   One of our favorite restaurants. Food and our waitress (Carly) was excellent. It was Valentine’s Day and we expected it to be busy, we made a reservation so that was good. I do think they were short on staff. We saw our waitress working hard with our table and at least 5 tables by us. Our only complaint was it took 45 minutes ( we were done with our meal) to wait for the dessert to be wrapped up (we ordered to go as we were full) and for our bill to arrive and us to pay.

   We went to Black Angus for an early Valentine's Day Dinner. We ordered the special - lobster tail and filet, along with zucchini appetizer and salad. Everything was delicious! And our waitress was on point. We've been to Black Angus for lunch before and found the food mediocre and the service, very, very slow. So this dinner was a pleasant surprise and definitely worthy of trying them for dinner again soon!

    We made a reservation a month ago. Upon arriving we were told they gave away the large table they had to a walk in group so we would need to wait 45--50 mins to be seated. What was the purpose of the reservation? It was a little frustrating and embarrassing to my invited guest that we had to wait so long to be seated when we reserved. Numerous people walked in and we’re seated. Birthday boy was sad that in the end he didn’t even get to sit with his whole party as they spread us out with different servers so we actually didn’t even get to “ dine” as a group. We had a Disappointed birthday boy..

    We had a reservation for 630 for a party of two. The African-American hostess was a very welcoming. In the past it has been Caucasian women, and they have been very cold and uninviting. We were sat down. After waiting for an hour, we had to ask the hostesses that passed by if we were going to be attended to. She apologized and asked if she could bring us something to drink. She brought us waters and bread. She also said that she would make sure that our waiter would be coming. The waiter passed by 15 minutes later and said that he would be right with us. He then came 15 minutes after that and we entered our order. 30 minutes later, which is now 830 he passed by and said that there was a delay with our food. I asked even the salads. He said oh let me go check on that another 10 to 15 minutes pass by he came back and said I had to remake your your salads because I had made them prior and somebody stole them. This was a very confusing statement to process. 20 minutes went by and he was passing by another gentleman was bringing our entrees. My spouse said we haven’t even received our appetizers. The waiter said oh I was coming to speak to them about this. Someone stole them and they are working them. This was the final straw. We were very hungry and our food was the only one getting stolen. I was the worst service ever. We let another 15 minutes go by and no communication and therefore left and went to eat elsewhere.

    We did the bourbon experience and it was great. Service was great and the drinks were strong. Cain our waiter was great and the bartender was great. Couldn’t ask for a better date night with the wifey

    We wished that the waiter should’ve asked how we would like the meat cooked. There was 3 of us and we all liked our meat cooked differently. One likes it well done while the other like medium rare. Our entree meat was all well done which was a-bit hard to chew and bland. Drinks were good but was too strong. Food came out a bit cold because they waited to serve all the other tables as well.

    They didn’t offer the prime rib for two but the cattleman for two with prime rib was the same and as always the prime rib was perfect and delicious.

    Issue with service — it was severely lacking. After being promptly, we waited 15 with no server coming to our table, and were ignored by those passing by to other tables. We finally got the manager (Aubrey) involved to get someone to actually wait on us and take our order. After Aubrey (who was wonderful) cracked the whip, the service went fine and was up to the usual standard we had come to expect. Aubrey came by our table a couple of more times to make sure everything was proceeding smoothly. You got a winner with her — take care of her and she’ll make you proud!

    The usual fine service and everything we have come to expect from Black Angus, especially after church service on Christmas Eve. Biggest disappointment? The steak was NOT up to our standards or expectations (doubt it was to Black Angus standards either). Tough and overcooked.

    I made reservations for 2 in the bar for 5:30. We arrived on time. There appeared to be two parties ahead of us. They were promptly seated. There were what appeared to be six empty tables in the bar area. We sat and waited. We waited some more. I asked the hostess why make reservations. Their attitude sucked frankly. Finally we were seated after 20 minutes. Then we waited another 10 minutes for a server.

    The food was forgettable. Our waiter, Cain, was good. The other people, assistant servers, were clueless or did not speak much English. Many years ago I used to eat at BA a lot, not this location though. The Torrance and Burbank locations were better. This was Thanksgiving with paper menu's and it felt like an upscale Denny's with triple the prices. "No substitutions and no changes" was emphasized as we sat down. No class. In fact as we sat down, someone started to argue that the booth was too large for only five people. It wasn't. This place has no employee high-end training and runs like an accountant's dream of cheap everything and high prices.

    No wait time at all which was super! Waiter - Josh - was excellent and efficient. Only very slight downside was the wine I was served was not what I asked for but, it was all fine. Will return VERY soon again.

    Our server was very good, efficient and helpful. Black Angus is a good value if you ask for specials not on the menu. Would be nice to have a bit more soft-low ambient lighting, and the floors were dirty, which made us wonder about the kitchen, but the food was served hot and tasted as expected. We'd like to see a bit more housekeeping.

    We have eaten here several times over the years, it’s a go to place for celebrations. This time it was my mom’s birthday. We had so much food with two campfire feasts, most of us were half full after appetizers. The ribs were excellent as well as the salmon. Plus my mom got a bid chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, she could finish it, but she liked it, but not as much as she liked the carrot cake that some else got with the feast.

    My husband and I always enjoy have lunch or dinner at Black Angus. We love getting their 'special' offerings, such as 'Campfire Feast'. We were very appreciative of the company's kindness in giving a free meal to Veterans, and my husband enjoyed that very much. We've never had a bad meal - the appetizers are varied and so good! The main course offerings are also quite varied and delicious. Deserts have also been a highlight of any visit! SO GOOD!

    The price of the teriyaki steak went up by $10. Now the Caesar salad and baked potato are an additional $3.25. Other diners that came after we were seated were served before our meal came. The excuse was since my daughter requested well done that it took 18 more minutes. Our reservation was for 12:30 we received our meal at 1:10 p.m. Not going back again.
