After a meticulous renovation of the Fells Point General Store in 1997, The Black Olive has become a hallmark of quaint elegance on the cobblestone section of Bond Street in Fells Point, Baltimore's waterfront jewel. Although over twenty-five years old, its spirit is rooted in a rich, multi-generational legacy. As a Greek fish tavern in historic Fells Point, we specialize in Mediterranean seafood and traditional Greek dishes, complemented by house-made breads and desserts.     We had a lovely dinner here with friends. The food was incredible, the staff were kind and helpful, and the sommelier was so knowledgeable and helped us discover an amazing Greek wine! Super grateful to all the staff for a wonderful night out. We will definitely be back!

    What a wonderful experience. This is a 27-year-old neighborhood restaurant. The owner joked that “he was his mother’s bus boy.” The food was prepared beautifully. We chose a number of small plates and the fish soup, and had no room for dessert! I wish this was our neighborhood restaurant. I highly recommend eating here.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make the occasion feel special.     The most authentic Greek in Baltimore. The food always delivers. The Owners are like family and always treat everyone with respect. They care about their patrons and make sure everyone has a perfect dining experience. and the Village Pie is amazing.

    Our second visit to Black Olive and we are as happy this as we were the last time. They have excellent menu choices truly something for everyone and all done well. As a wine enthusiast i can say the wine list is deep with incredible choices including DRC. This time we both had fish and found it to be prepared perfect. Apps and dessert along with the Turkish coffee we great. We are looking forward to our next visit already.
