Blackstone Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Waite staff was uninterested . They just plopped down the dishes on to the table . I️ had to stop the waiter as he walked by for more drinks and cocktail sauce since he didn’t stop by on his own.. I️ expect better service especially after spending $250 for two people. Usually the Waite staff is more attentive than this.I️ may give the place one more chance
This was my first time at Blackstone Steakhouse, and it was a great experience. As long as you are "ok" with some noise, a little bit of a "power scene," and high prices, then you are in store for delicious food (both steaks, fish, and sushi, and yummy desserts), and wonderful service.
The Sunday evening special was amazing! No need for a knife to cut the filet, it melts in your mouth! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Veggies were awesome! Cesar salad so good! The bread is just great, very important in our family. On the down side, avoid the supposed ‘wagyu’ sliders...too much mysterious pieces of byproduct involved with this starter. Kinda gross actually.
The food was good but underwhelming for the price. Our waitress seemed to be on top of things, but the waiter forgot to place our drink order on two different occasions in the same meal. They very generously gave us a dessert without me saying anything about my girlfriend's birthday other than clicking the box when I made the online reservation. Bottom line, it was a very good steak, but for that kind of money I could think of a few other places I'd go first. It seemed like the place may be too big to give you personalized service.
Very nice but pricey. Expect great service, very good food, but it's quite noisy if you plan on conversation. Bar area looked fun, but music is loud and can be heard throughout the dining area. Not a spot for a quiet dinner date. We were never rushed which was nice. However, we found ourselves practically yelling at one another to be heard. Our table was close to the bar. Not a good choice for our party that night. But we all enjoyed our food which was a mixture of fish dishes and steaks. Sushi roll appetizer was outstanding. Lobster and king crab Vietnamese style. But again very pricey. I would go back with friends for a special occasion or drinks. You are treated very well here from the valet to several hostesses, waiters, managers constantly checking in.
The food is excellent- from Sushi to steak- everything is high quality. My one issue is the prices- a sushi special was $50 dollars for one roll and a "bone in" filet mignon was over $60. Seems over priced for what you get. It's good, but I don't think the prices are justifiable.
Food was great and truly enjoyed the night there. Servers were very friendly and were working very hard. Service was on slow side but place was busy. One thing we noticed, there appeared to be several managers hanging out talking not really working. Don’t think it was fair to waitress especially since I had to wait a while to get a second glass of wine and then again to have our bill taken. Managers should pitch in too.
It was a very mediocre meal. The porterhouse for three was hard to cut as well as it had no taste.
Most of the time the service at a high end restaurants make up for an occasional less than par meal but in this case it only made it worse.
The manager did come to us and ask how are meal was but at that point there was nothing we could do but nod politely.
Impressed with the food. It took a little while to come out but when it did it was excellent. I had the 22oz Rib Steak, wife had the sea bass. She ended up eating half my steak and taking the fish home because it was so tasty. The sushi rolls looked tasty but the prices for the specialty rolls ($35-40) seemed steep. The pineapple infused “fusion” cocktail was out of this world.
Would definitely go back.
The worse service. Asked for bread three times. It finally arrived after we were served our salad. The waiters would walk by and never ask if you needed anything. Never offered pepper or even a refill on wAter or coffee. The $140 special steak was rare not medium. But no know one even came by and asked about the steak. Had to wait for my glass of wine after I started our meal.
We have eaten at all the best steak house. I was at Tonys and Anthony's in Houston this week which was the best service I ever had in a steAk house. Blackstone was a step up from outback but maybe not. Never to return
This was our second time going to this restaurant. The first time was more of a wow for us. The past weekend we went again for our Anniversary and it was ok. We took our son along and he loves steak and we all felt that the steak really wasn't that great especially for the price we were paying. The sushi was good and we enjoyed our doughnut dessert at the end but we will definitely be searching out some new spots for the future for a nice steak place. I also felt the waiter ( the male not the female) was a bit off his "game" while waiting on us.
Just having back surgery, the hostesses were very accommodating by seating my boyfriend (whom had never been to Blackstone) and I in one of the bigger booths by the bar area upon my request. Kelly was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful!!!! Will definitely be requesting her in the future. JV was also amazing as always. The food was absolutely amazing, definitely the best meal I’ve eaten at Blackstone- not one complaint or critique!!
We really enjoyed our special dinner at Blackstone Grille. We come especially for the Sunday filet mignon and lobster dinner special and are not disappointed. The food is well prepared and the drinks are delicious. I must also compliment the service. We have always felt they attend to our every need and make us feel special! We celebrated our 40th Anniversary and again we were not disappointed!
The fine folks at Blackstone do it right every time. From the valet to the bus boys and everyone in between The entire Staff are tremendous at their tasks.
Johnny especially is a GREAT WAITOR. Steaks are always perfect. Sushi is unbelievable.
We'll be back soon.
The bar and the sushi/sashimi stations are what make this place worth it. The quality of the entrees was fair at best, meats were undercooked, price was not commensurate with the top rated steak houses that they charge like...ambiance and service were great
Lucky enough to live close so we try and go there a few times a year. Always amazing! They always take great care of us, the food is cooked to perfection and the experience is always just that, an experience. Not the cheapest meal but in a world where we pay basically too much for everything it's nice to know that there are still some establishments that work hard to make the experience valuable.
As usual, can't wait to go back!
