   We had the Dr.Pepper glazed steak V8 plate. It’s delicious and a great deal, but a limited time special. Our server, Andie, was one of the best servers we’ve had at any restaurant!

    We were seated within 8 minutes, with reservations on Mother's Day. Pleasant surprise. Service was attentive and food was delivered promptly. The shrimp in the appetizer could have been bigger. Drinks were delicious. I ate the special, tasty but a petite filet. Overall a pleasant experience.

    We were seated right when we arrived at our reservation time. Manager John Akilian was at the front reception area greeting all who arrived. Waitress was super nice and brought me my ordered Cherry Moonshine ASAP since my Mom’s Day celebration was ready to begin!! Very pleased with everything at the Whittier Black Angis!

    Our waitress Victoria was absolutly fantastic. She explained everything perfectly in regards to the menu. Drinks came immediatly and appetizers to follow. Food was very good, place was clean. Manager came by and checked on us which was a nice surprise. Waitress was always checking in on us, We will deffinatly be back.

    My prime rib was not that good it was dry and the flavor was just not there. I was not happy with the food at all, the service was a little slacking they were not very attentative

    We enjoyed a great early dinner at our favorite restaurant ,Black Angus .Our service and food were outstanding , especially paying for one meal and receiving another of equal value at no cost ,thank you Black Angus

    Came to enjoy the DineLA special; since it was the 1st day of DineLA, it wasn't busy at all. I ordered prime rib medium rare but the steak I got was extremely rare & cold to the touch. I waited for the server to check in but finally had to ask the host to get our server to come to our table to swap out the steak. When our server arrived, he said "the cook will throw it back on the grill and it'll be medium or well done--are you okay with that?" Prime rib is not cooked like that--one would expect a steak place to know this. He came back with a "new" steak that was slightly less rare, which I accepted. The whole ordeal took so long that the rest of my party was nearly done with their meals by the time I got my steak so that was disappointing. When we left, the manager was at the host podium and didn't even make eye contact to greet & thank departing customers for their patronage. The utter indifference by staff and management is clearly evident.

    It was very crowded but but everything went smooth. I could tell our server was experienced. She was just right. The cook appears to like rarer steaks than I do but it was very tender.

    I had my reservation at 6:15 and was seated at 6:35. I checked into the restaurant at 6:10. So I had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated.

    Good food at a reasonable price. Only problem was we got there 10 minutes early before the reservation time and they said we still have to wait. No big deal but it just didn’t make any sense.

    My review is based on the assigned table that was offered to me when I arrived for my reservation. The location over booked for the event and I was offered two seats at a large table cramped next to a bunch of people I didn’t know. This would have been acceptable if the tables weren’t placed all together but there was no room at the table to breathe because everyone was so close to each other. I was not waisting my money to be uncomfortable with no space to eat, so I left.

    It was not what I expected. I was very disappointed. The food did not pair well with the Tequila infused drinks. I saw the drinks sitting on the bar for 40 minutes before we received them. The drinks tasted sweet and had too much syrup masking the Tequila. The waiter and waitress were amazing. They really tried to hype the coward up but no one was really engaging. I was bored.

    Great Tequila tasting dinner! Three drinks made with different tequilas were all really good. Meal consisted of prawns with avocado butter and chicharrons; Tejin marinated flank steak with guajillo butter, yucca and cumin flavored carrots; tequila lime strawberry shortcake. The flank steak was fine for me , but a little too much on the rarer side. They had a little timing issue with drinks and plates, but difficult to manage with that many guests. They had a great turnout. They even had 3 door prizes, which is a nice bonus, even though I didn’t win! Maybe next time!

    Got seated on time, not crowded for Saturday night. Desiree was our waitress, took drink order quickly. Very friendly, they sat more tables for her which made her very busy. She handled it like a seasoned pro, our soup and salads came out way before our appetizer. Had plenty of time to enjoy soup salad and appetizer, main coarse was not served until one hour after we where seated, no explanation why it took one hour for our main coarse to be served. Did not order anything special, just top sirloin and prime rib.
