Great food and excellent service! Alex was our waitress, thank you Alex.
Great service they checked on us on a regular basis 1 person was late so server took our order and waited until the last person to submit our order very friendly
pleasantly surprised we used a coupon for steak dinner for two .

Steaks were mostly fat, no flavor, bread was hard as a rock, lobster not fresh. Not once did i get my soda refilled. Spoke to manager and all we got was excuses, asked for bag for to go box at front counter and 3 girls at counter stopped long enough from gossiping to look around and say, no we don't have a bag. Not even a could you please hold on a minute so I can go find one for you. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
The food quality was standard but not great. I think our server was inexperienced we had to ask for refills on drinks and we didn't get much attention. I think the Sunnyvale location is better.
Our waiter was good! Food and atmosphere was very good as well!
Original reservations were for six (6) but doubled. They were prompt in setting up a table that we all could sit together.
Waitress was very attentive and prompt. Everyone got the correct order. Food was good.

Been going to this Black Angus for many, many years. Good prime rib, good appetizers, and good salads. Service this time was sub-par, but that it not our normal experience.
The full meal was exceptional with great service. Would do it again and again.
My wife and I have a standing date night because our work hours don’t overlap well.
Waitress was extremely busy that night and not able to bring back things such as the vegetables Bread drinks as requested in a timely fashion. Other than that everything was fine
We came in a half an hour early for our reservation and the hosts told us we could get sat early. We ended up waiting the full half an hour to our reservation time plus an additional 15 minutes. So we waited a total of 45 minutes to be sat while several other walk-in parties were sat within 15 minutes. My father Who's bday we were celebrating had to go to the host a 3rd time and THEN we got sat right away. Once we were sat down our server was sweet. It did take us a long time to get our food and drinks but we did understand that our server had a couple of bigger parties and she made up for it with positivity and attention to detail with our orders. Overall i had a good experience with food and service. But the disorganization of the hosts definitely started out experience on a negative tip. We love this location and hopefully next time we come we don't experience this again.
My medium rare steak that I ordered came back medium well or well done however the staff did get me a medium rare and a lobster tail which is what I originally ordered I requested got to go and after leaving a tip discover that I had no to go utensils or napkins in the back to eat with

We go here often and I noticed that the service is getting increasingly worse. We sat immediately in the bar section at a table that had part of the fiber glass missing. So virtually someone could have injured them selves. The service was exceptionally slow but in all fairness it was due to the fact that this young lady was once again the only one in her section and she had several large parties. So getting any type of decent service was out of the question. The appetizers came out really fast. Then my dreaded salad came out. It was a mess. Nothing but lettuce and tons of dressing. It was nasty. I had the waitress take away. However nothing was suggested to replace the nasty salad. The food was brought out. It was superbly done, very tasty. Let me just end it by saying, the service is horrible. The food was delicious. You had to wAit long periods of time to be take care of. Tried to file a complaint with the headquarters, no response !!!!
Service was great, ambience is a too dark and with one very bright LED drop lighting that basically just light up what’s on the table reflecting lights back so it was not comfortable for your eyes. Food was prepared just right.

We eat at the Black Angus a couple of times a month. We always receive great service and the food choices are excellent.
I absolutely enjoyed everything about the evening. My waitress was fast and efficient. The food was correct and delish. I love the booths walls that let my kids be kids and it didn't interrupt anyone else. Reserving the table was easy. Seating was fast. It was clean and comfortable. Even the bathroom was clean and smelled good. Great job. I'll defiantly be back.
Nice family place for a decent steak. Not going to blow you away, but the cost won't blow you away either. Great for kids. Super friendly service.

This restaurant has been a go to place for my family for years, mainly at this location but also in Pleasant Hill. I was quite disappointed in this visit, and the last few visits have not been up to par either. My food was not served hot, the potatoes were lumpy, the green beans burned. My companions didn't complain but I noticed a large amount of fat cut off of a steak. Service has usually been pleasant but not that competent; this time it was competent but not pleasant. I asked that the bar tender be told of my disappointment at a particular item not being available any longer, and when I said it would cause me to rethink my visits, I was told that I should come for the food and not the bar. I withheld my comment that the food alone would not bring me in.
Our server, Giovanni was great!!! He was very accommodating and nice.
We hadn't been to Black Angus for some time. Enticed by a newspaper coupon we decided to go. The food was very good, service was also very good. A minimal wait even with the email reservation. But it being Sunday and a lot of families and gatherings considered, not a bad wait. Drink orders taken and received quickly. Appetizer delivered hot, salad nicely spaced and chilled, and hot entree served not right on top of salad, so able to enjoy hot. Things that we appreciate. All around good experience.

The place had bad reviews locally in the past, apparently due to management issues. They seem to be doing well now, I've had 3 meals there months apart and each time has been perfect.
I ordered prime rib and the meat was tough and the flavor was not that great. Only one of us ordered a different plate and he said it was great. Appetizers were excellent. Desert was cheesecake I couldn't eat it was too could taste the cheesecake flavor.
The food and ambiance was good. Very crowded,but we only waited 15 minutes. Wait person ws excellence

This was our second visit in a month. The first time we had excellent service. We were treated like welcome guests by the waiter and food was served at a fitting pace, so we could enjoy each of the delicious courses. I particularly enjoyed the grilled asparagus and ceaser salad sides. The second visit was sub-par in comparison, partly due to waitress being overloaded with too many tables. She divulged we should be aware of the effect on service. It appeared less effort was put into treating us in a friendly manner. The steak was tough, as noted on the menu, surprisingly. I would not order it again. Drinks were slow coming after order. I will try another visit, hoping for better service, as provided the first time. Also, prices were reasonable with a coupon.
the waiters seemed rushed in a not so busy time. there werent as many people, and yet when we got served our steaks, the didn't even wait to see if we needed something, or to check if they were what we wanted, they just dropped the plates and left. rude honestly.
The food was great as usually, but the service was terrible. We were not given menus when seated and the waitress wanted to take our order before we had seen any menus. When we were done eating, we had to call over the server to collect the dirty dishes and she only took a few. We had to ask three times for the bill. It was terrible service

We got the $45 feast. They now charge extra for sample platter. The porterhouse pork chop turned out to to be a regular pork chop that was a half inch thick and it was overcooked and dry. Broccoli was old and turning yellow. Will not go back even with coupon.
