I was greeted right away and seated. Our waiter, Ryan, who is in training and his trainer, served us exceptionally well. The food was delicious!!!! All of the servers were great! I would fine here again.

Excellent cuisine, I had opted for the fish stew and it was just ONLY delicious. In addition, a friendly and attentive but in no way intrusive service. Absolutely recommended.

The fried oysters were excellent. We shared the salad, and they split it for us. The branzino was good, nothing too exciting, but good. They were out of the fish dish that we wanted to order. Always love this place!

Requested a specific table, disappointed that it was not available even though the restaurant was not particularly crowded. I would have been surprised if the party that was dining had requested that ahead of us. Fried oyster appetizer was excellent. Breading was light and delicate, oysters fresh. The main courses of scallops over garlic mashed potatoes and greens, and peppercorn tuna were well prepared and presented beautifully. The scallops were lightly Golden barely under-cooked but by 15 to 30 seconds. The small bread serving, including cheese, bread with jalapeño at the beginning of the meal was tasty, but somewhat small, didn’t wish to ask for more, but in the past it was always provided without fuss. Overall experience was positive and the food as always, very good. It is an expensive dining option. Dinner for two with two glasses of wine and no dessert or coffee came in at $150 with 20% tip.

Ordered milk for a child, never got it and was billed Order a salad that normally includes eggs, asked to not have eggs than got it with eggs. The martini was watered down. The scallops were under cooked and the person who ate them got sick.

This is a very nice restaurant. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and courteous. We had 2 entrées and desserts. The main course was delicious with our order of the pan seared salmon and the pan seared Mahi Mahi. Both dishes were prepared well and very favorable. They both came with small accompaniments (bok choy, small roast potato). The portions were reasonable. We order the gingerbread cake and the chocolate chip cake. The desserts were just ok and my guest and I both stated that it was not something we would order again. The restaurant and food is worth a visit. The price was a bit steep. I spent over $140 for two entrees and 2 desserts, and 1 glass of Prosecco.

My grown daughters birthday lunch. No recognition was given to that even though it was mentioned to the waiter. I had a sesame crunch salad with shrimp. The small salad was $13 & the 4 shrimp were $12. It was a mediocre salad & the shrimp tasted like they just came out of the fridge. The best item was the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious. There were 3 of us - 2 Asian crunch salads - one with shrimp, one with chicken & a hamburger. One glass of water & 2 glasses of white wine. The bill was $116 w/out tip. I would not rush back. And the restaurant had only 3 other occupied tables at 1 pm on a Saturday.

Food and service were excellent. Two disappointments: the menu on line didn’t reflect the menu in restaurant. Didn’t have what I actually went for and didn’t really have anything I wanted for a lunch. Second, perhaps can’t be helped, very expensive. Two appetizers and one drink $50. The food and service were very good. We had fried oysters as a starter and seafood stew as the entire. Both were delicious. The decor in the restaurant, however, is very dated and the lighting is dark. It’s in need of an update and better lighting. This would greatly improve the overall dining experience.

I’ve been here before and the food is always very good. Dinner last night was AMAZING! The seafood was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bread was aromatic and delicious. The salads were light and fresh. One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time! Way to go, BLACKS!

The customer Service was annoying. Instead of just telling us the restaurant was closing, the waiter kept hovering around our table taking our used dishes. My date wasn't finished with her salad and he even took that too early! The food was very good. I love the set up and architecture!!!

It was an extremely disappointing dining experience! I had to send my entree back because the scallops were warm, but the whipped potatoes and chard that topped the scallops were cold! I don’t think I will return to this restaurant!

We always enjoy Black’s for date night; oysters and then an entree. We’ve tried almost every entree over 10+ visits and enjoyed them all, especially the scallops, the hanger steak salad and the tuna. The service is consistently kind and helpful, and one of the few places where you see familiar faces everytime you walk in. The team does a phenomenal job.

The food was excellent...wine as usual was good but barely half a glass. The service was awful...waiter had no idea what he was doing, kept forgetting what we ordered and asked us 3-4 times what we were "waiting on".
