    That was my 1st time. I’ve drove 2 hours. It was such a vibe and the food was amazing. I think our server was overwhelmed. He tried to be as attentive as he could. I definitely want to visit again.

    My husband's birthday was Saturday, 7/13. We had never been to their brunch before so I was amazed at their spread! Wonderful seafood buffet table set up with oysters, shrimp, smoked salmon, salads, desserts all on one table, and in another room, many buffets' dishes set up with cheesy omelets, bacon, sausage, roasted or hash brown potatoes, croissants, roast beef, ham, etc. It was the perfect place to have for a birthday breakfast, and we also enjoyed the mimosas that came with little pitchers of strawberry, mango and peach juice. It was a terrific breakfast/brunch. Thank you very much to the staff and chefs at Blackwall Hitch!

    I love this restaurant. The ambiance is is cool, the decor is stylish and the food is yummy. I have been twice for brunch and once for lunch. There are so many options for brunch, it's overwhelming but in a good way. For lunch I had the Blackwell burger, medium well, and my friend had the red brick chicken. OMG the burger was juicy and tasty. The chicken was moist and delish; very mouth watering. I also had the mango blossom cocktail, delish. I will definitely keep these in the rotation for future visits. Our server, Ava, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and patient. She knew her stuff. Overall, great experiences every time I've been to this restaurant. You better I'll not be disappointed.

    This meal had the potential to be an exceptional experience, but poor management ruined it for me. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. My meal was not prepared properly, and while the waitress was somewhat attentive, after (a different person) delivered our food, she did not come back to check until my husband was finished eating. We also had plans following the meal, so I didn't eat, and I didn't necessarily need a replacement because of time. When she came and I explained the problem with my meal, she didn't really listen, just said she would send someone over. The manager came, and once I declined a replacement (he did not really give me an opportunity to express the reasons I stated above), he seemed to brush me off and didn't even offer any compensation. The service went downhill from there. I won't be returning simply because of the service. It just wasn't satisfactory. Customers just want to feel heard and appreciated and treated fairly - especially when you splurge and go to a nicer restaurant. So, in this case- the appetizer was delicious, and my husband enjoyed his meal, and the problem with mine could have been easily resolved with a more attentive waiter/waitress and more proactive management. 3 stars, not sure if I will return.
