Got seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time. Service was slow and we could tell they were short staffed. Food was worth the wait except mashed potatoes tasted like they had come from instant mashed potatoes and not fresh.

This is still the best salmon in the area. The smoke penetrates the fish perfectly. It’s nice that you can now order it with a choice of side dishes rather than the default corn fritters and asparagus. It’s a little loud because it’s open to the casino floor. The wine list is limited but the choices are all excellent.

We've been to the Blackfish many times. This visit had mixed reviews, my wife's halibut was excellent, my filet - not so much. It seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while - the sauce on the filet had hardened somewhat, the sauce on the fingerling potatoes had the same effect - it was just a blob that stuck everything together. My meal didn't have a lot of flavour. Disappointing for sure.

The menu has slightly changed. All the items are there, but the sides have changed a bit. Steak was still great, though I miss the old glaze they used, wasn't a fan of a chunk of Bleu cheese on my filet. Crab Mac was good as always. Service was excellent. Prices have gone up, but what hasnt.

We are glad we came. During Covid, they had reduced their menu and many of the things we liked were taken off the menu and simplified. But they now have put most of the items back on the menu. You can now order your salmon cooked in 4 different styles, 4 different types of sauce plus they have added most of the sides from before. Very happy with the changes. The only thing missing is the old style bread and flavored butter, and they used to have beets as a side.

We were a party of 3 and had reservations for dinner right at opening time. All of us ended up selecting the stick-grilled Heritage sockeye salmon cooked over the open wood fire. We chose to have ours cooked medium, not medium rare, and we all agreed that it was the best salmon we have ever had. It was cooked to perfection, tender and moist on the inside, and the surface of the salmon filet was smokey and had a thin seasoned glaze that complemented the fresh salmon taste. The salmon was plated with corn fritters and baby asparagus spears. This salmon was so good that I would return to this restaurant to eat it again!

Steak was served without a steak knife and separate bowl was not provided with the seafood bowl for the empty shells. Had to ask for both. Had to flag down someone for more water and wasn’t checked up on until we were done.

Blackfish was one of our favorite restaurants. We’ve been going there almost 10 years. We’ve noticed the food quantity, quality, and service have been degraded. We waited 25 minutes after we were sat down to get our waitress over to get our drinks order. The menu has less items on it. The steak was not as good. We let the waitress know the we were sharing the steak and we were told that we weren’t allowed to do that. That was weird.

Love this place. Great service, outstanding food. Did not give a 5 star because it was very loud in the restaurant the last 2 times we ate there. So hard to talk amongst your guest. Maybe make sure when you reserve your table that there isnt a large group setting there also that evening because sometimes they get a little excited and forget there are others in the restaurant

We’d heard a lot about Blackfish and inasmuch as we were staying at the hotel made reservations to give it a try. We loved it and will definitely make it a must revisit on our next overnight stay. Highly recommend it!

All the four seafood dishes we ordered were excellent, served in good portion and very delicious. The chocolate cake is heavenly and just melted in our mouths. Our server Maria provided us with excellent service. She was so knowledgeable about the ingredients of the items listed on the menu. She was very attentive and very patience with our food questions and demands. She is wonderful to our group and to her other customers. She is one of very few Great Servers we encountered these days during our extensive travels. KUDOS to Maria and the Chef of Blackfish at Tulalip!

We enjoyed a birthday dinner here, comprised of champagne and delicious appetizers. We had the very tasty roasted clams, the delicious crab cakes and a spicy shrimp cocktail. Together with the bread, it was plenty of food. Our server was super friendly and very efficient. We appreciated the birthday dessert! This is a nice spot to dine in the casino if you want something a little upscale.
