Everything was wonderful after our food arrived. Getting our dinners was a little slow but after being “locked up” for so long it was a minor issue.
Chefs dont seem experienced.
Waitresses seemed overwhelmed.
Cleanliness is poor and bathroom needs a new overhaul it's pretty disgusting.
Returned food twice.
I won't be back. Looks poorly ruined and the restaurant needs a deep cleaning.

Jocelyn was amazing. Her positive attitude really made the experience a full star better. The Ribeye was good, the Prime Rib was alright, slightly dry.
We were seated next to the kitchen, so it was noisy. Our server was very good … until the end of the meal when she just disappeared. We had to ask the manager for our check. We like this place because it’s close to home, but it’s hit or miss in terms of food quality and service. They should focus on consistency.
Food was great. Service was great. Location of the table/seating was too busy. Noticed some customers requesting tables be cleaned again. Based on appearance, tables required cleaning.
No wait time, that was good. Fast service for ordering drinks and placing food order. The amount of food was more than I had expected. The Fried Zucchini was delicious. There was a hugh salad. I was a little disappointed with the main item, Ribeye Steak. Before the Pandemic I had eaten many times at Black Angus and enjoyed the steaks very much. This time the steak seemed like it had no seasoning and was not very tasty.
First time actually eating in a restaurant in over a year. reservations required and we were seated right on time. Our waitress was outstanding, very attentive and professional.
My one complaint was my filet was overcooked but still edible. I know some chefs are insulted when you ask for well or medium well so they give you the worst piece of meat in their filet stack(Which still isn't that bad:-) ) Been going there for years, rarely a problem.
Server didn't have many tables and was SLOW.

I went for my birthday special and got top sirloin steak dinner. The steak was very good! Especially for being free lol! They also cook you a cc cookie for dessert which was a warm wonderful surprise! It was a nice dinner. Choppy communication between young servers, but nothing to stop me from enjoying my food or from returning.
We had a last minute change to our reservation, adding people, and they were very helpful and great. Taylor, our server, was phenomenal. Food was delicious - it was a great evening out.

Went there because of an email offering a deal - it was honored. If you are on a budget be warned the wine is expensive and there are many attractive extras too to boost the tab. But regardless it was good value and a very pleasant experience
Our server seemed to be overwhelmed at first. They gave her too many tables. She took our order and the manager came over to help serve our drinks and bread. Then when our dinner was ready he (manager) served those as well. He joked with us and put us at ease. We will definitely return to this Black Angus again.
Absolutely inedible. (To be fair, I hadn’t realized this was a chain restaurant and I do find most chain restaurants inedible.) But the bread was good, so there’s that.
Great customer service and great food . I wish they had the stuffed halibut back on the menu that would have made it even better.
I took my wife here for her birthday, and the service was really amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, and will definitely return for more!
Too many servers not communicating with each other....Bread was delivered to our table after the appetizer....Cowboy cookie delivered 30 minutes after our meal despite ordering it ahead of time.....Coupon not deducted from original check.....No acknowledgement of anniversary.
Friendly, didn’t rush us, so we could take our time and visit!!!

Expensive for mediocre service and just ok food. Restuarant needs serious remodeling especially the bathrooms and carpeting.

Although the food was good, our server, Britney was not. She maybe stopped by our table 3 times throughout the whole meal. She put all our food in at once I think, so our salad appetizer and entrees all came out at the same time. And we couldn’t even eat after having asked 3 different people for silverware until the manager passed by our table saying “this is ridiculous” at nobody bribing us silverware. Since she dropped the food she didn’t come to our table until the very end of the meal. We were sitting there and she would walk past us without saying anything keeping her head down and not even asking if we liked how our meals were. I worked at a black angus for 2 years as a server and I recall having to do a check in after cutting into the steak to see if everything was alright and she never did. We had to ask the busser and another server for help and ordering our desert. By the time she saw our card in the table she said she would be right back for it and we didn’t even see her for awhile. Our dinner experience was about an hour and a half and we maybe say her a total of 5 minutes, eating for 20-30 and then just waiting on her to give us the time of day. The food was good, but I think Britney may need some more help in service and hospitality. Thank you to the manger who took care of us though and kept checking in on us, we really appreciated it!

I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came out just perfect. However, it didn't quite taste the same as before when I had the entree at a another location. The au jus didn't have any flavor and was pretty bland. My husband has the fire-grilled jumbo shrimp and was disappointed in the size of the shrimp. Needless to say, the shrimp wasn't jumbo sized and more like a medium size. However, since I was given a free steak dinner for my birthday, I thought the price was right.
It was nice to get out! Dinner could have been hotter, but it was just ok.

We were sat in the bar area although when I made the reservation I selected regular seating.
The bartender had to leave the bar to wait on 3 tables! She was amazing!! She made an excellent strawberry lemon drop!!
I marked down a notch for the little girl watching a video at a table near us…even when the adult at the table told her to turn down the sound, she turned it back up!!! This should not be allowed at the table…which continued as she ate!!
I ordered a rib eye & it was sooo good and juicy!

Service and food were perfect last night. We used to go every Sunday night and stopped because the service and food had dropped a lot and then CoVID happened and last night was our first time back in so long and everything was perfect. The guy working the host station -not sure if he was the manager- was very attentive and friendly and then our server also made sure everything was going great constantly and kudos to the kitchen because we all got steaks and it was 8 of us and the steaks were cooked perfectly.
The two young ladies who served us were incredibly nice and ensured we got everything in a timely fashion.
We went in for a birthday celebration. Ordered, then were told the management interpreted the birthday coupon to exclude the other items we were ordering. This was not explicitly stated on the birthday coupon. They do have the right to make that interpretation; we have the right to choose another restaurant. So we left.

My daughter, granddaughter and myself went there for mother's day it was different with the social distance. However my food was ok broccoli was a little cold not hot at all, our chicken was dry no flavor my daughter broccoli was the same. A lot of there menu they were not serving. It was a little disappointing.

Since resuming indoor dining, the service and food seem to be at a higher standard than before. The staff was very attentive and got everything right. The food was cooked perfectly and the timing was just right.
This is the 3rd time I am trying to submit this review. Your Review Software is crap.
To make is very short... the Owner of the Black Angus San Lorenzo Restaurant is not customer focused. She forced my to "kick-out my son" from celebrating his Mother's Day dinner on May 8, 2021. She told me with that she can only seat 6 at a table and could not accommodate my son to be added. I had told her that the original seating was for 6, to which 2 of them were my grandchildren under 7 yrs old. She (the Owner) clearly doesn't understand the reason why the county set a rule of 6 at a table. My grandchildren are purposely not included in the vaccination process because they will not get infected and will not pass along the Covid-19 virus. One of them required a high chair in the isle way, which would have left room to add my son. And finally, she did not understand that all of us were vaccinated and living under the same bubble/roof. So, the risk of spreading or catching the virus would have been minimized. She didn't offer any alternatives. She feels she needs to follow the rules exactly or she will be ostracized in a leadership position. She is not customer focused & is contradicting her staff's efforts to provide the best experience to their customers. She needs to NOT work in a customer facing public retail business. I understand she wants to be the owner, but she would not work in the environment. I can tell that the rest of the staff standing around her did not agree to her strong stand without consideration or alternatives. She didn't even read the note the Manager left. So, we didn't have a good experience without my only son present during the dinner. This reflect poorly upon the entire Black Angus reputation. Shame on you...!
THIS WAS A GREAT PRE MOTHER'S DAY OUTING. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, PLENTEOUS, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS SPLENDID.
