   This place lives up to the hype. It was my first time here. Love the design to get to the hidden dining room, which is a lot quieter than sitting in the front room. The servers were willing to accommodate virtually any request. This evening, most patrons ordered the crab cakes and raved about them. Can't wait to come back.

   Always a pleasant dinning experience. The food is great. Not cheap, but it is particularly well executed. I like that this is not a pretentious atmosphere and that the noise level allows for normal conversation and yet some privacy.

   Excellent soft shells and oysters Superb service Happy to see front room filled and buzzing but also happy to be seated in the elegant and luxe back room

   We’re been enjoying Black Salt for many years. Service still fine, as is the cooking & nice menu options. - however the prices are very high. The snapper for $55.00 had not much else on the plate - he looked a bit lonely… Our other issue is the 4% credit card charge. Understand that costs are rising, but credit card companies charge 1.5-3.5 % for transactions so 4 % just seems unreasonable. Seeing this occasionally, though not at higher end restaurants.

    We had not dined there for a while and regret that we hadn't. It will definitely be at the top of our list for future dining experiences.
