Very nice customer service and honored our reservation time frame! Food was delicious and prepared correctly the first try - makes a huge difference in my eyes, especially when preparing steak. Will be eating here again !
We go by once or twice sometimes three times a month
The food and service were exemplary as usual. Our hostess was very attentive and prompt to every request, highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
The celebration of "Father's Day" was everything we expected. Prime Rib and Lobster, warm, succulent, delicious. Quiet at 3:00 just as your restaurant opened. Yes, we would return.
For the price...exceptional food...service always great!
Was disappointed. Expected a more upscale dining experience and found the restaurant more like Dennys. Not a STEAKHOUSE we thought of.
Server nice and knowledgeable of menu. Hostess lacked welcoming warmth or a personality. Restaurant is a time capsule from the 70's. Small tables and tight booths are not comfortable... best to ask to clear table frequently as table crowds quickly between beverages, salad, main course. Steaks were very good. Side dishes were luke warm, dry and blah. Salad not fresh and carrots, etc. cut "stringy" like? Lemonade is sugar water and undesolved syrup, very sweet... very sweet. Server confirmed no actual lemons were used to make the lemonade. Birthday cake desert was either forgotten or not available.
My wife and I usually share an entree due to medical situation.
We came for the steak and complimentary grilled prawns.
Or sides were the Au gratin and broccoli with garlic butter.
Celebration our 33 wedding anniversary. 18 oz. Rib eye steak was reasonably priced. Came with two salads. We added two sides, broccoli and potatoes a gratin. All for under $60. Not too bad. Also came, for our anniversary, a nice size fresh hot chocolate chip cookie ala mode.
Black Angus has gone all the way down hill prime rib overcooked rubbery the filet mignon seem like a flat piece of sirloin the New York Stake my friend couldn't even finish half of it the potatoes had no real bacon in them overall I'll never go back
Came here for a Birthday dinner. Part of the party was running late from another city over 100 miles away. Waiter was wonderful & patient & made sure everything was great. The food was delicious & all of the staff was friendly. Yes, we will be returning, & recommend this restaurant.
We are very regular customers to Black Angus. This experience was very disappointing. The server got 3 out of 5 orders very wrong. We were very clear of what we ordered from the menu. She said oh it's busy I thought you all just wanted the special on the Board upfront. No No No.
The meat was not cooked as requested and 2 portions were so fatty we saved it for the dogs.
Very disappointed as it was Mothers day and hoped it would have been a good experience.
We went for Mother’s Day. We made reservations and got right in. They food was very tasty and there was plenty. Very enjoyable evening.
We made reservations for Mother’s Day. We are frequent diners here so we were very disappointed in the food. The portions were so much smaller than usual. My husband ordered the 1/2 rack of lamb with broccoli and based on the picture on the menu, we figured it would be a sufficient amount of food. The lamb chops were minuscule at best! IN FACT WE LAUGHED AT THEIR SIZE!! He maybe got three bites of meat and the broccoli portion was 1/2 the usual size, as was all of the sides! We ordered the fried zucchini and it was so crispy we couldn’t eat it. The service was great although the food took a little longer but we understood it was a special day. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Always a solid good value at Black Angus. We had the Dia de los Madres special (prime rib and lobster) and full rack of lamb—both delicious. And our attentive, funny server (Kirk, I think?) made the meal even nicer!
Service was good, server friendly, food was delicious!!!!
Usual I love this restaurant but mistake with order but was corrected quickly. The worst prime rib I've ever had here. I only have prime rib for special dinners and it was over done since it was so thin and almost half if it was fat .
Everything was terrific, service was astounding
Price was a little over , if I had a coupon, it wouldn’t have been bad for today’s prices.
We had the campfire feast for two. They brought the wrong shrimp on my wife's order, but they corrected the error quickly. Thank you Black Angus your staff is friendly, courteous and efficient.
Because our OpenTable reward would not work at this restaurant, they kindly comped me $10 on our dinners. Very gracious of them to do that.
We try to be very discriminating with our restaurant choices, since we rarely have special family dinners. Ambiance was great, and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back!
Hey, I was really wowed. The steak was unexpectedly very good. The server was excellent. The only thing regarding the free lobster promo, we have a deep regard for the babies of a species...we don't think the babies should be taken. There is no better way to sour a happy customer than to encourage an expectation...and then end up eating the babies of a species.
The steak..saved the day.
My husband and I eat here often and we’re really disappointed that the portion size is SHRINKING. We even talked about it with neighboring diners! Makes us wonder if they’re struggling..
Teresa was efficient, courteous, attentive and nice. She made our dining experience pleasant.
My husband enjoyed his new york steak. Our neighbours enjoyed ribs and prime rib. I didn't enjoy my prime rib at all. Very thin and rubbery. Didn't even look like prime rib. I will not be going back to your restaurant for quite a while.
The server was absolutely OUTSTANDING and the food was doen to perfection. A great dining experience and we will return again and again. Thanks Temecula Black Angus.
Great service and food. We went on Easter Sunday and would definitely do it again.
Dinner was delicious, service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Steak was good but coupon price was misleading and smallest lobster I've ever seen. Good thing is was free or I would have sent it back.
It took us almost 2hrs to receive our steaks from the time we got there and I wasnt very busy at all for us to have to wait that long
Thank you for making my hubby's birthday special!!!
We went for a friend's birthday party and noted that ahead of time on the reservation. Without having to remind them, they brought out a birthday dessert free of charge. It was a nice touch.
I like the location and the Waitress was pleasant, nice and courteous.
Server was pleasant, but was clearly overly busy. She could rarely be found when needed, and did not check on us, as time allowed, when passing by our table. Food took FOREVER to get.
Waitress was very distracted. Kept forgetting our request. Not attentive at all. Had to keep flagging her down
service is great plus food is outstanding .Most of the food taste homemade love the steaks , apps , desserts perfect
Put in back room had no air very uncomfortable . Waitress Harley came back to ask asked if everything was fine it was also a birthday but nothing was done. It was a expensive night and it was nothing to remember !
We have been patrons of Black Angus Temecula, for 18 years but have been giving this restaurant a “chance” for 10 years.
Every time we dine, at this location, we tell ourselves that we won’t return.
Every single time, that we visit, the service is lousy, and the food is messed up and/or mediocre (at best), which makes the value “not worth it”!
On this visit... the server made us very uncomfortable. . . She asked us to tear our coupon out off the page, as it was in block of 3 coupons, and she watched as we did it, then she asked us to lay it on the table. She then and looked at it and never picked it up.
She looked at us and asked for our order.
We ordered, she wrote, she repeated it back, we had to corrected her, she wrote and nodded her head, and said she will check on something and then will be right back.
She never left the table, repeated the order, we corrected her, again, then she nodded and walked away.
She walked past our table several times, in the next 23 minutes, we had to wait for our food, and we waved her down 3 times to ask her for water refills (that never arrived).
The manager delivered our meals, asked what we were drinking, we told him, “water” and he said he would get it (it didn’t come).
The server did not check back, so... we waved her over, told her that the prime rib was almost entirely fat and the meat was very over cooked, and we have been waiting for our water for over 30 minutes. She nodded and responded “oh, ok, what else do you want”? She gets the order, leaves, a busboy comes to table, w/ a pitcher 1/3 full, fills 1 cup and leaves.
The server brings a new meal, (everyone is finished eating) and asks if we are done as she sets check down. We asked for dessert, she acts mad, picks up check, delivers dessert + check and walks away. Never to be seen again.
Love the food!! unfortunatly the portions on the sampler platter has been reduced. I remember when it had for potato slices.
