    We had brunch on Father’s Day and it was a great experience. Holidays at restaurants can be iffy with service and food, due to the sheer volume of diners. Blackwall Hitch handled Father’s Day wonderfully. The food was tasty, fresh and plentiful. I hate when I go to a buffet set-up and they don’t keep the food replenished. That was not the case here, everything was available the entire time we dined. The staff was friendly and attentive. The variety was also great! Two things I wish: there should be free refills with coffee. $4 a cup, with no free refills is giving Starbucks. The other thing is the noise level due to the live band. It’s hard to have a conversation with the rest of your party. But the band is really good and my hubby really enjoyed them, so it was worth keeping our convo light and vibing to the live music. Keep the band!

    The ambiance was wonderful. However, our waiter was not very attentive and did not share the Tuesday specials with us.

    We had a very bad experience and will not be returning. My father in law could not have been more clear (and the rest of us emphasized) that he has a garlic allergy. They brought his steak covered in herb butter and we could easily smell the garlic. The server first took away then brought back insisting it wasn't garlic. FIL then asked for a plain burger instead. By the time it came everyone else was done and the burger had everything on it. At this point FIL didnt want to delay us so he got dessert. It could have been because the music was so loud nobody could hear each other but we all kept repeating to make the order clear. The manager came and seemed to think all of this was funny. Said he would comp us the dessert and the meals that were wrong (??). The fire alarm was going off during most of our meal and we had to ask multiple times for salt and cutlery. Those of us who ate liked our food but overall it was a miserable experience

    Food was good, service was nice, and food was delicious. I am a little frustrated that I have been trying to get in contact with someone at the restaurant but it’s incredibly difficult to get someone on the phone.

    The food and the patio were great so the place has real potential but the service was really unacceptably bad. No silverware, no one taking our orders, receiving our appetizers but still no silverware nor our drinks, food that wasn’t ours being delivered to our table, still no drinks. It went on all night like this. And zero acknowledgement of the shortcomings in service. We will take our business elsewhere next time.

    I ordered the Trio, which consisted of salmon, grilled shrimp and a mini crab cake over smashed potatoes. The presentation was very nice. The crab cake was a little less crab meat mixed with fillers, whose taste was a little off. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my dining experience!

    We didn’t get water until our bill came. It was super noisy and overcrowded, leading to bad service. Our waitress was really sweet, but clearly overwhelmed.
