The reservation system was odd. Still had to wait 15 minutes for our table even though we were on time and confirmed the reservation the day before. The food was decent. One of the people in our party had to return the steak because it wasn’t cooked correctly and the second steak had bits of bone in it. Surprising for a steakhouse. Grateful for the free dessert provided and friendly waitress. Very professional.
Nice to eat inside again although previous service at outside tables was OK. Food was up to what is expected from steak specialists. Server was especially friendly and efficient.

My family and I are long-time Black Angus customers, so we decided to visit on Easter Sunday. Their menu was not even half of their original menu, which made no sense given that you can’t use any coupons on holidays. Full price for not even all the dishes we usually get— Not worth it. Definitely visit on days that aren’t holidays.
Great service and lovely staff. First time going as a family and it was hands down our new favorite place!
The cooks were unprepared to make some easy and common menu items. Also, the Covid restrictions prevented my family from all sitting together which ruined the gathering.
The food, although slightly expensive, is delicious and well worth the price. There is enough variety on the menu to meet everyone's tastes. The servers are friendly and attentive.

We did enjoy our evening out with friends though I ordered Salmon and it was not cooked in the center. It was mushy and did not taste well at all. I told the waitress and she did not seem to care and never mentioned it to her boss.
Overall it was good as my friends had steak and was pleased with the flavor.
For our night out, it was okay but he price was very high. I think they raised their prices up $20 from before. Probably won't be going as often as we used to and will NOT get fish again if I go.
We love the Black Angus. The food was amazing. Service was awesome and our complimentary Anniversary dessert was similar to a pizcookie but better!
This is our go to place for Special Occasions and dinner for two! Food, service and attention to detail couldn't be beat.

Been a loyal customer...for over 25 Years , and my Office is next door to the Santa Ana Location.. always bring my clients for a good dinning experience.
Great food. Great privacy for diners. Didn't feel rushed. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a medium priced steak house.
Our dinner were wonderful. Morgan, our server, was so welcoming and pleasant.
There were 5 of us, with 3 out-of-state family visiting. One didn't care for steak, but liked his chicken sandwich. Two had the filet which were good. Some items were not available like honey mustard for the salad, or olive oil to dribble on a baked potato as part of a gluten free, dairy free diet. She had salmon and broccoli also, which she described as 'fine'. One had the porterhouse pork chop which he loved.
I don't recall my server's name but she was phenomenal. Great service on top of everything overall service was five star she did a great job!

Food was good but could have been better. Although a steakhouse, the steak lacked any char at all which is where a lot of the flavor comes from. The desert (chocolate cake) also looked and tasted like it was thawed from frozen. Used to be a regular but we haven't baan back to BA for about a year (the pandemic). Perhaps it's just this outlet, we normally visit the Fountain Valley restaurant, but FV didn't have reservations available. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, it was just the food that seemed a little off from what we normally see from BA.
When I’m hungry for a steak I usually go to Black Angus steakhouse but the last two times my sister-in-law and I went for steak the steaks were either tough or over cooked. Planning on going to the outback instead
The food was not the same as before. We have not been there in over a year due to the issues. Just not the same as before. Will not be back.

We made reservations for 6pm we got there a little early like 10mins and we were seated. Which was great. We were a family of four. My son 6 years old and daughter 13 year. And my husband. We were seated and told that our waitress would be with us shortly. We waited 15 mins and then we noticed a family of 3 adults being seated and then we saw our waitress go to them and take theirs orders and left then came back to us to take our orders. It was a cold evening but the fact that we had to wait after we had been there way before that other family was just not right. Then our heater went out so it was very cold. The food was good.
Great steak as always and my beer ice cold and fresh can’t wait to get to see some ball and enjoy lunch or dinner at the bullseye bar
The ambulances on Tustin Ave were really loud ax was rush hour traffic. It will be great to get back inside.
Due to COVID they are only allowed to have outdoor dinning at this time, bit it is set up very nicely.
Black Angus did a wonderful job with their outdoor seating. All of the servers and wait staff wore masks and gloves. The food is always consistently good!
Took a while to get service. The noise level from the driveway next to us was loud. The prime rib was dry. I realize it’s limited because the only choice is outside but other restaurants due such a great job of providing a nice ambiance. We won’t be returning.
Back in the 80's, we would go to Black Angus for special family occasions. It was always comfortable dining and good food.
About 10 years ago, we found it had gone downhill and pretty much stopped dining there. Then, Covid-19 hit and we have found Black Angus to be one of our favorites. We feel safe, the food is excellent and the service terrific.

Yes I understand its COVID season But When I went in December I received gift cards. I tried to redeem them but since they were expired. The restaurant would not except them. I would have used them early but I had COVID for a month. The server did not care.
Took 30 mins to get drinks after placing order. Took same longer to get appetizers. In the end wife and I decided to ask for check. Didn’t get our check for another 30 mins and then after 15 mins we deciding to walk to front to pay instead of waiting for server.
Went to Black Angus on Saturday February 20th and the one thing that made our experience great was our server Jenny. Very attentive, good sense of humor and never let a glass go dry. Food was usual Black Angus but when you get a great server, it just enhances the whole experience.
I have never had to say anything negative about black Angus but these last 2 times was not the best we took out our order for Valentine's and we were missing some of the items. then for this review we go have dinner with my friend and she ordered the ribeye with some sauteed mushrooms was not the best She didn't even finish her food she didn't want to complain we never like to complain and I ordered a New York steak medium. And the added some type of sauce on but wow it was super salty. But we love black A. It was just a disappointment.
This restaurant has ideal outside seating under the eaves of the restaurant. It was actually very nice sitting outside for dinner. The food is always delicious and the drinks were very good!
Where do I start...so we didn’t get seated until 40 mins after our reservation time. This was on Valentine’s Day so I completely understand that they were busy so I gave it a pass. First thing that got me angry was they waited until we were seated to inform me that they ran out of filets...a steakhouse , ran out of filets...I wouldn’t of been as angry if I was told when I checked in instead of 40 mins after. I know the waiter could tell I was angry and instead of apologizing or trying to ease the situation she says “well we’re busy so yeah you can get something else”. I got a NY steak instead with lobster and a couple sides. Lobster was good but the steak was pretty disappointing. Salad sucked , fries & artichoke dip was good. Cheesecake was the worst I’ve ever had. Waiter only checked on us once. Being busy is one thing , but giving bad service is no excuse. Wouldn’t recommend.
Not there fault but so cold outside. Made tour food get cold fast. Love you though and glad my friends are back to work.
