The service was horrible and it was slow! There were like 3 other tables that actually had people and waitress and servers acted like they were sooo busy they couldn’t function. The food was HORRIBLE! Bland, flavorless and just could have tasted better at McDonalds. Not worth the money or time.
We had not been to Black Angus in quite awhile because our last experience was not too great. We decided to try it again with some friends for an early Saturday dinner. We had coupons and went with the "buy a steak dinner and get the lobster tail free" offer. Our server was so pleasant and helpful, I wish had gotten her name.
Their dinner salads were yummy. They were not served in a small round salad bowl with bagged iceberg lettuce. Lobster tails were small but tasty. All four of us really enjoyed our meals. The ambiance was fine. Since it was 5:30 on a Saturday it was not too crowded or noisey. My only negative comment would be that the booths were a bit dark and dreary and a little close knit!!!
All in all our opinion of the Temecula Black Angus is in good standing and we will be back.
Our visit to the Temecula Black Angus was fantastic! I was there on a first date and I was worried beforehand, because I thought it might be too hard to hear each other, which would make it difficult to get to know each other. But I was so wrong! The lights were a little dim, making it cozy, and it was quiet, which was just perfect! The service was great. Our server was delightful! She gave us plenty of alone time, and yet seemed to be there every time we needed anything. And finally, as always, the food was delicious! Our visit was fantastic, and our date, it could not have gone better, partly due to the awesome service we received from the Black Angus staff. Thank you!
WE have been here many times and this visit was the worst! We ordered our wine and beer, when the waitress delivered them with glasses of water, the wine dropped off the platter landing all over my husband from head to lap and a glass of water flew towards me spilling all over the table soaking everything. The waitress did not ask anyone for help from the back but ran there to grab a few paper towels to mop it up. We were still sitting in water and wine so I suggested we change tables so that one could be cleaned and we could dry off. My husband went to the men's room to wash the wine out of his eyes and face. We ordered dinner at the dry table and they gave me the most disgusting filet I have ever had. It was filled with gristle and a little lobster tail. No one ever came to our table to offer an apology or even to offer a free dessert. NOTHING but wet clothes. The waitress did say she was happy to see my husband was drying out finally! I won't be in a hurry to go back but this is my kids favorite place to eat when they come to visit. I really was amazed at the quality of the steak, it is usually so good there.
Good solid time
The Black Angus standard menu items are always good, but we tried a new dish this time, the crab-stuffed shrimp, which were GOOD GOLLY THESE ARE GOOD! I hope they make it to the regular menu.
Have eaten at Black Angus in several cities in the last 50 years. This was the best meal I have had at any of these restaurants. I will definitely return.
We have Always enjoyed Black Angus...but this was exceptionally good.
Fantastic as always Julie was our server and she was excellent
I would not recommend Dining to any friend. I am not sure what was going on that night in the kitchen... 45min to get our food, no apology from the manager. I felt sorry for the waitress as she seemed to maybe be brand new. I am a 30 year manager in the service industry and would not treat any of my customers to that service.
Very disappointments. We go to the one in Arizona a lot, big fans. This time we were not. The zucchini app was over cooked, was dark brown almost burnt. Our steaks were so thin. Asked for med rare and got well done. My green beans were rubbery or wilted. Like they were reheated multiple times. The waitress came once for refill and then to give us a check, never asked about our food. I was highly disappointed. This was our anniversary dinner and felt like it was a waste of our time and money for sure.
Would be nice if management contacted me and somehow we could be reimbursed or given vouchers so we could try again at our naighboring black angus in Arizona. Better experience there.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the ribeye I ordered. VERY tough. They brought out another one for me that was basically the same. You need to know that I NEVER send food back. The bread and salad were good. But I don’t think I’ll go back based on how much it cost for low quality beef.
This is one of the better restaurants in southern calif. I would have given a higher rating, but the bread served was hard and stale. Drinks were not refilled timely. Server concentrated on larger tables. Appetizer ordered was not served hot and fresh.
My husband and I were so dissapointed that they no longer offer the cauliflower appetizer. It was very good. Bring it back.
With a coupon the cost of the meal for 2 people and 2 glasses of champagne each under $70.
The food was tasty though not brilliant. Everything except the baked potato was just a bit over cooked or dry.
The service was just right-- attentive without any sense of pressure.
This good place -- not outstanding but definitely Not terrible.
