as terrible and not worth ordering - which while appreciated for the truth seemed unprofessional. If I was already staying in the hotel, I would consider eating here, but I have no plans to return again.

   Locally sourced ingredients make this a great place to go. Arctic char, bison, pickerel showing up on a high end menu.

   Although the menu was limited, the food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. I really like the fact that the Blaze uses a lot of local products - especially fish. Our waiter (Allen) was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service.
