I ordered a tri-tip steak; it was actually a piece of tri-tip roast- a tougher cut that should be marinated or tenderized in some fashion. It was very tough and I finally gave up trying to wrestle with it and didn't eat it. The rest of my meal was good (salad & baked potato). My friend's prime rib was said to be very good. Service was a bit slow and it wasn't at all busy.
Have been here 2 times during dinner. We have waited for close to an hour each time for our dinner. When the dinner arrives it is cold. Appetizers are cold too.
Will not go back.
Not impressed at all especially when the bill is close to or just over 100.00 dollars.
We had a horrible experience. Our waiter smelled so bad and had long nails with dirty crusted under them. Very unappealing when someone hands you food like that. Second, it took 10 minutes just for us to get water which is annoying but it’s alsl kind of whatever. But every single thing after that took 20 minutes! 20 minutes for bread, another 20 for the appetizer, another 25 for our dinner. By the time we received our food, we were annoyed and ready to leave. It took 35 minutes to receive the check and I had to wait another for our waiter to pick it up, another 10 for him bring it back and I still have to wait another 10 for the cheesecake I asked for to go when I originally asked for the check 45 minutes prior! Overall took us over 2 hours before we were able to leave when it usually takes us an hour TOPS. Very disappointed and will not be coming back.
Food was very good and plenty of it. Was a birthday get together for four and a big cookie with ice cream was brought out for free dessert. After a big meal, dividing it in four was perfect.
Drinks were well made and you could actually taste the alcohol.

This was my parents 52nd anniversary dinner. Appetizer was good, main course for all four of us were COLD. We’ve never had an issue like this at this location. The manager came over and profusely expressed his apologies and that he’d make it right. After our 2nd set of entrees came, all was well. The food is usually pretty good and you get a good portion. I’d still recommend this location but my expectations have definitely been lowered.
Initial seating in the bar area was good, as was the service there. We just had sodas and no wait.
In the main dining area, seating was quick. Ambience was good with western theme. The food was cooked okay for most part, nothing spectacular. The appetizer was very good and in a portion size the could feed three people. The salad was excellent, properly chilled with appropriate amount of blu cheese dressing. The cheesecake at the end of dinner was delicious as well. The issues were the steaks. I would have trimmed the gristle off of the side of the ribeye and cooked it at little less. My wife was not happy with her filet minion as it was undercooked.
It did not make for the right kind of memorable birthday dinner she was looking for. It didn’t help with the party in the back making too much noise. They could have got a private room and cut back on the alcohol. One woman sounded a bit drunk with her inappropriate laughs and loudness.
Maybe it will be better some other time!
Took over an hour to get food, then not all that was ordered with the meal showed up, got my appetizer almost at the end of the meal, had to re ask for my onion rings 3x. Food was cold and late, some very hard and crunchy like it had sat under a heat lamp way too long . Very disappointing with my dining experience couldn't wait to pay my bill and leave. You guys have been there at that location for a long time, I have been going there for years, and this time it was real bad, get it fixed. Respectfully M. Williams
Once we finally got a waiter, it was a great evening and dinner. There was some confusion amongst which waiter was supposed to assigned to our table. Eddie stopped by to see how we were doing... thank goodness for Eddie! He became our waiter per our request since he was the one to check on us! Thanks Eddie!
Went for thanksgiving dinner and after ordering was told one by one they were out of everything. Gave prime rib instead of turkey no pumpkin pie out of potatoes. Sti had the broccoli I guess was one good thing. Took 20 min to get steak sauce after receiving the meals and then was almost double charged for everything. Funnies part was there may have been 8 people there in total. Family and I at least will always laugh at how horrible a dinner it was there
Was for Thanksgiving Dinner with my wife. We eat there quite often, however this was a first for a Holiday dinner. Disappointed at the service as our dinner was served 5 minutes after our salad. We wanted to take our dessert home to enjoy, however we were not given that option. Felt liked we were rushed through out dinner, even though the restaurant was not full.
We eat here once or twice a month. This occasion was Thanksgiving. The place was packed. Surprisingly, we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Service was good. Other family had prime rib which was good. I had the turkey plate and it was excellent. A big meal for $19.99, including Caesar salad and pumpkin pie. Everything was hot and tasty.
Had Thanksgiving dinner at Black Angus and the "traditional" Thanksgiving meal was delicious. Being a very busy day, the service was extremely efficient and friendly. I truly enjoyed my meal and felt the price was very fair. Will keep this place in mind for the future!
Our server was wonderful. Best service I've received in a long time. It was the second time my husband and I have been out alone since our 2 year old son was born! My prime rib was delicious. Husband's steak and lobster could have been cooked better, but overall, it was a great experience.
Black Angus is a formula food place with simple plates but decent quality beef and sides. We enjoyed ourselves. We get regular coupons from the restaurant and usually use them as we did this time. The coupons make the value a little better and the prices what I would consider about right.
We were not impressed & would not recommend this restaurant. We were expecting a nice steakhouse, this was not that! My husband ordered the steak & lobster & it was ALL terrible & inedible. The steak (ordered medium) was bloody rare & the lobster was bad (wreaked of ammonia). The steak on my Cobb salad was just as rare. Definitely not the experience we were expecting for a $100 check.
I ordered their ribeye steak cooked at medium well and it took more than 30 minutes. I almost got full eating their bread which was okay. When I got the steak, the bottom side wasn't even cooked as if I ordered it a medium. It says on the menu that their river steak is flavorful when all I tasted was a flavorless steak. On my thing that made it flavorful was the butter and toppings.
