Our Server was great food was great
Drinks and atsmophere was great just sad its closing one of the best steak house in town
The restaurant was busy and service was slow. Food quality was very good but two of the three steaks were over cooked and the server didn't return to check how our food was. Being a "steakhouse" one would expect they would care if the food was prepared as ordered. Also, we went long periods without drink refills. No one at our table expected to be there two hours for dinner. Perfection is never expected but a server who seemed to spend most of their time at just a few tables apparently hoping for a bigger gratuity shouldn't neglect others.
The restaurant will be missed. Lots of memories and good dinners there.
We went in because the restaurant is closing. They were way over booked. Reservations only and were still behind 20-30 min. Appetizer never came out and soup was cold. Took both to go.
this was a very special occasion because it was my 50th Birthday my husbands 50th Birthday and our 10 yr. wedding Anniversary....so glad I made a reservation they got so busy!! but, since we had reservation we got seated right away. server was excellent, food all came at the right time. we did not feel rushed at all. my special request was met with no problems. very very satisfied
I love the ambiance of Black Angus. Great food and a good conversation is always possible here. will truly miss it. Nearest restaurant is three hours away, how sad.
1st of all we had a reservation, yet had to wait way to long prior to our table. Secondly set at s table in the bar that was sized for pretty much drinks only. Received s Ceasar Salad that I did not eat for it looked like someone got it out if s slop bucket, not the usual Ceasar Salad. It was disgusting! Our main meals were good & our dessert. Coffee was not hot & had no flavor. A big very big disappointment for we, family & friends have always enjoyed eating at the "Black Angus" many times before!! Disappointed 😕!!
We went for dinner one last time. Thay are closing down at the end of February. Black Angus has been a part of this community for years. Always a good meal- I will miss it!
Grate customer service and the food was amazing! I would recommend this place to people who really love a grate stake.
Sorry to hear this location is closing. We had very good service.
The food was great. I especially enjoyed the appetizers, the wagon wheel sampler.
We made a reservation at 7:00 it took 30min to seat my party took another 30min to get out order and then an hour to let us know there was no prime rib by then it was 9:00 and we were fed up really hungry and very disappointed we were celebrating my daughters 1st birthday and the ruined a great day !
My wife and I ate at Black Angus for our 50th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was very busy and crowded but we had reservations for 6:00. We got seated right away. The service was great, the server (Sophia) was great, the food was great! All-in-all a great experience.
We waited an hour and 15 minutes for dinner. Steak wasnt cooked and service was bad. They forgot about us!
Every thing was great as always staff was great, clean and always fun.
Fantastic food and great service. The community of Yakima is very saddened to hear that it is closing. It was one of the last steakhouses in town and a great place to dine with friends or family. It will be truly missed.
Our waitress was amazing, she did everything in her power to provide outstanding customer service. Unfortunately we didn't get what we went for, the kitchen ran out of every cut of prime rib, and there wasn't enough loaded potato soup to offer us all one..
But their service really made up for it.
Fork tender filet mignon. Great wedge salad!
Waiter couldn't find fresh pepper mill.
We ordered the campfire feast but didn't get dessert before we had to leave for another commitment.
Actually, this is for the cook. Not a review.
The green beans are ALWAYS too hard and uncooked. The bacon is good, but we have to take the beans home and cook them before we can eat them. It's beyond el dente. We go often, and the beans have been this way for years. I'm surprised you haven't been told this many times, and changed the way you cook them. The steak was tough, so I gave up halfway through. I cut it up and made soup the next day. I've never complained before, but with 2 things not as good as they should be, I think the cook should know. I definitely plan to go again, (I just don't order green beans) I'd like Black Angus to be as good as possible and to make ALL of their customers happy.
Thank you for the great service for my daughter's birthday! Great food and appetizers!
Out of Turkey at 8pm on Thanksgiving day, but did get some dressing - thanks to my server. Rice side did not have much flavor and wedge salad seems to be getting smaller. Service was excellent thanks to David.
Always so friendly and sweet when we come in! :)
We come in every Thanksgiving, because its just the four of us, and we are never disappointed!
It's an old Western style Steakhouse that has a variety of foods for everyone to choose from. May not be the best but a good Value for what you get
We were seated immediately which was nice. The service was excellent. We had the dinner salad and it was great, fresh, crisp, and the fork and plate both were chilled. The main problem was that the steaks were tough. I had the rib eye and my guest the NY strip. They were cooked as ordered but were tough. Tasty but tough.
Yakima Black Angus is our favorite place to dine and take company. Always greeted warmly and since we make reservations wait time is nil. Food excellent and served quickly even with a large group.
Our waiter was absolutely the best. He made our night doubly enjoyable.
The restaurant was very busy so the service was slow.
Always a great meal! The waitress we had was very attentive to our needs. She kept coming by to see if we needed anything else.
Had a wonderful time with my family, service was great the food was good, the usage of special meal coupons was excellent!
This was a Birthday Celebration. Customer Service was excellent. We were to show with a group of 18, however only 14 showed. Staff did not show objection for having less than what reserved. Two orders were corrected with no objection from staff. Overall we & staff had a great time. Thank you.
Overall we were very please with the taste of food. Our only disappointment was that the soup was cold and the potatoes were also cold.
Our server was very friendly.
A long awaited, fun evening. Quick seating, fast service (for cook to order). Pleasant employees. The extra high back seating allows for privacy not found in most restarunts.
We took my husband here for Fathers Day dinner. Our waitress was polite and observant. Our 4 year old daughter loved it too. The food was wonderful and arrived hot. We will be dining here again.
We reserved the Black Angus for our family reunion dinner on Saturday night. We had 9 adults and 4 very young children (all under 3 yrs. old). We thought it would be a little chaotic, but the staff at Black Angus took care of us. I really appreciate the friendliness and "can do" attitude they all had. Our dinner was memorable in the fact our kids were a little (lot) rowdy at times, but we still had a great experience. Thank you Anthony and all the staff.
My baked potato was good, so was the salad.
The prime rib was too thick and very tough cutting. Could have used a meat ax.
The flavor was lacking and the work to chew it was great for weight reduction.
Good food and excellent service. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and that the food was ok .
This place does not serve brunch at any time. Google for Mother's Day Brunch and this restaurant came up so booked 11:00 reservation but when arrived as listing said served brunch found that they did not. We were not the only ones disappointed. The couple next to us ordered their drinks and asked about the brunch and was told there was none. They paid for their drinks and left. My potatoes were cold and steak was not cooked properly. Not worth the money spent. We will not be going back.
Our server,Jenn, was very attentive and polite. The food was good.
Our group had a most enjoyable evening at your establishment. As it turned out none of us had dined at the Black Angus for quite awhile and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. One reason for choosing the Black Angus was the ability to converse without lots of noise from surrounding tables. We all enjoyed our choices from the menu. We especially appreciated our server, Nicole B, she was great.
Had a family birthday party for our 97 year old grandma and David T. our server made the evening great!
