Really enjoy Rare 650 and OneNorth and wanted to try Blackstone. What a disappointment. Restaurant was incredibly loud. The sushi prices were impossibly high. You could eat at the most exclusive Sushi restaurants in the city and pay less. The steak had no flavor and was served cold. Really not the experience we expected from such a great restaurant group.

Seated at exact time. Waiter/Waitress worked well together. My wife loved her Bloody Mary. Shrimp Cocktail was excellent. Salad was large enough to share and was fresh and delicious. Main dishes were spaced out after salads. steak was prepared just the way I ordered. My wife loved the lobster tail. Bread was freshly baked and served hot at the table. I would return in a heart beat.

We just returned from my husband's birthday dinner at Blackstone's and it was not a success. We ordered salads (Caesar and Wedge) which were both excellent. We debated between porterhouse for 2 or bone-in rib-eyes. Our waitress said that the rib-eyes are fattier and juicier so that's what we ordered. I ordered mine medium rare and it came medium. It was chewy and not at all juicy and over-salted. I have had better rib-eyes for so much less! They took it back and brought me another one which was better, but not that good for $58. We ordered French fried potatoes and creamed spinach, both of which were so salty that we had to also return the fries. Other than the salad, the whole EXPENSIVE dinner was a disaster. It was so bad, that they actually took $111 off the check (unsolicited) on their own and it still wasn't worth it.
I will say that the service was very good. Thanks Blanca and Adrian!

Hi, every year we go to Blackstones for our anniversary. It’s always amazing, the food is outstanding and our waiter John is awesome. We have had him a few times and he’s wonderful!! Nice gentleman :)

The music was so loud and had a table by the bar that was so crowded people kept bumping into the table. We had a very hard time having a conversation which alone made the dinner a disappointment until our steaks arrived and two of the 4 had to go back because they were barely cooked. They were ordered as medium rare and they were barely seared. The other 2 steaks were very good but the hash browns were burnt. I spent $500.00 and don’t feel it was worth half that. Very disappointed and doubt I would ever go back again.

Service was 100% professional. Made them selves available throughout our meal. Porterhouse for three was cooked to perfection. We had two other guests who opted for splitting a fish dish with their steaks and their meals were outstanding.

We made reservations for Easter for 5pm and walked into the restaurant at 4:55pm. The minute i said our last name to the Hostess, they sat us right away, WOW! The restaurant was very busy, its a holiday so i figured that. We seem to always order the same thing - Porterhouse for 3 or 4, we said for 4 this time. This time the meat was a little too overcooked and we didnt want to complain as we had already complained that the broccolini was cold. They brought us another order of broccolini and told us they took off this plate completely from the bill, until we got rung up wrong. We were rung up for a completely higher $, they said it would fix itself within 24hrs-which it did however we had to get rung up again for our bill.
Usually have a great experience, not so sure this time. Maybe we have outgrown this place?
Oh and by the way, no kids meals---so unless your kid eats adult food, not worth bringing them.

Easter dinner was fantastic as usual. The service was second to none and the food as well. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and cut like a hot knife through butter. The sea bass was moist and full of flavor. The best part was the appetizers of lobster rolls and mussels with bay scallops. French press coffee and cappuccino to complete the meal was very good.

Food was awful - $69 filet requested medium came out drier than dust. Veal chop also requested medium was raw. Tables that sat after ours were served before us.

The restaurant was extremely loud. It was impossible to have a conversation over the noise of the DJ. Our steaks were over cooked. The French fries were mush. The servers were attentive but again, delivered over cooked food. Too expensive of a dinner for such a poor experience.

For the price of our dinner, I am not impressed. My Lobster tail was not cooked right and had a mushy texture. No compensation was even offered. Is it normal for someone to pay $52 for a lobster tail, eat 4 bites and the waiter didyquestion that?!? I will spend the time driving I to the city for a special meal next time.

For years, I’ve always loved the food and dining experience at Blackstone. Among friends of mine there’s a small rivalry between our favorite steakhouses. Neither Morton’s, Peter Luger or Ruth Chris can ever compete with Blackstone. Considering Blackstone’s variety between steaks, seafood and sushi, it’s by far the best of all steakhouses combined. And although Blackstone is bit pricey, you surely get what you pay for. Looking forward to returning again soon!