I took my husband to the Black Angus restaurant in Temecula for his birthday on June 29th and we could not believe the amount of food we received. We received immediate seating, no waiting. The food was GREAT! The service was fantastic! Our server was amazing! Keep up the good work!
Black Angus is very consistent in their menu items. You always know you are going to get a great cut of prime rib or a perfectly cooked piece of salmon. As was the case last night.
The meals are of great value. The server was one of the best that we have encountered in the area.
Our only complaint was with the hostess that showed us to our table. I don't know why they seat you at the worst table in the house when it is mostly empty. I told her I didn't want to sit in the bar next to the kitchen door, DUH. She rolled her eyes like I was some kind of kook.
The prime rib was horrible and absolutely a poor quality of meat. It was dry. The salad was ehhh. It reminded me of a bootleg longhorn steak house. Never again
Great dinner! Me and my family enjoyed are dinner.
Service was great and the food was great. We will have many more date nights here.
The special was steak with a free lobster tail. But they dont tell you what type of steak it is before you order.
We have dined here many times. This time was a bit of a disappointment, and unfortunately we were celebrating a friend's birthday. Our server was over-loaded with tables, so he was running around like a chicken without a head. He could barely catch his breath. I don't blame him (entirely). staffing is a management responsibility, so that falls on management. However, what our server should have communicated, was that they were short-handed, and that he will do the best he can, but might not be able to spend as much time with us as he would normally like to. Instead, you could see and feel his stressful demeanor, and so that transferred onto our experience. By the end of our meal, other servers must have come on duty, and things calmed down noticeably, as did our server's stress level.
We made a reservation. The service was more than adequate. The food was average for Black Angus. The wagon-wheel sampler was quite greasy, but maybe that is the menu's fault. Speaking of which its probably about time for a menu refresh... the kids enjoyed the experience too.
Food and discount was amazing! Our waitress Amy was helpful and explained menu items well.
My steak was super good!
My friend and I enjoyed a nice glass of wine, good dinner, good service, and not too noisy for a Friday evening. We will return.
After having a reservation at 6:30 we got seated close to 7 pm. The waitress was the slowest person in the restaurant. After taking our order she didn’t check on us for refills or anything. We received our meals before she came to check on us. My wife ordered a well done lobster and ribeye which was medium at best. I ordered a hamburger well done which was like charcoal. My daughters meal was alright. We didn’t complain because it was busy and we knew how slow our waitress was and we just wanted to get out of there. This is not the 1st time we had bad service there. It will be a very long time before we even think about going back.
Food was great and service was out standing . A very great place to take friends and family and my waiting time for the table was not that long as long as you check in on line. Thanks so much.
Great service great food a must go for your dining experience.
Great restaurant for a good steak at a fair price. Portions not too big, which is exactly what I want. Food was prepared well and as ordered. The waitress was friendly and helpful.
We were there for Mother’s Day and my son’s birthday. Everyone there was so nice and helpful and we’re looking to go back again soon.
Our waitress was great very nice and friendly, we did not have to wait long, (we had reservation) maybe 5 minutes.
Your Manager was amazing, my baked potato was a little cold so I could not enjoy, I was going to take it home and place in the microwave, but the waitress took care of me and the Manager brought me a nice hot one! Macaroni and cheese was fantastic!
All in all it was a great Mother's Day meal....
We went for a Mother’s Day dinner. Things were busy but the service was still friendly and knowledgeable. Prime rib and lobster was delicious.
Mothers Day Lunch. Everything was very enjoyable.
Waitress was rude and had an attitude the entire time.
Excellent meal. Very good service. Enjoyed our meal very much.
Great food, good crowd. Service was good-we had waiter who kept forgetting us. But other servers answered and got what we needed and asked for. Overall good service.
THE PEOPLE AT THE RESTAUTANT WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. WE WERE SEATED IN A TIMELY MANNER EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO RE-SCHEDULE THE TIME ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS.
THE WAITER WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEBLE OF ALL DISHES WE ASKED ABOUT AND SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. MY WIFE HAD STEAK AND LOBSTER. SHE PREFERS YOUR LOBSTER TO ANY OTHER AROUND. WE WILL BE BACK.
I went because they sent me a BOGO coupon for my birthday. They were running a special that gave a free lobster tail with every steak order. They would not let me use both, nor could my husband get it either. I had specifically gone for the lobster. My husband ordered the steak and was not impressed. We will never go back.
62 Birthday for my husband
