Not our first visit. Entrée's were good. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly! If I was disappointed in anything it was the Cesar Salad. Service was slow but friendly. Very glad we made a reservation! Very crowded on a Saturday evening.
Good service, mediocre food. Margarine served with bread, even if you ignore the terrible Trans-Fats who ever liked margarine anyway?
I think our server must have been new. She shouldn't have been serving a big table in the bar area. I felt sorry for her.
I will next time e sure
request a table in back instead of the bar area.
So many steak choices.
The only bad mark was that both of our meat had to be sent back because we ordered rare and we got well done. Since they push their meat so much that I was a little surprise. It was not even that busy. The staff took good care of us and it made up for the long wait to get our meat redone. The premise is clean, service friendly, but my friend got her birthday dessert but no singing for her which disappointing the 82 year young lady.
Had out-of-town guests so got together with friends. Never seen the parking so packed! Went around and around and around trying to find parking. Found out that the restaurant's system was down so orders were having to be hand written and submitted so everything was backed up! We had reservations and got in right away. Our server explained what was going on and the place was packed as a result. However, she was fantastic and ran around all night in good spirits. Our food may have been a little slower in coming but not so much that we cared. It was also noisy with the screaming kids at the booth next to ours - but that settled down after a while. You can never go wrong with the Cheesy garlic bread and the salads are always good. First time our Caesar salads didn't come on freezing cold plates and mine was almost dry of dressing but the server quickly remedied that. One of our friends hadn't been there before and said his ribs were great! (Which was a huge compliment for the place.) Another of our party really enjoyed the lamb and the other three of us had the petite filets. Mine was cooked nicely but a little "grissly" for a filet. Not a good cut so super chewy and I left a good portion of mine. Another of our party wanting well done had hers rare enough she had to send it back. Unfortunately with the earlier kitchen chaos - she never got it back. And while a Manager did take it off the bill and said it was on the grill and she could take it home in a doggie bag - she never got that either. Otherwise, we like being able to carry on a conversation there and have a great meal at the same time - which we did!
The experience was great. There was a problem with the internet going down so our order could not be put in for quite a wait, but , our waitress was SO GOOD, and sweet and mindful of our wait that she made it all ok. You need to keep people like her!
Sunnyvale Black Angus is a great place for a date night. Good food an drinks for a moderate price.

We love Black Angus . We come here for all occasions .They have food for every one . Vegy lover ,seafood or meat lover . Great deals too.
Wednesday's have half price on bottles of wine.Our food is always fresh and tasty here.
Everyone is always kind and considerate making sure you have everything you need . I hope they will be here for years to come .

Always a pleasure to go to dinner at this Black Angus. The service was excellent, our table was just as we needed it for people with mobility issues, and the food was wonderful.
We enjoyed Black Angus as always. Our server, Kelli, was outstanding. She was very friendly and attentive. I had a problem with one of my food items, and it was promptly corrected. Great experience!
We experienced great food at a reasonable price. The steak was very tender and tasty. We made a reservation for 5:30 pm and got right in. By the time we left, the lobby was busy with people waiting to be seated. So we recommend an early reservation.
The Campfire special is a great value. Decent food for the price.
Waiter was too slow, didn't get our order correctly either.
1) My steak wasn't cook right. 2) They didn't ask for more drinks. 3) Didn't ask for more coffee.
Me and my guy wanted to eat some steak so for a good deal we always go to Black Angus. The Campfire Meal for Two is always the best way to over-indulge hahaha :D!
Good portion of prime rib. Tasty. Could have brought another creamy horseradish however!
We've been going here for over a decade, and service seems to be getting more inconsistent. The food is consistent, although prices keep going up and we noticed a couple more items are upcharges on the menu (caesar and wedge salad, for example, both of which seemed smaller on our last visit as well as being an extra dollar). The staff seem overworked, and the new "minimum wage surcharge" rubs me the wrong way in a big way with the corresponding price increases.

I am very disappointed that this location has dropped out of the Escrip program. That program influenced my decision to eat at Black Angus.
Service and server were very good and friendly. Food was good value but the prime rib has gone down in quality. Would recommend this place which has multiple coupon deals for value.
A good place when you want a steak or good pork chop. The service is good, it is relatively quiet so you can actually talk. It can get crowded so we usually make a reservation.

Our sever was the best we ever had
Maybe it's me, but their steaks aren't as good as they were in the past. Tough filet mignon, cold lobster tails, cold melted butter. The baked potato was good.

My husband and I both ordered filet mignon but I believe they gave us at least one prime rib cut. It definitely wasn't the advertized center cut aged angus steak I was looking forward to. That being said, our experience at this location has been good in the past.

We like to go to Black Angus for a good all around salad, steak, and dessert dinner for a special occasion as such, it was my birthday.
My wife and I have have been dining at Black Angus for many many years. The food is excellent and so is the service. We get good value for our money. We will return.
This was my fourth time eating at this particular Black Angus in Sunnyvale, California. I was taking my friend out for his birthday.
However, this experience was decidedly different. Instead of a packed steakhouse, I found the place almost deserted at 9:45 PM on a Friday night. We ordered the $62 meal for two. The appetizer sampler was only partially successful, since several of the chicken strips were undercooked and still pink in the middle. I ordered my New York steak medium rare and received it between well done and medium well.
I asked that the manager be informed that the chicken had been under cooked and the steak had been overcooked which is the exact opposite of how you err at a steakhouse.
The manager never came over to the table but sent word through our server that my dinner would be on the house which is half of the price of the meal.
Both my friend and I felt a little sick to our stomach‘s after the meal and decided that we would not return.
(I did not penalize the server for screw up by the kitchen and tipped him between about 20% for what I guessed would be the total amount without the reduction.)
It was great.
A good place to be for birthdays and other occasions. Staff are nice and friend! Service is great! Would definitely come back.
