   My husband, child and I went there for Mother’s Day. It was our first time there and we had high expectations. My son enjoyed his kids meal. The Caesar salad were good, mushroom soup was extremely salty. My husband had the chicken and it was delicious. I ordered my steak medium well and it was overdone, also very salty. Dessert was good. Our bill was close to $250 for two entrees and a kids meal. Good experience, not sure if I will return.

   Thank you for the 4 star review Samoya, however we are sorry to hear that your meal was not up to expectation. We strive to provide the best service and food. It is unfortunate we did not have an opportunity to correct these mistakes at the restaurant that evening. We do hope to see you again in the future for an experience that is sure to impress!

   We did not experience good service or explanation of food items. There was a mistake on our bill too…$20 too high. We were not impressed.

   This was our very first visit to Blackstop for dinner. We were celebrating an anniversary. We enjoyed the service and food very much. The staff was welcoming and very attentive. We enjoyed the variety of the menu with wonderful presentations. We will definitely be back

   Great meal. We were traveling the 401 and found this great restaurant with a perfect blend of class, originality, and a good home cooked special meal. Kudos!

   My husband and I did not enjoy the service from our waitress. She did not seem personable and I strongly believe she uttered some words about us. I would like to point out that we weren’t there long and did not create a fuss of any kind. We would not go back.

   The food is excellent, the service is attentive, the wine menu is large and varied, and the whole place is very well decorated. The price is quite reasonable for such quality. We'll be back for sure!

    I don’t see the need for a DJ at an Easter Brunch and it was too loud. Once he started playing the bongos, I couldn’t hear my conversation. There weren’t enough options, especially healthy options on the tapas menu. The server was very nice but it took a long time to get our food.
