Blackfish at Tulalip Resort Casino Ratings and Reviews
I brought my partner there for her birthday, put it on the reservation. I expected something,no enquiries about what was the occasion. Oh well,we don't have to return. Food was good, let the server talk me into chefs ' way of prepping.
I should have had it the way I wanted it.
I would not and currently will not recommended this place to anyone. I had the New York steak and my wife had the Tenderloin and we were both disappointed. I would think at least one of those steaks would have been a hit but no - a strike out. It was Thanksgiving so we were hoping for a great meal. Next time I'll deal with the traffic and go downtown to Daniels or the Met where I know I can get a good steak for the money.
Special occasion with 4 of us. Service was very slow- from getting water to menus, to drinks, to the food. 2 large tables around us had no problems with their service from the same waitress. for the price we paid you should have more servers to ensure the smaller 'lesser value' tables are as closely attended as the larger 'big value' tables. The food itself was mediocre and not the level I was expecting based on previous experience. I was disappointed as we had dined here before with better service and far better quality of food.
I've enjoyed Blackfish more before. This time the sound seemed to be too loud, and the service less relaxed or as attentive as the times before this visit. The food was still good but I wish I had stayed with my favorite: lobster mac & cheese. Not the little salmon bites I had. However, thank you for the Birthday dessert treat.
Menu is great, good wine, the food was fabaulous... inspiring flavors and presentation. Kudos to the Chef!
Jill was our server and she was lovely. Professional, fun and she knew when to check on us and when to let us relax. Look forward to our next meal there!
Was a wonderful experience enjoying fresh delicious seafood ( I had Seared Scallops, and my date had King Salmon). Food is a bit expensive but it's also some of the best food you'll have, I will always recommend the salmon. Any type of salmon on the menu will be far better than what you'll find just about anywhere else
We visited Blackfish on a Saturday night. It was very busy but we had our Open Table reservations waiting for us. The service, food and cocktails were all exceptional. Especially the alder fired king salmon...Yum! This was the first time visiting this restaurant and all in our party were very impressed. We will be back!
I had never been to the Blackfish before and didn't know what to expect. The foods was exceptional and the atmosphere was fun! The food and drinks were also very unique...not something you could just go get anywhere. I would definitely call this a fancy restaurant but not to the point that you felt ridiculous being there. Food portions weren't small either. Fabulous!
We ate here this past Saturday night and had a wonderful waitress but other than her, I considered the meal and the space just average. There were three of us celebrating a special birthday. Unfortunately, the restaurant is SO loud (and smoky from the casino) that it just wasn’t as enjoyable as we would have liked. We requested a booth (thought it would be quieter) and were told one wasn’t available and we were seated right in the middle of the restaurant. It was aggravating to see one booth stay empty the entire time we were there. Ordered a side of brussel sprouts and they were barely cooked. Sent them back and got some done more but still not cooked enough. In fact, all our vegetables were undercooked. Wish I could waitress name because she was awesome!
We love this place, whether we're having happy hour smoked salmon & drinks or a full meal. I almost always choose the heritage salmon, because I can get it cooked medium rare (as opposed to overcooked everywhere else). My husband favors the bounty bowl. We always love the Caesar salad, with awesome house-made "crouton"! Lovely wine list with choices at all price points.
