Great food, great service, excellent view and good value compared to others in village.
Great food and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. All served up with a fabulous view!!
Best value for a great meal in the village. Great service.
Excellent friendly service. Food was very good. Party of 12 next to us was super loud.
Great views, casual but lovely, great food and awesome service!
Enjoyable dinner at this wonderful restaurant; we’ve been happy customers for many years. Excellent service and great food for our party of eight.
Excellent food and staff. We eat here every time we are in Beaver Creek.
the service was fine enough & friendly, but the Caesar salad was disappointing at best and the lamb shank was tough & terrible although what else was on the plate was okay. Sadly I can not recommend the place
Good was just okay but service was very slow and our food came out like warm.
Good food and service
Our experience was great! We had a drink at the bar before we sat, it was a busy night but the staff was friendly and helpful. We waited a little longer for our service to start once we got to our table but once it started it was timed just right.
beautiful quiet atmosphere with unique view of ski mountain. Choice of comfort food, such as pizza or excellent meals such as lamb shank and duck. my favorite in Beaver Creek.
Bar/restaurant and cozy. Noisy because of crying children at the time we ate.
The food was fair at best. The server was not very attentive and I'd say I won't be returning for a while.
Out skiing with a group of guys. Great food at a reasonable price for Beaver Creek. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
Beautiful restaurant, nice ambiance, elegant. Expensive but not overpriced for Beaver Creek. Very attentive service. Two of three dishes were delicious (ribeye and chicken). Mushroom ragout was lackluster - 2 of us had it and would not order again. Outstanding shrimp appetizer. We would go back.
Second year stopping by for dinner while staying up in Beaver Creek. This place is a must if you are up in the village vacation.
Great food and service. An excellent value considering it is Beaver Creek.
Only problem was 4 drunk Texans sitting next to our table who were really loud. After they left , a very nice and relaxing dinner.
Chicken and duck were both over cooked and dry. Dessert just average. Simple menu but under executed.
Our waitress was very good and accomodating to a group of 10, including five kids (age 1,3,5,10 & 11. Grilled chicken was fabulous.
The service was outstanding! We were celebrating my daughters 13th Birthday with her friends and the server was very attentive. The food was excellent and they had a good variety. Two of us had steaks and they were prepared exactly as we had asked. Would definitely dine here again and recommend.
Our server Andrew was super efficient and considerate. My father ordered 5 different things while I only ordered 1; I thought I would be waiting forever for my food. Thankfully, Andrew came out with all the plates quickly. He was also kind to call a shuttle back to our hotel.
Food was delicious, staff excellent.
My husband had the double pork chop and said it was the best he had eaten all holiday.
Nice atmosphere, good food, attentive and friendly staff.
The food was a outstanding but the service was fair but the ambiance was more of a family restaurant Instead of a nicer place to eat.
Our waitress was friendly and the atmosphere nice. But the cheeseburger was raw inside, and after sending it back and taking it "to go" because it took so long, we got home to find it was a marginally better "rare" (we ordered it medium-well). Can only speculate why... The kids' meatballs were very spicy, even for adults. So not a successful culinary experience but we were there during a very busy time and perhaps this wasn't the norm.
Food was superb. Double cut Pork chop, blackened salmon, lamb shank .... all were great !!
Homey, not elegant atmosphere, nice for a relaxing meal in the mountains. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their meals, ranging from ribs, snapper, mushroom ragout veggie options, and pizza. The waiter recommended a nice half bottle of wine for two of us, who opted for wine. Compared to many of the overpriced and crowded restaurants at Beaver Creek, this is an excellent option. A little out of the hubhub of the village at the Charter.
Enjoyed our family Christmas dinner at the Black Diamond. We asked for a table by the window well in advance but were seated in the corner instead. The table by the window sat empty almost our entire meal, but we ended up fine tucked away in a quiet corner. The Hanger steak was nothing special but the Red Snapper and Lamb Shank was fantastic with creative flavors and presentation. Expected better as far as overall dining room ambiance and decor, but the service and food quality made up for it.
We had Christmas dinner with Black Diamond Bistro.
We had traveled for most of the day, so we were tired.
Since it was Christmas, I expected more of a "special " meal/feeling/treatment while dining.
It felt like an ordinary meal.
Server was nice but busy - drinks were slow.
Food was great.
It was good, service can be better, general all good.. place can be nicer tho.
The food and service was very good unfortunately the ambience is far below Beavercreek standards. I would only go back if you were to dim the lights by 50 Percent, maybe put a few votive candles on tables and add a few more inviting chairs to the dining room. You have a wonderful location and opportunity to attract a local following, but the plastic almost diner atmosphere is completely uninviting. The entrance with the fireplace and attractive seating sets the stage for a delightful evening but once one enters the dining room all is lost. Apparently the staff is aware but The management is not receptive. Really too bad. Pam Kross a 25 year resident
The food was very good and our service was wonderful. Would definitely go back. The hanger steak was perfect.
The service was very attentive, the salmon and lamb shank were phenomenal and best of all was the price. Overall the best restaurant in the Vail valley!
Great crab cakes and pizza! Lovely view and attentive service.
Drawbacks were - noise levels coming from table next to us on the patio.
Patio is not very wide, so even tables of 4 are crowded.
Lastly, we went there because of the advertised "great views", but the only thing you can see are the plants hanging in front of you and the pine trees blocking the pool. Small slivers of the ski runs were visible, but not enough to justify the "great views" advertising.
This place is a hidden gem. Nice dining room, great views and quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Service was predictably good, food even better.
Service was friendly and attentive,
Food was creative and delicious, great view and great view
We love the black diamond! They have the best pizzas around!!
This restaurant has great food and beautiful decor. My only complaint is the noise level, we have been twice with families with young children playing around the tables. I would suggest going later when a lot of children should be in bed.
