Jorge is a good waiter.
The wait was an hour longer than our reservation was for. There was also no room to wait comfortably inside.
It was Valentine’s Day and it was super crowded. Luckily we made a reservation with open table.

Our dinner was delicious and even on a busy Valentine’s Day, our server Isabelle was attentive and accurate and friendly.
We wanted to have lunch at Black Angus on Feb. 14 th and I indicated it on Open Table’s form. 1 PM was our choice but Open Table gave 3PM as the available time...Imthought the restaurant was busy for the Valentine’s day...we also had lunch coupons of Black Angus....but at 3PM they told us they do not serve lunch at Sunnyvale Black Angus! I wish Opentable reservation form indicated this fact..... :(
Had same server as previous reservation - much more engaged, responsive and prompt with status and suggestions. Menu items changed where added more choices to menu including desserts. Did try new orange chocolate cake - moist, hint of orange blended with cocoa and chocolate chips - definitely try if love these flavors.
The meat and steak were fine—getting properly cooked vegetables was impossible. When we finally got cooked broccoli, it was yellow, limp and sad and not fit at all to eat. Would recommend they get fresh shipments of broccoli and string beans more often!
My only complaint is there are no tables in the dining area, and as I am Handicapped, we always have to eat in the noisy sports bar. My husband and I celebrated out 80 and 82nd birthday with the TVs going full blast, also in Jan we celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary, again with the TVs going full blast. Makes it a bit hard to have a conversation. Service was great.
they have great steaks, good vegetables, good drinks. the asparagus was quite good. choice of a more open dining room and quiet booths in the back.
