Cory was a great professional server taking care of all our needs and also of those around us. Would ask for her again on future visits. Unfortunately the background music was more foreground and made it uncomfortable to conversing during our meal.

We liked it but you now have to ask for bread and no one tells you that. Don’t know when that started but thought it was not very good, not being aware of the new rule, because the servers sure don’t bring it up and at least ask if you’d like bread. It’s kind of the same thing.

We had to wait over 20 minutes for our table & we had reservations the restaurant was extremely HOT the service we great & the food was as well

The food was exceptional the service was not the best. I made my reservation through open table they offered an add on I added it for Father’s Day to make it extra special. It was Ballon’s a card and a cookie. When I asked for the cookie they denied it said it wasn’t included, this upset me because I had the email that stated it did. I had to leave my celebration ruin the surprise for my husband to go figure it out, than the Manager tells me it’s a typo well how is that my fault. Then I has asked for 2 whiskeys which they don’t serve anymore but yet they weren’t taken off my final bill. What was suppose to be a wonderful experience turned out to be a bummer.

Not sure how Black Angus Steakhouse has managed a 4-star rating on OpenTable — my experience was far from it. I came in expecting a quality steakhouse, and left feeling like I’d just overpaid for a mediocre night at Applebee’s. Let’s start with the ambiance: dated décor, uninspired lighting, and an overall aesthetic that screamed “chain restaurant circa 2002.” If you’re looking for atmosphere, this place doesn’t have it. It’s more cafeteria-meets-casual-dining than anything remotely upscale or memorable. As for the food… fine, I guess? Nothing particularly bad, but definitely not what you’d expect from a place boasting premium steaks and a polished reputation. My steak was just okay — cooked to temp but bland, with sides that felt more like filler than flavorful complements. The low point? The gnat doing the backstroke in my iced tea. When I mentioned it to the server, the response was a lackluster, “Oh, sorry about that,” followed by a replacement tea — no apology from management, no comp, no real concern. Overall, Black Angus feels like a place resting on old laurels and inflated ratings. It’s not terrible, but it’s certainly not 4-star worthy. If you’re after a true steakhouse experience, there are better options out there for dining.

Food was great, from appetizers to desserts. Streaks were cooked perfect, just like we ordered. Our waitress was amazing, friendly and very attentive. We were celebrating a HS Graduation, elementary and kindergarten promotion, she made it a special night for our celebrations! Thank you Jewelyss!
