This restaurant’s menu offers a good selection at moderate prices. We find the quality and service consistently good. The decor is a bit dated and dark. The waiter did not ask if we were a rewards member, so when I mentioned it, she had already put the charge through. S/he should ask before the charge is processed. Having to reverse and rerun the charge appeared to annoy the waiter.

Our Server, Laura was very friendly & attentive. Our entrees, Steak & Lobster Trios, were cooked just as we ordered and were fresh & delicious. The Manager, Roger, was assisting with getting entrees to the tables when needed and checked in on us to be sure our dinners were great, which they were! Thank You

Server was kinda absent, just seemed very “spacey”. We asked for bread a few times which she acknowledged and said she’d be right back and she never brought it over. Bathrooms were filthy and it was very warm inside which kinda sucks especially when you live in the intense heat of Arizona. The food was good but I would not go back to this location or recommend to others.

I've always given 5 stars for Black Angus, but a few pitfalls this time. Seated right next to the door, so the high temps topping 108 in Mesa of yesterday were blowing in the door towards us whenever opened. They really shouldn't have been seating anyone in those 2 front booths leading into the main dining room. Salads came right away, but main course took quite awhile. (have never had to wait for meals at Black Angus, so that was surprising). The 3some opposite us were talking very loud about personal problems the entire time.. Felt restaurant should have politely asked them to lower their voices. This was very abnormal for our visits to Black Angus. Food was great!

We frequent Black Angus many times. Service and our meals have always been great! Have had the prime rib the last two visits and they were done perfect and tasted great! The My Rewards is worth signing up for.

Due to the holiday the restaurant was not busy. We had an excellent server and our food was also excellent! Pricing was reasonable and the overall quality was exactly what we expected. Would definitely go back!

Our son took us out for dinner at BA, we had a res but sat at the bar instead, big mistake.. bar tender was overwhelmed making drinks, happy hour end. There were two other customers at the bar, there were empty dirty glasses piling up, wait staff at the bar waiting for drinks…another lady was trying to help her , didn’t know how to make the drinks without help, you could feel tense approach of the staff. We did get a drink and an app.. hoping that things would settle down so we could order dinner never happened, the bar tender, didn’t really know how to handle the situation, we couldn’t get a menu, or any verbal responses from her.our son grabbed a menu from the entrance, . finally asked for the bill, paid as the manager walked up asking how things were, we probably should have let him in on what was happening.. he should have already known how his team was dealing with the rush, not well. We have never walked out like this, we feel for restaurant staff that work hard to wage and tips.. this was a really bad experience.. Poor communication , poor training, poor customer service We went to Zips, way more busy with much better service, will never go back to that BA, go to Chandler location, never had bad service there

Love the semi-private booths. With my hearing issues I need quiet. They also had a special margarita for $4.
